Although the hotel looks a bit older in terms of renovation, it truly deserves all its stars. We loved everything, especially for families: • The location is fantastic, with a breathtaking mountain view. • The pool and sauna are clean, well maintained, and offer an amazing view...

In all a great hotel and I would recommend. Just a few things that, for me let it down just a bit. We were placed in a disabled/ accessible room. It meant we had a huge shower but also bars. I didn't book an accessible room, so why wasn't I given a choice. The garage was rather dark, my wife didn't like it there. And finally sone of the upstairs hallways were dingy too, certainly some better LED lighting...

Fantastic location A very well located hotel for us to explore the area of both Germany and Austria! Excellent breakfast buffet and the breakfast staff were fantastic. Our room itself was functional but had excellent storage space and a wonderful view from the balcony! Perhaps in need of a bit of modernising in the room and definitely need better pillows, sorry! The Rituals products in the bathroom...

Had parking but I am not used to narrow underground parking . Bar was nice. Employees friendly.

This hotel is for families or old people looking for a quiet weekend. Our suite had no air conditioning, so we had to keep the windows open for ventilation, which allowed flies to come in. It was a warm night and the only option for sheets was a comforter. The bathroom had a shower with the tub that was very difficult to access had no slip resistant mats. What an amazing hotel! We stayed 4 nights, staff was so helpful (especially Lisa was so helpful and nice to communicate, you should definitely give her a pay rise!) Olrika the waitress was also very good and professional, we felt like she cared for every little detail! This is such a wonderful place! Everything about the property is faultless, the location is perfect to enjoy nature and relax, the food is incredible and the staff could not be more courteous and helpful! Definitely have to return!

Incredible property, immensely gracious staff

We had a fantastic experience at Klosterhof. The staff made us feel so welcome and well looked after. The rooms are amazing, it is worth getting the rooms with the views of the mountains. The spa and pool are gorgeous and so clean. The food is exceptional and the ambiance in the restaurant changes to suit each meal. We are accustomed to five star hotels, but this one is now top of our list of places...

Super clean rooms and fantastic location. The hotel is right across the street from the train station and within walking distance to many great shops and restaurants. The views from the breakfast room are incredible! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again.

This was one of the most excellent stays I've had at any hotel in awhile! It is reminiscent of a time when customer service at hotels was highly valued. Sandra in evenings and Brigidette during daytime and the rest of staff did an amazing job at assisting us in all our many requests. This is a great place. Great and friendly service. Rooms are big and there is a really nice German restaurant down the street.

The location is good, more than 200 meters away from the old salt factory. It is convenient to eat opposite. The Italian food is really good. There is also a supermarket next to it, which is convenient for shopping. The hotel rooms are also very good. It is worth recommending

What was unique was the peaceful surroundings and mountain views. Staff was unusually helpful, pleasant and polite. Manuella at the desk always greeted us with a smile and deserves 5 stars fro her service. What I did not like was the hotel has a laundry service for an exhorbitant rate. They should just find a place and install self srvice machines, as then people would plan longer stays there because...

Location: On the German-Austrian border, just over 10 kilometers from Salzburg, a half-hour drive from Lake Königssee, and 1.5 hours from Hallstatt—all quite convenient! Facilities: Basically complete, adequate for a stay! The sofa bed had a sagging corner, and I felt like I was about to fall off! Nice hotel but don't ask for peanuts. Everything was great, friendly staff, room, pillows and breakfast. But when I asked for some peanuts together with my beer I discovered that the 2 small handfull portions I received were billed for 3.60 euro's, more expensive then my beer! Buy your peanuts at the supermarket.

Should be a separate floor for people with dogs.

Room was mostly clean but a rather large cobweb in the corner of the room with a few huge spiders. Staff was very friendly and helpful getting the room cleaned up. Biggest down side was the parking. Make sure you book it in advance. They only have 9 spots and they go quick.

Nice room, spacious and clean. The paintings on the wall were hanging croockedly. But besides the rediculous parking cost, the location was perfect

Beautiful location right next to a wellness park. 1 street from the main road. Train and bus station right there. Info center were great service and know their information, very helpful. Lots of restaurants to walk to. Loved the area and will be back.

We loved the place. It was clean, spacious, and centrally located, with plenty of restaurants and shopping centers nearby.

New, centrally located hotel. Room large enough for an Ibis. Two glasses and two bottles of water are missing, which seems like the bare minimum for a guest! Not even two glasses to put toothbrushes in!

