Staying here itself wasn’t really a problem. However, if you can’t get a spot in the ground-level parking area, you’ll have to use the underground paid parking, which costs €15 per night. There’s hardly anything around the hotel, so without a car you don’t have much freedom. The DB station is about a 10-minute walk away, and from there it’s just one stop north to Erlangen, which cost me €3 one way. Walking all the way to Erlangen takes about 30 minutes.

Breakfast at the hotel is the same every day. If you’re staying for weeks, it might get boring, but at least they do serve fresh vegetables (bell peppers, cucumbers, and tomatoes), which is quite nice. The coffee was good, too. Be aware that breakfast starts late on weekends (7:30 a.m.), so if you need to check out earlier, you won’t be able to have it. try asking if you d like to have.

The underground parking has both a barrier gate and a shutter. The shutter is usually open, but at night or early in the morning it can be closed. I only figured out when checking out that if it’s closed, you need to pull a rope hanging quite far from the shutter to open it. Getting from the underground parking into the hotel itself was confusing. You have to come in from outside, turn right, deive straight down to the end, and just before the wall at the very end, there’s a door on the right-hand wall leading into the hotel. Inside, it was also tricky to find the stairs, but I eventually did. Luckily, even though it’s Germany, the hotel does have an elevator. There’s also air conditioning. Heating was needed during my stay, but it was quite weak, and the air was so dry it made my nose hurt.

Overall, the hotel is clean and comfortable enough, but the surrounding area is dull.

On the last day, since it was sunny, I drove to a place called Solar Mountain. The scenery was great, and the stars at night were beautiful. I’ll write a review of that as well

Comfortable, modern rooms (Bluetooth speaker available, which I appreciate), helpful staff, plenty of space in parking garage, but no possibility to charge electric car.
Room was a bit cold and restaurant crowded during breakfast.

Very modern new hotel with excellent fixtures, fittings and furniture. On site parking, with a good free breakfast. Located in the industrial/commercial sector of Erlangen. Walk to the city centre is, a walk so I'd recommend a taxi. The only real let down was managerial staff attentiveness. Unfortunately, the reception staff (adjoining the bar) need to be more aware to the single barmans challenges serving 4 or 5 customers with food and drink only 2 to 3 meters away.

A 3 star hotel that outclasses many so-called 4 star ones (e.g in Munich). Stylish decorated, new, clean, large enough, friendly staff, outdoor and indoor parking, stable Internet. Even small welcome gifts are supplied. Well managed!

Very nice and clean rooms, comfortable beds. Variety of food during breakfast, also refilled frequently.
Personell is very polite and outcoming - despite the number of tasks. Primarily the receptionist had really to multitask - was handling it greatly however it's on the cost of customers time.
Location was also good - quiet but close to highway. Checkout and breakfast time is Customer-friendly, even delayed on Sundays.

Amazing breakfast. Would definitely book again and highly recommend.

The overall feeling is still good. A very qualified express hotel. and still cheap

Brand new hotel, very friendly service. Rooms fine, as one would expect from this type of hotel. No irons or ironing boards in the room but I guess possible to get from reception. Location is not central at all, perhaps 30 min walk to the center. But close to Siemens for those who travel there. Some places to get a dinner around but not much of a choice. The most dissapointing is breakfast. It has all the items, but this being Germany, one expects a great hotel.

The hotel is small, but the facilities and services are very good. The room is not big but clean and comfortable (the rooms in German hotels don't seem to be big). The breakfast is diverse and the waiter patiently explains how to use each food (there are many added to the coffee and cookies) ingredients). Not far from the door is the S1 light rail station and bus station. It is very convenient to go to the city center of Erlangen, Mainfire and Nuremberg. During the two days of the closing ceremony of the Oktoberfest, staying here also avoided the high housing prices in Munich. It was great!
