This hotel is highly recommended. Good location and good service. We arrived at the hotel at 10:30 pm, after the front desk had already closed. However, the check‑in process had been perfectly arranged in advance. We simply followed the instructions in the message, picked up our room key, and entered the room smoothly. We truly appreciate the thoughtful preparation and hospitality.

The location is excellent, 100 meters from the ancient city wall and about 500 meters from the city center. The breakfast selection is plentiful and varied. Free parking is available in the back. The toilets and showers are separate and clean.

Staffs are kind and friendly. This hotel locates at the nearest area in Altstadts from railway station. If you have large suitcase from railway station, I recommend you to stay here because you don't have to pass roads of cobblestone with suitcase.

This was a quaint, beautiful hotel within walking distance of everything we wanted! Unfortunately it was super hot and, like most hotels in Europe, there was no AC. This is the second time i have stayed at this hotel. The staff is wonderful and the hotel is perfect to start your walk around the walled city of Rothenburg. You will start with a wonderful breakfast and can have a great snack come lunchtime in the rear garden. This is such a unique experience. The building is stunning, the rooms are really clean and beautiful. I like that they didn't totally modernize the rooms. It's a historic building with a view of the main street, so it's very safe. However, the German lady's service was poor. She only came to the front desk when I rang the bell at checkout, shaking her head and pouting as she walked, as if to say I had disturbed her peaceful daydreams while she was at work.
