Where to stay in Erlangen

A great hotel in Erlangen city centre. The staff are super friendly and also speak English. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The breakfast has many options and is worth it. One can reach the hotel by foot from the Erlangen Hauptbahnhof or take a bus to the nearest stop Langemarkplatz.

My first room's electricity failed, but they quickly arranged a new room for me. Otherwise a beautiful hotel, great breakfast, great staff.

Hello, the staff was very friendly and accommodating! The room furnishings were very worn - estimated to be 35 years old. The traffic was very loud. Even with the windows closed. The food was good, but unfortunately we weren't full. Unfortunately, we don't have a photo of the mouse in the bar.

Novotel in general has all points.

I didn't have high hopes and just chose this room randomly. The underground parking garage is huge, and there's a direct elevator to the garage. The entrance is nice, the receptionist is very welcoming, and the room is the cleanest I've stayed in so far. The environment is very nice, and the highway nearby makes commuting convenient.

We were welcomed by a very nice and friendly receptionist named Benedikt. He made sure everything was working and we could leave our car even though someone else had parked two spaces over - we will definitely be back.

Beautiful place! This place was amazing! The spa was relaxing and quiet, and the room was nice.

The pictures do not represent the reality... It is a bit older. The rooms are a bit odd. We booked a family room and got 2 separate rooms. One had a cupboard with a kitchenette in it. The bathroom was clean and sufficient. Too bad the beds were rather old and less comfortable. However the restaurant lookt nice and the staff is really friendly.

Excellent breakfast; this the breakfast is worth staying there. No problems with the car - for downtown Erlangen a big plus! Unfortunately, the AC in our room did not work properly, could not reach comfortable temperature. Just for sleeping there ok though. In summary, perfect place to stay in Erlangen, if you want to reside downtown.

Loads to love about this place: nice rooms, really friendly and helpful stuff and then there are things you rarely find anywhere else: coffee machine usage for free all day, at breakfast there is a ginger-lemon shot as well as fresh mint, lemon and ginger tea. I also love the snacks in front if the elevator and the fact that the elevators are open and downstairs by default when not in use. And again...

Great place, clean rooms, good beds, location is super central, good parking options, friendly staff, nice bar. All in all, really good value for money. Just one critical point: 21 Euro for breakfast is a steep price... especially, as there are about 5 bakeries in walking distance, which offer all kinds of German baking & coffee, for a fraction of the price.

Staying here itself wasn’t really a problem. However, if you can’t get a spot in the ground-level parking area, you’ll have to use the underground paid parking, which costs €15 per night. There’s hardly anything around the hotel, so without a car you don’t have much freedom. The DB station is about a 10-minute walk away, and from there it’s just one stop north to Erlangen, which cost me €3 one way...

The simplest business hotel had random knocking on the door starting at 7 am, dripping water noise at night, and a noisy room due to its proximity to the main road. When I arrived at the front desk late, I couldn't check in and had to wait a long time to resolve the issue.

Although I booked a queen bed room, the room given was two single bed bedroom. There was no body to complain about this issue since the checkin was made via a kiosk. Lot of noise coming from the corridor, and even a dog was barking at night(at the corridor). Most probably one of the guests’s dog.

I only stayed for 6 hours to rest, and it was a good place to spend the night.

American style diet restaurant. You can drink a lot of kind of alcohol and eat several kind of burger and salad and more. Amount of dish is good compared to price. Taste is good. The Waiter is friendly. Tip was requested. A cooker didn’t wear the mask.

Everything you want from a hotel. Clean, confortable, welcoming and serves a lovely breakfast. Ideally placed between Erlangen and Nuremburg with good rail and road connections. A must for anyone wanting a nice stay.

This friendly and welcoming hotel is run brilliantly but a lovely family. The room was great and the breakfast each morning was a real treat. Nothing was too much trouble and I was well looked after throughout my stay. The outside pool area with well kept rose bushes was an ideal place to relax and both the local bus and train services are very close by making travelling very easy. I will be back soon

A really lovely hotel in a super location for local transport links. Very friendly welcome and nothing was too much trouble, with special mention for the delicious breakfast each day. The church bells did not disturb me at night and the comfortable bed and clean bathroom meant I was very satisfied with the accommodation. Highly recommended.
