3 star hotels in Erlangen

Stayed one night during a work trip. The hotel had all the essentials I needed for a short stay. Room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Solid, convenient option in Erlangen.

We expected more for the price - the room and bathroom was a little bit outdated and small. But the breakfast was perfect, lots of choices, quality food.

It is a spacious standard room but the bathroom is rather small on the contrast. We didn’t manage to get our membership room upgraded so they give us the coffee-tea voucher. They also put in the effort to draw the card and give us a sparkling water. The room doesn’t have a refrigerator. The breakfast is quite good considering the room price. The novotel Erlangen offers the very old design language of Novotel, unfortunately. It really needs an update if the interior. The people working there were super friendly and nice The rooms though defintly need an upgrade. I liked the layout of them but I hate carpets, especially auper old ones which have seen way too many people already. Also, I think jts no longer modern to have a little kitchenette...

We found Novotel Erlangen with ease as the location is superb, ample parking space. Check in was super fast and easy. Reception were friendly and professional. Rooms were well equipped, comfy and we had a fantastic sleep. Breakfast was amazing with loads of choice. There is a petrol station across the street and we filled up and left for our onward journey. Stayed here during a business trip coinciding with the Bergkirchweih festival, so prices were significantly higher than the usual €60–70/night rate. The hotel is clean and functional, with a good location and convenient underground gated parking (€18/day) that’s easy to use with a validated ticket. Comfortable, modern rooms (Bluetooth speaker available, which I appreciate), helpful staff, plenty of space in parking garage, but no possibility to charge electric car. Room was a bit cold and restaurant crowded during breakfast.

Very modern new hotel with excellent fixtures, fittings and furniture. On site parking, with a good free breakfast. Located in the industrial/commercial sector of Erlangen. Walk to the city centre is, a walk so I'd recommend a taxi. The only real let down was managerial staff attentiveness. Unfortunately, the reception staff (adjoining the bar) need to be more aware to the single barmans challenges...

Staying here itself wasn’t really a problem. However, if you can’t get a spot in the ground-level parking area, you’ll have to use the underground paid parking, which costs €15 per night. There’s hardly anything around the hotel, so without a car you don’t have much freedom. The DB station is about a 10-minute walk away, and from there it’s just one stop north to Erlangen, which cost me €3 one way...

A 3 star hotel that outclasses many so-called 4 star ones (e.g in Munich). Stylish decorated, new, clean, large enough, friendly staff, outdoor and indoor parking, stable Internet. Even small welcome gifts are supplied. Well managed!

Very nice and clean rooms, comfortable beds. Variety of food during breakfast, also refilled frequently. Personell is very polite and outcoming - despite the number of tasks. We were welcomed by a very nice and friendly receptionist named Benedikt. He made sure everything was working and we could leave our car even though someone else had parked two spaces over - we will definitely be back.

A somewhat old fashioned hotel, but in a good sense! Very helpful, polite and friendly personnel, neat chambers. A hotel just to sleep and have a good breakfast in. Most excellent of the hotel is the location. In the centre of the old town, at a quite spot, just behind the central park. Nearby is Steinbach brewery (Top location!!).

A very nice stylish Hotel, located in the centre of Erlangen. You can reach almost everything on foot or a Bicycle from the Hotel borrow. This Service I find easy top. Car Parking there is, of course. In the vicinity of the University hospital, the Botanical garden, the margravial theatre and the city Museum. Thumbs up!

Small and old rooms, friendly people and nice area location

Everything you want from a hotel. Clean, confortable, welcoming and serves a lovely breakfast. Ideally placed between Erlangen and Nuremburg with good rail and road connections. A must for anyone wanting a nice stay.

This friendly and welcoming hotel is run brilliantly but a lovely family. The room was great and the breakfast each morning was a real treat. Nothing was too much trouble and I was well looked after throughout my stay. The outside pool area with well kept rose bushes was an ideal place to relax and both the local bus and train services are very close by making travelling very easy. I will be back soon

A really lovely hotel in a super location for local transport links. Very friendly welcome and nothing was too much trouble, with special mention for the delicious breakfast each day. The church bells did not disturb me at night and the comfortable bed and clean bathroom meant I was very satisfied with the accommodation. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely family run hotel that actually made us feel like part of the family from the moment that we arrived. Nothing felt like too much trouble.
