The room was very comfortable, equipment all ok, and the hotel is very well located, 10 minutes from the Siemens Healthineers Training Center and also 10 minutes from the center of Erlangen. Breakfast with plenty of choices, a very special point for delicious honey!!
Small shower, small gym, no hair conditioner and/or body lotion, AC system really bad (maybe good on saving energy), door handle on the bathroom door was loose, room door needs significant force to close, good personnel, good breakfast, good food.

Brand new hotel, very friendly service. Rooms fine, as one would expect from this type of hotel. No irons or ironing boards in the room but I guess possible to get from reception. Location is not central at all, perhaps 30 min walk to the center. But close to Siemens for those who travel there. Some places to get a dinner around but not much of a choice. The rooms are small and cozy, the beds are comfortable however the pillows are way too large. The showers are walk-in, however there is only a little glass wall to stop the water from splashing all over the bathroom floor. The water pressure is pretty low.
This hotel is perfect for what it is. A place to sleep that is great price value. The beds are comfy and the rooms are clean. The bathroom is spacious. The only downside is that they don’t have family rooms so if you are a family then you’ll have to take two rooms
"The Niu " seems to be a new brand within IHG. The room appears lightful and fresh and is clean and well equipped. I also like the color concept and the open space work area in the lobby. However, there was no working desk found in the room. That would have been wishful as I am usually doing some work late at night or early in the morning. The staff was very helpful and friendly! A good modern hotel, conveniently located in 20 minutes walk from the downtown and just a couple of hundred meters from the S-bahn station, in Siemens campus. Friendly and helpful personnel. Rooms are equipped with tiny kitchens, which is a good bonus. There are few supermarkets nearby, bakery downstairs and a couple of restaurants across the street.

We were travelling across Germany and this hotel is just off the main road with petrol station and store beside it. Welcomed very well and room very clean.

A somewhat old fashioned hotel, but in a good sense! Very helpful, polite and friendly personnel, neat chambers. A hotel just to sleep and have a good breakfast in. Most excellent of the hotel is the location. In the centre of the old town, at a quite spot, just behind the central park. Nearby is Steinbach brewery (Top location!!).

Stayed in a separate guesthouse, not the main Rokokohaus building. The breakfast was very good and the staff friendly.
A very nice stylish Hotel, located in the centre of Erlangen. You can reach almost everything on foot or a Bicycle from the Hotel borrow. This Service I find easy top. Car Parking there is, of course. In the vicinity of the University hospital, the Botanical garden, the margravial theatre and the city Museum. Thumbs up!

Everything was good during my 4-night stay in here, especially the service of staff which was truly exceptional.
Thia place is very net and clean. The room is big with complementary drink place on the table. Has had kettle for a late night coffee. The shower has had a very interesting layout and beautifully done. The staff we're very friendly, helpful, approachable and professional. Continental breakfast was amazing. Highly recommended👍
Restaurant was great and the room was clean, tidy and spacious. Rooms don’t have air conditioning but there is a fan in the cupboard. Free lollies are a nice touch.

Love the idea of this hotel. Great friendly staff, comfy rooms! Next time I want to stay in a Nachwachsendem room. With ceilings made from straw and a shower developed by NASA! So cool!
We did not stay at the Hotel but were part of a birthday party so we just came for breakfast and later hung around a little. The staff was super nice, the breakfast was great and mostly local products. Besides the whole place tries to give nature back as much as possible. We loved the rooftop lounge! This really is a place Worte to check out and support.

Simple hotel in walking distance to Erlangen Old Town. Rooms have basic equipment, but are clean. Staff is very friendly.
When i arrived the evening there was cold in the room...the hotel is a bit like a maze, different paths in the morning/evening. Kinda obsolete I would say. The breakfast on the other hand was very good.
Good hotel at fair price, great buffet breakfast, quiet and big rooms with TV and free wifi, nice and friendly stuff. Well located and free parking available.

I stayed here way back in Jan-Feb 2006 and I have fond memories of my stay in Erlangen/Nuremberg. One of the persons working there (forgot his name) was very friendly, courteous and helpful. I took his photo before leaving for good. I hope he is doing very well wherever he is right now.
We , I mean colleague of mine and me have been here this week (13/14) and have been sleeping overnight. My colleague always chose this hotel because it's close to our offices (10 minutes by foot). Regardless a hotel is small as well as its rooms, it's very comfortable and clean with all standarts you need for short as well as long term stay. Even we came very realy morning our rooms have been already...
I have always liked this Hotel due to its close proximity to my office. They have decently sized rooms, with almost all rooms with kitchen facility. Provide bikes for free( 5€, refundable deposit). Last but definitely not the least, there breakfast menu is awesome. Reducing one 🌟 as they a bit on the higher range in terms of room rent keeping in mind it's Erlangen (not so big city)!
Clean and comfortable rooms with friendly staff and a varied buffet breakfast including cooked and uncooked options. Free coffee was available in reception all day, but I missed having the facility to make drinks in the room. The restaurant served only breakfast, though there were places nearby for lunch and dinner if required.

When choosing from few hotes that I've already visited in Erlangen, this is my go to place. To say breakfast is good would be and understatement. Except variety of prepped food, you can also have freshly made pancakes, omelette and fried egg. Watch out though, for rooms with bright courtain and window facing street. Hard to sleep in those.

Some quaint elements but leading with the word 'boutique' is stretching it a little. It takes more than a couple of purple velvet covered chairs. Breakfast rather poor. Restaurant downstairs has much to offer. Now that is a little gem hiding away....overpriced when the area is busy. Standard rates are acceptable...
