Karma Bavaria in Schliersee

We have had a lovely trip and have really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff are wonderful; polite, welcoming and helpful. The room was beautiful with everything we needed plus more. The little touches like the books and the daily 'morning post' (that told us of things to do and the weather etc) really made it. We only had dinner at the hotel once (as for personal health reasons I cannot eat a lot) but the dinner we had was lovely and I would definitely recommend it, my steak and vegetables were cooked to perfection and the staff were more than accommodating, even had a cheeky dice game at the end to try and win it for free (better luck next time for us :) ). The amenities were great - beautiful pool and great sauna and steam room. The games room was a great touch where we had a game of pool and I sat and read my book in the library. Regarding the location of the hotel its perfect - right next to the beautiful lake and great walks, plus the bus and train station is a stones throw away, we found getting into Munich and back really easy. Overall I just want to say we've had a very relaxing holiday which is what we wanted and needed and would definitely recommend this hotel ❤️

We stayed here in December 25 and had a lovely 4 nights here. The location is stunning, beautiful lakes and lovely walks. The local town is unspoiled and traditional which adds to the beauty. The hotel is clean, comfortable and we loved the bar area. The restaurant served good food and fantastic wine. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and professional. The trains from Munich airport are easy to navigate to get to the local station and it’s a very short walk to the hotel.

Thank you for a lovely stay! The room we stayed in (105) had everything we needed, was clean, comfortable and big! Having a kitchenette meant we could cook breakfast and keep drinks and snacks to keep us going on our walks and skiing adventures. We only ate twice in the hotel, once for a delicious 7 course New Year's gala meal and second pizza delivery to the room from the restaurant. Both meals were delicious! Room had hair drier, smart TV (could pay for sky sports for 5€ a day which meant we could watch Premier league game), kitchenette with fridge, coffee machine, microwave, hob and sink. Bathroom was a lovely big walk in shower and was very clean. The staff were very helpful especially Tobi! If you stay book in a meeting to talk about the Karma Club packages. Hotel also had a games room and a spa area. We didn't use the games room but the pool and jacuzzi was very nice especially after a days skiing! Schliersee itself is beautiful. A walk around the lake is a must! Skiing nearby is very good. We went to Suderfeld on a train and then a free bus. Overall a great stay in Bavaria!!

The staff were fantastic — friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile. The location was great, with absolutely stunning views. The hotel’s games room was a brilliant feature, offering bowling, foosball, pool, and even decks with a selection of records to play — a really unique touch. The rooms were fully equipped and had amazing views. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of high-quality options, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The restaurant food was generally very good, though I personally wasn’t too keen on the Indian dish I tried. A lovely added bonus was the free discount for local buses, trains, and nearby amenities — a thoughtful touch that made exploring the area even easier.

Such a beautiful hotel with plenty of fantastic amenities! Had full buffet breakfast every day and the reception staff were all so very friendly. The room was so roomy, clean and comfortable with a great view of the mountains of Bavaria! Would def recommend for long stays, close to many restaurants and supermarket as well as the train station, We had a wonderful walk to the river and took the cable car up to the top and stayed there the whole day to bask in the sun, drinks and the magnificent Mountain View’s, just beautiful ❤️❤️

Beautiful position overlooking the mountains, and a nice spa to use after some long local walks. Incredibly friendly staff who really can't do enough for you; special shout to the reception team and to the Karma Rep Michael. Good to have some non dairy options to eat at breakfast and great that the rooms have cooking facilities ( supermarkets just a short walk away) The local area is beautiful ,with walks around lakes, mountain and waterfalls; will definitely return in the winter x ( 4 star rather than 5 only because there is construction work ongoing) x

Wow....one of our best holidays ever (and we are well travelled) Our beautiful suite in main block near lift was warm and cosy. Spacious balcony with amazing views. Lovely walk in shower and bath. Neat kitchen with dining area and lounge with big settee and TV. Staff were friendly and really helpful. Free guest passes for local transport were useful. With advice from staff we visited Oktoberfest (amazing experience) did a boat trip and some local beauty spots. We saw the cows being brought down in traditional way, from the mountains to the winter barns. Caused a traffic jam but it was a delight. Schliersee town with nearby supermarket, is wonderful and within walking distance. Buffet breakfast offered something for everyone and we enjoyed delicious evening meals in the restaurant. (not open at lunch time) Made use of Happy Hour for reasonable priced cocktails. Downstairs is a huge swimming pool, a Spa (where i had a most relaxing massage) and games area with bowling ally. Karma Members cheese and wine party was epic with international members mixing and chatting (and singing and dancing) and sharing travel stories and recommendations.

Amazing property with exemplary customer service. We stayed with friends for 3 nights during the Oktoberfest period. The resort was pleasant with great views, clean and full of amenities. The staff is really nice and very courteous. The breakfast was indeed amazing. The dinner options at the restaurant were really great too. Overall we had a great time staying at Karma Bavaria. Highly recommended. Would definitely love to visit again in future.
