Only stayed one night. Had the pool, sauna and whirlpool to myself. Receptionist was absolutely lovely. We were given vouchers for free bus travel and attractions. Room was luxurious with a huge sofa as well as king size bed. Very comfortable with wonderful views from the balcony area

I have visited many places, but the service of this hotel was really better than all of them. When we arrived at the hotel, the friends at the reception accompanied us to our room and gave information about what we could do in the surrounding area. There were delicious meals in the hotel restaurant, we filled our stomachs at affordable prices.

I can say with all sincerity that it is the best hotel you can stay in if you are in the Bavaria region. There is a wonderful view around the hotel, this was our favorite place of our summer vacation. Next year we will come here with all our friends.

This is the best place to stay if you want a clean room with a spectacular view of Tegernsee. Also included is one of the best breakfast buffets we’ve ever had in our travels to Germany. They have assorted meats, smoked salmon, fruits, assorted jellies, the best coffee and more. I highly recommend this hotel and we would definitely stay here again.

Unfortunately one of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever layed in. The mattress was super worn down and that's something you do not expect when paying 280€ per night. The hotel itself is a little bit worn down. (dark corroidors, carpet floors, old smell). The service although was super nice and the location amazing.

My family and I recently stayed at Der Westerhof. We so enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean, and a delicious breakfast was served every morning. We had a gorgeous view of lake Tegernsee from our room. We would definitely recommend Der Westerhof for a stay in Tegernsee.

We really enjoy the view the indoor pool and the luxury facility

The Alpen Chalets were very good - clean, lot of space for 3 adults. Service was great in the Restaurant Senger and the food was delicious. We had breakfast and dinner in Restaurant Senger for nearly 5 days and we liked the food. Spa with massages is also very good. In general excellent experience. This was our 3rd visit during Christmas times and we like it here.

If you fancy a more casual bite to eat, rather than fine dining, this is a good place to come. The food was good, with a special mention for the sliced potatoes, which were even better than the fries / frittes. The relish on the burger was also great. The host was hilarious, and really added to the whole experience. We only came for dinner, so I can't comment on the rooms.

Reversed psychology, when entering the hotel and walking up the stairs to the rooms, you might question your decision booking this hotel. However once you open the room doors, you are greeted with a modern room with amazing views of the lake. Breakfast is amazing, lots of choices and it comes with a lake view. We attended my niece's wedding at the hotel's special wedding venue next to the main hotel building. The venue has indoor seating for around 70 guests on two floors, and is what is best described as typically bavarian, with wooden beams, walls and flooring. So it is a very charming venue for small weddings. The service was stellar as was the food - all locally sourced (I'm told).

A lovely hotel in a superb location for access to Lakes and mountains. It is fairly remote so good for peace and quiet but not much in the way of nightlife. Some staffing issues meant that the dining service was slow and the bar wasn't attended to properly. However, the quality of food and drink was very good.
