What a wonderful, relaxing, beautiful hotel and idyllic location by the lake. The hotel staff, without exception where so friendly and charming and could not do enough to make our stay just perfect. We stayed for 2 nights in July for our daughter’s 21st birthday, and the hotel organised the cake for us locally so we did not have to worry about anything. Such a beautiful place with wonderful hospitality, an amazing room, and a relaxing garden on the lake. We can’t wait to come back.

The view, the hotel, just amazing

We felt very comfortable in this hotel. The decor is very comfortable, the staff is very friendly. The breakfast is very rich, with muesli, fruits, rolls, sausage, cheese, eggs. We can definitely recommend this hotel.

Karma Bavaria

Only stayed one night. Had the pool, sauna and whirlpool to myself. Receptionist was absolutely lovely. We were given vouchers for free bus travel and attractions. Room was luxurious with a huge sofa as well as king size bed. Very comfortable with wonderful views from the balcony area

We stayed at the Karma Bavaria for four nights from the 15th April. We loved everything about this hotel: The location, the rooms, the restaurant, the spa, the games room, the gymnasium etc - but perhaps most important the staff were lovely and made you feel very welcome.

Stayed during winter, and there were ski slopes and hiking trails close to resort accessible by car or local train. Spacious room good facilities and helpful staff.

We stayed for 5 nights in a rear facing room that overlooked a nice waterfall, we were staying on a family ski holiday. The room was a decent size and the windows and bathroom had been recently updated. A great hotel if you want to have a little getaway with your family or friends, this is the hotel you are looking for. The kindness of the staff was truly commendable. If you want to spend a nice holiday, you should try this place.

I have visited many places, but the service of this hotel was really better than all of them. When we arrived at the hotel, the friends at the reception accompanied us to our room and gave information about what we could do in the surrounding area. There were delicious meals in the hotel restaurant, we filled our stomachs at affordable prices.

I can say with all sincerity that it is the best hotel you can stay in if you are in the Bavaria region. There is a wonderful view around the hotel, this was our favorite place of our summer vacation. Next year we will come here with all our friends.

Like a home away from home👍 Everyone at the hotel was very friendly, and did many extra things to help. My first day in Germany goes smoothly.👍😜

We had a wonderful experience! As a gluten free guest, the hotel restaurant was really knowledgeable and helpful. The rooms are updated and cozy. Would return in a heartbeat!

I only had breakfast there which was great. Staff was nice. They serve home baked bread and home made jam as part of their buffet. The place looks super nice and is in a perfect location.

Clean room. Hotel was a bit loud (close to road). Breakfast was OK.

Great food. During our 10day stay in Schliersee our group has eaten at a number of restaurants. On a Sunday evening we were able to find a table at Terofal without needing to book as two other “recommended” eateries were booked out. It was a fortuitous state. A great stop on our way south. The location is excellent, very near the lake. The room was very spacious (we received an upgrade), clean and outlooking the lake. Breakfast was very good. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was very good!

Really nice place to stop for lunch! Schweine braten was really good! Käze spätzle not so good, too salty!!

Really nice food for German food. Also sledge rental for 7€. Was very crowded though even though we went for a late lunch around 2pm

Food was great. The staff was very kind. Specially Thomas, he was a man with positive vibes. Overall experience was great.

The location is very good and it is good reachable with the train. The personal is very friendly and they have very good options for dinner. On top of that, the breakfast was delicious!

My team and I loved the atmosphere, setting, food, mattresses and friendly service at the Obere Firstalm! We only wish we had been there longer, and we are already working on booking our return next year.

Beautiful location, lovely, comfortable rooms, good service. Everything you could want for an overnight stop on a beautiful hike. We were with 2 children and a dog and it suited us perfectly.
