Great location within the old town great restaurant on site and food and service was excellent. The washroom in the room was very small but served the purpose.

The staff (female receptionist and male waiter) were incredibly kind and helpful! They were so accommodating. The room was large, clean and comfortable the the location is top notch. Would definitely return and recommend this hotel.

Great service, comfortable and clean room, great location. I would recommend that they put up a better frosted glass or at least a window sticker for the bathroom window. It was extremely awkward trying to use the toilet or shower when the window that left little to the imagination was where people would walk. Then to have a clear glass shower in direct line of sight??? No way I would shower at night...

Location is perfect for strolling around the incredible city, staff are so good and welcoming, room was big and clean. The perfect stay.

Only 1 block from the metro station! And just 5 blocks from the historic center. The rooms are excellent—very beautiful, spacious, and spotless. I highly recommend booking with breakfast included; the buffet is incredibly extensive, and for the price they charge, it's an absolute deal.

Great location to the train station and also near to the old town! Price was reasonable. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Really enjoyed the room.

Very impressed with hotel old world charm and facilities a valley view would have been nice, instead of internal view. Supplied breakfast was quite adequate and good choices. Parking was separate but reasonable pricing and only short walk.

Lovely hotel, really friendly staff. The only criticisms would be that the beds are rock hard and you only get one pillow each which is really soft so it’s difficult to get comfortable. The view from our room was amazing though and as we only stayed one night the bed didn’t bother us too much. Can’t fault the staff at all, good breakfast, great service, and they’re super friendly. It's a historic building with a view of the main street, so it's very safe. However, the German lady's service was poor. She only came to the front desk when I rang the bell at checkout, shaking her head and pouting as she walked, as if to say I had disturbed her peaceful daydreams while she was at work.

The location is very good as it is at the centre of the old town, just few minutes walk can reach the museum and the plaza. A very long history hotel with classic design and delicious breakfast.

I was past the hotel's latest check-in time, but the front desk had someone waiting for me. A few curtains in the room were coming loose! However, the view outside was beautiful, and the breakfast selection was excellent! The food was delicious, and the service was very attentive!

The room was large and spacious, and staying within the scenic area was very convenient. Parking was available in the hotel's dedicated parking lot for €11. The buffet breakfast was average. The elevator was broken and unusable, and the hotel lacked air conditioning, making it a bit stuffy at night; there was only one small fan.

Customer service was excellent and the hotel is very convenient to all that the old town has to offer. The hotel is very charming and the restaurant was fantastic also. The room was very comfortable. We were able to walk easily anywhere we wanted to go. This was the perfect stay for our visit to the Rothenburg Christmas markets and we would highly recommend!

Perfect location, just 5 steps away from the famous photospot, Plonlein!

This was a quaint, beautiful hotel within walking distance of everything we wanted! Unfortunately it was super hot and, like most hotels in Europe, there was no AC. The room key was also kind of annoying as you had an actual key - you have to lock yourself in your room at night. The staff was fantastic though and we enjoyed our stay!

This is the second time i have stayed at this hotel. The staff is wonderful and the hotel is perfect to start your walk around the walled city of Rothenburg. You will start with a wonderful breakfast and can have a great snack come lunchtime in the rear garden. The hotel was very nice but the communication of the front reception leaves you feeling like you’re on your own because they never answer the phone, are often missing and never look at their inbox. There were several times we tried to call them because we had booked two nights and could not reach the city due to circumstances not in control as we got stranded in another town, they would not refund...

It's definitely an old house. Very old wooden floors. Very old decor. The furniture is old and dark. It's time for a new one. The location near the city gate is convenient. The price is relatively reasonable for the area. Moving luggage around in a house without an elevator is difficult. There's a small free parking lot behind the house, which is sufficient. Walnuts keep falling from the trees.

The room is clean and tidy, a few dozen meters away from the city wall and very close to the train station. The only drawback is that the quilt is a bit thick. It is too hot when covered and cold when not covered. Everything else is good.

Not the fanciest or most modern property but comfortable clean rooms wIth easy walking access to the old walled Rothenburg. We had no issues and the location was perfect!

Two nights stay This hotel is not a boutique hotel and doesn't claim to be so, its traditional and a bit quirky, but clean, comfortable, in a great location with parking as a plus

There is a difference between old and antique; this hotel is truly old. If you have no other choice, you can choose this hotel. Although it sounds nice to be located just outside the city walls, you can find other hotels in the center of the old town. I cannot comment on the food and beverage options because we did not receive this service, but the smell of oil coming from the kitchen was disturbing

One of the legit coolest places you will come across, one of a kind. Innkeeper Otto is the best and the hotel is fun, clean, spacious and cozy. Good breakfast in the morning and yes they do have a parking garage in Rothenburg which is a miracle!

Perfect location in Rothenburg Steps away from the town square the cute little hotel was almost perfect. My only complaint was the showerhead was in a place that if you moved you could either turn it very hot, or turn it off completely. They do have dedicated parking, however not enough for all the guests. But there are plenty of other locations to park. Lovely stay and would say again.
