A double and a triple and we're very satisfied. The nice lady at reception gave us a map of the city and explained to us about free tours, main sights and as we visited the city we found her explanations very good

This hotel is highly recommended. Good location and good service. We arrived at the hotel at 10:30 pm, after the front desk had already closed. However, the check‑in process had been perfectly arranged in advance

The hotel is very conveniently located just outside the city centre area. Easy walk for 10 minutes to Market Plaza and city centre area. The room size is good for a couple. Has Aircon which is not common in Germany

The location is excellent, 100 meters from the ancient city wall and about 500 meters from the city center. The breakfast selection is plentiful and varied. Free parking is available in the back

It was a blessing in the summer of June where temperatures are closer to 25 to 30 C. Breakfast has good spread of breads and cold cuts. The restaurant is spacious and service was good

  One big plus for this Hotel is that they have free parking onsite.   Overall Hotel is good if you are looking for good experience at a not very expensive price

Our room for 3 was a good size with charmingly painted furniture and the bathroom was spacious. Shower over the bath which was not ideal for a wheelchair user but we made do

It may not however, suit travellers who want modern in the room facilities like top notch coffee machines. The location is great, just a stone throw from the busy part of the town and Christmas market

The only thing is no rooms in village have air conditioning, so you have to have your windows open during warm summer days. The breakfast was wonderful, many varieties and all very fresh

Location is great, clean, comfortable rooms and beds. Nice size bathroom and shower. Room finish and details were excellent. The food in the restaurant can be very good The hotel / restaurant / beer garden etc

Wonderful location. Excellent breakfast. If you want A/C there is an extra fee. There is construction right next to the hotel. Hard to get to since many of the streets are one way.

The fact that Germany isn't quite ready for the "energiewende" (energy transition) was evident from the fact that the charging station (with a regular 220-volt plug) indicated it would take at least 47 hours to charge the battery of my "fat German" to 80% (!)

The food in the restaurant is good, but a bit pricey - due to the location of the hotel in the center of the tourist area

It was great that they offered a breakfast box on the day of our early departure. Because we wanted to leave around 6:30 AM, it turned out that the hotel's parking and charging facilities were no longer available

This hotel locates at the nearest area in Altstadts from railway station. If you have large suitcase from railway station, I recommend you to stay here because you don't have to pass roads of cobblestone with suitcase

Check in was lovely and the welcoming staff was wonderful. The rooms were spacious and clean with delightful adjustable beds

The check out staff was a little unfriendly but otherwise the stay was extremely pleasant and I would highly recommend

Great location within the old town great restaurant on site and food and service was excellent. The washroom in the room was very small but served the purpose.

The staff (female receptionist and male waiter) were incredibly kind and helpful! They were so accommodating. The room was large, clean and comfortable the the location is top notch

Big room with plenty of space for 3pax. We enjoyed the breakfast - not a wide variety but they were to our taste. Underground garage was good for the snowy weather when we visited.

Very quiet and authentic German hotel. Still not used to the traditional German bedding. We are used to sharing covers. Perfect location for taking a stroll in the evening to enjoy what the city has to offer

Great location close to the main attractions but in a very quiet area. Breakfast was great with good variety. We had a suite on the top floor which was very spacious and comfortable.

Rothenburg is centrally located, which is great and offers good value for money.

Very clean and spacious! An old-style hotel, the first floor has a restaurant, which is quite nice. Downstairs is the famous landmark, Buyunlai! There's a large wine barrel at the entrance, and the hotel has blue walls.

Location is right on the Main Street. Steps from everything. Atmosphere is authentic old wood antiques. Great restaurant and breakfast. Rooms are very large and has all the modern amenities. Very helpful staff.

However, there were two things that bothered me, which are not common in Japan. The first was that there was no trash can in the bedroom, only in the shower room. The second was that there was no refrigerator

The parking was very safe, although initially a little difficult to find. The staff was incredibly friendly. The breakfast was continental and it was adequate. The location was absolutely amazing.

Charming hotel in the very midst of the old town. Stayed two nights from Boxing Day onwards. Some comments: Personnel, everywhere, at the reception and dining hall, were truly lovely and friendly

Lovely Franconian bread! Salmon in small glass jars! Cooled sekt! A friendly lady at breakfast catering offered to prepare my partner a boiled egg when they were ran out (we were the last ones just before closing time)

The mother and daughter staff who do everything took care of our every need and assured our comfort. The breakfast that we had each morning was excellent and especially true about the coffee

You will start with a wonderful breakfast and can have a great snack come lunchtime in the rear garden. The rooms are wonderful and very clean and its nice to end the day with a cold beer next to the garden

Rothenburg is a beautiful medieval city that has been modernized for today's standards. The Gerberhaus Hotel is within the walls of the city and provides all the charm you come to expect

This is the second time i have stayed at this hotel. The staff is wonderful and the hotel is perfect to start your walk around the walled city of Rothenburg

Lovely small place on main Street but not in most tourist heavy end of town. Great breakfast, nice staff. Amazing town.

Just note the head room when walking up some stairs here hahaha. We went and did lots of exploring of the city and the little local pub across the road had great beer and simple but amazing food

There is a pub just down the street to grab a beer or cocktail. I definitely recommend and we will stay here again next time we visit Rothenberg

Parking just outside wall with 24 hour parking and longer if you park there after 6pm the day before 😉 Hotel was easy to find and check in was quick and simple. Room overlooked street and was nice and quiet

Near the main square so it got a little loud with the tourists. Still really nice place to stay for a couple of nights and explore the town.

Our time at the herrnschlösschen was the best hotel experience we’ve had in twelve countries. We appreciate how you made us feel special, and our time here will forever be a joyful memory for us

Great staff, very welcoming, room was awesome and clean, parking was not great as it was a ways offsite- but in a good walkable area. The shower was new and amazing- like standing in a waterfall

The hotel's highlight is the romantic garden, where breakfast is served in fine weather. The owner is a true culinary expert, attentive to his guests' wishes, and is very flexible, humorous, and helpful

We stayed with two kids - room was very spacious with king bed on a main floor and two beds on an upper loft. Room seems to be renovated just recently- everything is new and clean

Very quaint, all the staff particularly Ghengis were some of the best we have ever seen. For us this was our favorite stop.

The hotel is close to the old town, but access requires using stairs, so it may not be suitable for guests with mobility or accessibility needs

Quite diferent from other hotels, but indeed very good. If you want some very god room, exelent cleaning (medium breakfest) and an unic interour, this is the place.
