The Alpen Chalets were very good - clean, lot of space for 3 adults. Service was great in the Restaurant Senger and the food was delicious. We had breakfast and dinner in Restaurant Senger for nearly 5 days and we liked the food. Spa with massages is also very good. In general excellent experience. This was our 3rd visit during Christmas times and we like it here.

This is the best place to stay if you want a clean room with a spectacular view of Tegernsee. Also included is one of the best breakfast buffets we’ve ever had in our travels to Germany. Unfortunately one of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever layed in. The mattress was super worn down and that's something you do not expect when paying 280€ per night. If you fancy a more casual bite to eat, rather than fine dining, this is a good place to come. The food was good, with a special mention for the sliced potatoes, which were even better than the fries / frittes. The relish on the burger was also great. Reversed psychology, when entering the hotel and walking up the stairs to the rooms, you might question your decision booking this hotel. We attended my niece's wedding at the hotel's special wedding venue next to the main hotel building. The venue has indoor seating for around 70 guests on two floors, and is what is best described as typically bavarian, with wooden beams, walls and flooring. So it is a very charming venue for small weddings. The service was stellar as was the food - all locally sourced (I'm told).

With the town centered around wellness tourism, this hotel has the right atmosphere. Sauna, indoor heated swimming pool and close to all the city attractions. The staff all dressed in traditional Bavarian dress.

Well they can’t do anything about the weather so this time we were in our Junior Suite more than usual. It is really comfortable and of course spacious. It has a great view of the lake and is the only hotel in Bad Wiessee with direct access to swimming. This is our go to quiet destination for relaxing. We visited this place during a trip through Oberbayern. We got a Junior Suite with a very large room and a small kitchen. Unfortunately there was no table or desk where you could eat or work. Stayed during winter, and there were ski slopes and hiking trails close to resort accessible by car or local train. Spacious room good facilities and helpful staff.

I only had breakfast there which was great. Staff was nice. They serve home baked bread and home made jam as part of their buffet. The place looks super nice and is in a perfect location.

A great stop on our way south. The location is excellent, very near the lake. The room was very spacious (we received an upgrade), clean and outlooking the lake. Breakfast was very good. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was very good!

We felt very comfortable in this hotel. The decor is very comfortable, the staff is very friendly. The breakfast is very rich, with muesli, fruits, rolls, sausage, cheese, eggs. We can definitely recommend this hotel.
