Hotel City Residence Frankfurt-Oder in Frankfort on the Oder

My live in the US and our son attended the Sportschool in FO for a year. Each time we have visited we have stayed at this hotel. The hotel is very conveniently located near the train station and it is an easy walk or bus ride to the city center. The rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet and the hotel staff have been very friendly to us. The breakfast (not included) was very nice including eggs, meats, breads, cereals and a nice variety of cheeses and juices and I really enjoyed it. I would highly recommend if you are in FO for a stay here.

Great Hotel to a really good price. Free Wi-Fi, free TV, free water kettle. Extremely friendly staff and great service. Would definitely go there again!

Excellent location next to main train station. Many close by restaurants. Rooms are clean and well furnished. Staff is excellent.

It was such an unexpected pleasure! We stayed 1 night, as I had to work but it was so lovely! The young lady at the front desk was super friendly and welcoming. She gave us our key with no problem. Our suite was located on the second floor and the hallway and stairs were very clean. Upon entering the suite there’s a Kleiderschrank for your jacket and a space for your shoes. This was a highlight for me since we don’t wear shoes in our house;). The bathroom was standard with a shower and no bath but it was all very clean. There were towels and amenities, hair dryer and a folding mirror. The living room and kitchen were also very clean. It was put together very stylish with a rug and adequate lighting. Very comfortable. The kitchen had everything that you would need to make a meal which was a plus for me! The dishwasher and stove were a little worn and not shiny and new but they were clean. The bedroom came with a queen bed and fluffy blankets and a flat screen TV. There was another Kleiderschrank in the room which was also very neat. For me, this was a great hotel. I’ve stayed in many German hotels and this by far was the best. Oh, the breakfast buffet was also delicious and had so many options to choose. My son enjoyed the many fruits that were available. I would highly recommend if in the area. The only thing that was a small annoyance was the sound of the trains all night, but the train station is directly across the street so there’s not much to do about that! :)
