The hotel was very nice but the communication of the front reception leaves you feeling like you’re on your own because they never answer the phone, are often missing and never look at their inbox. There were several times we tried to call them because we had booked two nights and could not reach the city due to circumstances not in control as we got stranded in another town, they would not refund...

It's definitely an old house. Very old wooden floors. Very old decor. The furniture is old and dark. It's time for a new one. The location near the city gate is convenient. The price is relatively reasonable for the area. Moving luggage around in a house without an elevator is difficult. There's a small free parking lot behind the house, which is sufficient. Walnuts keep falling from the trees.

The room is clean and tidy, a few dozen meters away from the city wall and very close to the train station. The only drawback is that the quilt is a bit thick. It is too hot when covered and cold when not covered. Everything else is good.

Not the fanciest or most modern property but comfortable clean rooms wIth easy walking access to the old walled Rothenburg. We had no issues and the location was perfect!

Two nights stay This hotel is not a boutique hotel and doesn't claim to be so, its traditional and a bit quirky, but clean, comfortable, in a great location with parking as a plus

There is a difference between old and antique; this hotel is truly old. If you have no other choice, you can choose this hotel. Although it sounds nice to be located just outside the city walls, you can find other hotels in the center of the old town. I cannot comment on the food and beverage options because we did not receive this service, but the smell of oil coming from the kitchen was disturbing

Room was nice, very clean and had the best shower I’ve had in Europe. Language barriers were tricky but we muddled through and everyone was very nice and helpful.

The best stay we’ve had in Europe so far! Absolutely fantastic location, excellent staff and great rooms. The free breakfast was wonderful and so was the breakfast staff, will be telling everyone about this place!!

1. Self check-in counter. Was charged again after online prepaid. Still waiting for refund. 2. Main door at the left side of the hotel almost dark. Quite inconvenience to find. 3. No lift. Need to bring own lugage 2 floors up 4. Quite difficult to open the main door and to my surprise, after open the door, it was totally dark and scary 5. Pillow is too soft, difficult to sleep. 6. Room is quite clean...

A convenient accommodation in great location in the old town. Very simple but clean and functional room. There’s nothing in terms of services since the hotel is basically unmanned including fully self-service check-in. Good breakfast.

Great location! Room was clean and the breakfast staff was very attentive. The kiosk check in was a new experience for me. It was okay but prefer a front desk welcome.

It is really a superb location. At the fringe of the old town wall. And the room for a solo traveller is just nice and cosy. Caution: no lift.

Went to the Christmas market on Friday night. Easy walk to the market where we enjoyed ourselves. One of the best Christmas markets we have visited. The hotel's optional breakfast is well worth the 15 euro/each. We highly recommend.

Great breakfast. Clean. Only complaint: other residents sat outside very late and talked so we had to shut our window and then moved inside and sat in chairs in the hallway of our floor. The sound was pretty bad.

It was clean and location was also good.

It was a typical german breakfast. Fresh products and friendly staff. I like that the owner/manager was greeting people and making sure everything was alright. Good and convenient option.

Close to the Train station and only a 5 minute walk from the station. The staff were also friendly and let me check in early. Rooms are old but are clean and not to badly priced.

Lovely owners, and a great restaurant connected to the hotel itself. Parking was right across the street and the room I stayed in was so cute. 10/10 would stay again.

Perfect location in Rothenburg Steps away from the town square the cute little hotel was almost perfect. My only complaint was the showerhead was in a place that if you moved you could either turn it very hot, or turn it off completely. They do have dedicated parking, however not enough for all the guests. But there are plenty of other locations to park. Lovely stay and would say again.

We loved our stay. The location is very convenient and fun. I took off a star because the beds were very uncomfortable so we got very little sleep. Breakfast was an extra fee and wasn’t very good.
