Very well run hotel (4 stars). Own wellness centre, excellent cuisine. Rooms are bright, large and quiet. We will definitely return.

We just loved it during our stay at the hotel. The entire staff plus the boss was very friendly and accommodating. Despite our large group no problems with seats etc. The days will remain in positive memories and we will definitely come back sometime. Can just be recommended. Many thanks for everything!

We had a wonderful experience. The staff were all wonderful and the rooms were comfortable and very clean. We will definitely be returning. Also the meal selection at dinner is absolutely delicious. We loved everything we tried and the portion sizes are appropriate.

The location near the thermal baths is ideal. I was accommodated in the neighboring house. The room was small and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately, the breakfast buffet didn't convince me. The coffee was a bit weak and the goods on display didn't always seem fresh to me. Otherwise very nice service.

Have vacationed there, it is the only hotel for a long time where we got fresh rolls in the morning and not the baked ones from the big market. The whole staff is super friendly and helpful. The only thing that bothered us is that the rooms and the dining room are too warm. There is really no air conditioning there. Otherwise we liked it very much and that for a three star hotel. Great

As always, a great stay at the hotel. The room was very tidy. A new bathroom and everything you could want for a short stay. A generous breakfast with friendly staff. I always feel very comfortable when I stay here. The location directly opposite the thermal baths is another plus. There's also an underground parking garage with an elevator.

It's very nice this place is for couples and old age couples also for medical treatment, it's has hot water pools and they put sum mineral in the water so it helps to get relief from health and skin problems.

Very nice hotel, directly opposite the thermal baths. The staff is very nice and friendly. And the kitchen is absolutely amazing. Each plate is prepared with great care. The choice of food left nothing to be desired. That was definitely not the last visit.

A nice hotel with friendly staff and good food. It has its own spa area, which is perfectly adequate for a few days. There's even a free shuttle bus to the Rotthaler Therme and back. What more could you want? In the evening, there's a vending machine where beer costs €2.50. Where else do you find that?

We stayed at the Hotel Alte Post for two nights over New Year's Eve. On the day of our arrival, we received a very warm welcome, and our luggage and two very fluffy bathrobes were carried to our room (there is no elevator). The owner is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The premises are inviting, and the food is delicious. We were there with an unannounced group of 20 people, and the wait times were surprisingly short. I can definitely recommend a visit to the Alte Post! An added bonus is that the owner is also very handsome and impeccably dressed! 5/5

Bad Birnbach is a beautiful, quiet resort town with its own thermal baths. Every restaurant, café, and pizzeria we visited was very good and reasonably priced!

Beautiful holiday region. The Rottaltherme thermal baths in town are nice. Entry wristbands are available at reception. The view from the balcony is of an apartment building. Truly dull in bad weather. The local activities are geared toward the elderly. The breakfast is delicious and the staff is friendly. The massages are poor. You can request a spa treatment here. This is our second time staying at Hotel Birnbacher Hof. Booked by phone... Confirmation by email. Upon arrival, we were greeted as if we were regulars... everyone was very friendly and helpful. Great apartment... comfortable beds... a fantastic breakfast, lovingly prepared by Barbara... as was the entire staff... friendly and helpful. We still have a few days ahead of us... we'll definitely be back...

We were once again extremely satisfied with our week at the Birnbacher Hof: absolutely friendly (!!) and competent staff, a quiet, clean apartment with great heating (in December!) and comfortable mattresses, and a cozy breakfast room with regional products. The thermal baths, shops, and restaurants are all within easy walking distance. Completely satisfied, we would love to come back.

The Birnenbacherhof is recommended, only the maisonnette is a bit impractical. You only have one bathtub and it is right on the slope, so only for bathing, not for showering. My stay at the Hotel Rappensberg was very pleasant and beautiful. I felt very well. My room was clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was plentiful and very good. Hotel is in a great location, extremely clean and staff very friendly. The bathrooms are recently remodeled however very small. It's good value for money, however they need to invest in higher quality mattresses.

This was my fifth stay at the Hotel an der Brunnader with my elderly mother, and once again we felt very comfortable! We particularly appreciate the ground-floor room with its step-free access to the garden, as well as the small kitchenette with a refrigerator, which is available to all guests. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired and is truly exceptional – small but perfectly formed!...

Stayed here for three nights while visiting the region. The hotel offers a lot of wellness related services and caters to those who would visit the Rottal Therme, none of which we used. The rooms are positively gigantic, with balconies or patios, and a kitchenette, which we did not use. Furnishings are a bit dated but at least in our room in decent shape. Bathrooms could also do with an upgrade....

We had no clue what this place was like. We had four days to spend before the Viking cruise. We had a blast checking out the ‘hood’,shopping, German biers and food.
