Great location within the old town great restaurant on site and food and service was excellent. The washroom in the room was very small but served the purpose.

The staff (female receptionist and male waiter) were incredibly kind and helpful! They were so accommodating. The room was large, clean and comfortable the the location is top notch. Would definitely return and recommend this hotel.

Great service, comfortable and clean room, great location. I would recommend that they put up a better frosted glass or at least a window sticker for the bathroom window. It was extremely awkward trying to use the toilet or shower when the window that left little to the imagination was where people would walk. Then to have a clear glass shower in direct line of sight??? No way I would shower at night...

Only 1 block from the metro station! And just 5 blocks from the historic center. The rooms are excellent—very beautiful, spacious, and spotless. I highly recommend booking with breakfast included; the buffet is incredibly extensive, and for the price they charge, it's an absolute deal.

For Americans, the beds will be different from America but they are more comfortable than you think! Showers are also differently designed, so understand that before you judge. This hotel and the family that runs it are amazing. I stayed here a few years ago when passing through the area and opted to return with my family. This was a quaint, beautiful hotel within walking distance of everything we wanted! Unfortunately it was super hot and, like most hotels in Europe, there was no AC. The room key was also kind of annoying as you had an actual key - you have to lock yourself in your room at night. The staff was fantastic though and we enjoyed our stay!

This is the second time i have stayed at this hotel. The staff is wonderful and the hotel is perfect to start your walk around the walled city of Rothenburg. You will start with a wonderful breakfast and can have a great snack come lunchtime in the rear garden. The rooms are wonderful and very clean and its nice to end the day with a cold beer next to the garden.

There was no way to reduce the temperature of the room, and the room got uncomfortably warm and stuffy unless you opened the window (which would then allow the loud drunken screeches of the tourists on the street to serenade you). The hotel is located on the outskirts of the old town, not too far away. There's a gas station nearby, and parking right outside is very convenient. The decor and furnishings have a retro feel, and the elevator can be a bit jerky. The room I checked into that day had a musty smell; I'm not sure what the issue was. This is such a unique experience. The building is stunning, the rooms are really clean and beautiful. I like that they didn't totally modernize the rooms. The breakfast was amazing and everyone was really friendly. My only complaint is the bed pillow - it's really awful, all our necks were sore the next day.