Everything was perfect: the location, the welcome, the breakfast, the parking, and the room. The only small downside was the gym, which is too small and not well equipped. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

For a group of 10 pax, it was too late for us to book a hotel in Salzberg, it came to be the back up for us to book this hotel because it is quite fae away from Salzberg.

We used this hotel as our base to explore Salzburg and its beautiful surroundings, and it turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. The hotel is new, with a modern and up-to-date design. The facilities are also very nice—we especially appreciated the balcony and the nice views of the Alps. We didn’t have time to try the sauna, but maybe next time! One small addition that would improve the experience...

The room was new, but a bit small. The underground parking lot was large, and the parking fee was reasonable.

We stayed in this hotel for five nights. Everyone was incredible! The location was perfect for getting downtown. The rooms were clean and spacious for two, also every room had a balcony. My favorite part about the hotel is that the had a mini bar where they had wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages essentially at cost. I enjoyed everything about this place. I would come back again! The only downside...

The staff there are incredible the best people work there seriously. Excellent guest services, friendly. Amazing !! Room clean, spacious, comfortable bed. The one negative is parking can be hard. It’s tight on the actual property but there is parking nearby about .5 miles (10 min walk) free 6p to 9am. You can also ask to rent the car port for 5/ night which I think is good at least for your first...

Dear Fuchs family, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the great and caring stay from 05.04.24 to 07.04.24. It was like "home" I've never been to a hotel where you take your cold drinks from an open fridge and write down what you had on a piece of paper. Payment on departure... Great trust to the guests! The breakfast is very good! Large selection of fresh and above all different...

I always choose to stay at this lovely family hotel when I come to this delightful corner of the world. Clean spacious room, beautiful garden, good breakfast. We stayed in the villa Erica. It was like a Museum! Just five minutes away from königlicher Kurgarten. Perfect place to have a relaxing holiday.

Very nice Villas from late 19th century. It almost feels like staying in a museum. The owners took well care of maintaining the original flair of the building. It is still in a good condition with new bathrooms so it didn't feel rundown. Also there was a nice garden around the villa. The breakfast was also good with many choices including scrambled eggs, fruits, cold cuts, and many choices of bread...

Good breakfast, nice wellness area Nice hotel, clean, friendly staff. The wellness area is very nice. The steam room is currently being renovated. The graduation tower works – just find the remote control and press "C" to "ON." The infrared sauna also works – unfortunately, some of the buttons on the control panel are mounted backwards, which turns the system off instead of on. Experiment a bit here...

I barely have the words to describe our perfect holiday at Seeblick. I wish I could give it 10 stars. From the first moment you drive up to the hotel it's just wonderful. Nestled in the mountains, with rolling green meadows all around, it's like driving into picture book paradise. The air is so fresh and clean, beautiful flowers and trees and stunning views of Thumsee. The staff are incredibly friendly...

I wish I could give this place 6 stars, instead of 5! Everything is well thought out from A to Z and the amenities for children are great. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we cannot wait to visit again!

While we didn't stay at the hotel, we popped in for a coffee and cake (the apple cake was AMAZING), and had a lovely time with our daughter. It is very quiet and peaceful, we wished we could have stayed. It definitely isn't a place you would come to without knowing it's there - we were lucky because we thought we were going to just a cafe nearby, and then discovered this!

A very comfortable and cozy spa hotel. Ot has so many nice facilities for children! My favourite is mouse cinema: one can get there only through the small entrance and inside it looks like a small cave with the big TV showing cartoons. A lot of toys and nice game room. SPA itself is very relaxing and comfortable. Gym room is very well equipped. Outside playground is full of interesting stuff like swings...

Perfect alpine lodge with a very good restaurant and balconies with gorgeous views. Lucky I accidentally found it. Will return. Super close to trails (Hochstaufen), Bad Reichenhall, Salzburg. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the experience.

My wife and her family have been coming here for years and it never disappoints. Great place to decompress and tap into old world Germany. The service is always A++ and the owner/chef is top notch. Great vibe and will return each year.

This hotel is really nice. Rooms are very clean, very nice view from the windows. The food in its restaurant is made in a very efficient manner. The chief can make a special food for your needs. Inside the passages of the hotel you will have a very nice experience. I wonder how beautiful it will be in the Christmas!

Rating only refers to the food: very tasty apple strudel, delicious soup and vital salad! Nice service. Highly recommended! Unfortunately, we found it difficult to find the way to the hotel-restaurant entrance, as we came from the hike on foot and thus from below/below the hotel. Anyone arriving by car will be navigated directly to the entrance.
