Staffs are kind and friendly. This hotel locates at the nearest area in Altstadts from railway station. If you have large suitcase from railway station, I recommend you to stay here because you don't have to pass roads of cobblestone with suitcase.

Great overall experience. The deluxe rooms are spacious and beautiful. The restaurant is excellent. Only negative is that the Weinstube was used as overflow for the restaurant and therefore we were denied entry when we just wanted to enjoy a bottle of wine. I have never been told that we have to eat a meal to enjoy a bottle of wine in a Weinstube.

This was a fabulous boutique hotel right outside the main city walls. The space was so comfortable and it was great having the tub and shower to relax with. The entertainment system was really great too. I wish there were English instructions for use of the options they provided to you via the iPad app. However, if you have Netflix or App accounts you can use those and its no issue. This was a quaint, beautiful hotel within walking distance of everything we wanted! Unfortunately it was super hot and, like most hotels in Europe, there was no AC. This is the second time i have stayed at this hotel. The staff is wonderful and the hotel is perfect to start your walk around the walled city of Rothenburg. You will start with a wonderful breakfast and can have a great snack come lunchtime in the rear garden. The rooms are wonderful and very clean and its nice to end the day with a cold beer next to the garden.

It's definitely an old house. Very old wooden floors. Very old decor. The furniture is old and dark. It's time for a new one. The location near the city gate is convenient. The price is relatively reasonable for the area. Moving luggage around in a house without an elevator is difficult. There's a small free parking lot behind the house, which is sufficient. Walnuts keep falling from the trees.

The room is clean and tidy, a few dozen meters away from the city wall and very close to the train station. The only drawback is that the quilt is a bit thick. It is too hot when covered and cold when not covered. Everything else is good.

There is a difference between old and antique; this hotel is truly old. If you have no other choice, you can choose this hotel. Although it sounds nice to be located just outside the city walls, you can find other hotels in the center of the old town. I cannot comment on the food and beverage options because we did not receive this service, but the smell of oil coming from the kitchen was disturbing

Good location. Parking lot is right across the street with 10 euros.Nice and clean room. But there’s no elevator, so we have to carry our luggage up and down . There’s no A/C inside the room. So we have to open the windows, and you can hear everything on the streets. The breakfast is good, buffet style,and you can order your eggs the way you like.

Went to the Christmas market on Friday night. Easy walk to the market where we enjoyed ourselves. One of the best Christmas markets we have visited. The hotel's optional breakfast is well worth the 15 euro/each. We highly recommend.
