Hotels in Baunatal

I've stayed here several times. It's located in the center of Baunatal, next to an Aldi supermarket. The hotel's overall decor is a bit dated, but the room I stayed in this time was newly renovated. The carpet in the hallway, however, looked a bit old.

We had a great stay - our hotel room was huge - a suite - wonderful. The hotel is situated in a nice quite place - we definately will come back again

The hotel staff went above and beyond and made us a pot of coffee for our early check out.

Best Western Baunatal Nice and cosy with good service and super breakfast. Not too many parking places and rooms nice and clean but simple. Nice equipped bar and gine menu card.

This is a really modern day hotel where you can spend a night or more if need be. The hotel offers 24/7 check in (and out) and has an early breakfast available. Every room gets a bottle of mineral water you can get at the reception hall. Every person gets a room key card. The rooms are divided into three three-story buildings. There are also suites available. Everything is very clean and well organized...

Very cozy and spacious hotel in the region. Clean, big, quiet and bright rooms. Bottled drinking water is free. Large parking. Overall a very good stay.

Having done a 9hour drive we wanted a bed for the night and something to eat and a glass of wine to unwind, so I booked 3 hours before arrival whilst in the car. what ******* does not mention is the restaurant and bar is shut on the weekend, so ended up with a local takeaway, that was shocking. The hotel is very much like a campus. The room had dead flies and I nice ring on the water line in the toilet...

Great beds and good roomsize. Very clean. Kind staff and good breakfast. The relax area outside the hotel is great with sofa-swings and outdoor games. We had a good stay.

A huge hotel recently built. Very clean and great accommodation. My only issue is their surprising lack of handicap parking. Everything else was fabulous.

We had trouble checking in and the receptionist ran our credit card 3 times before finally figuring out that she kept canceling the transaction. She was apologetic in the end but in the moment it was stressful. The hotel itself is a strange set up and reminded me more of dormitories than a proper hotel. The grounds were not well kept, however the rooms were fine. No AC and no mini fridge. Not a problem...

This hotel is in a quiet location. Parking is free outside the hotel and in the car park next to it. The rooms are very large and exceptionally clean. Breakfast is excellent the food is fresh and great buffet choice. Its attached bar serves a wonderful choice of food. Excellently cooked. All the staff are very polite very helpful and professional. The hotel is also dog friendly. Will stay there again...

Hotel has seen better days but rooms are clean and well-maintained. Breakfast ok, staff was very friendly.

Nice hotel. There a restaurant and a pub for food and drink. Free wifi and parking available. Nearby offers limited shopping options. There a park and foredt trails for running, which are worth.

For a 3 star hotel it really is on the upper level. The rooms are not brand new but all clean, so are the bathrooms. The beds are a bit squeaky but not uncomfortable. Breakfast is solid and offers all an average person might want. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. My four stars don't make it a 4 star hotel but a good 3 star hotel.

Absolutely top in the region. Mr. Manfred Bonn takes care of the guests themselves when time allows. The rooms are furnished in the most modern standard, so everyone feels comfortable and satisfied. The breakfast buffet leaves almost nothing to be desired ... the food is absolutely great. I have arranged an event there myself ... all participants were to the complete satisfaction ... the staff is friendly...

Friendly family owned hotel. We came to the bar, and the owner came to talk to us;, suggesting good beer from the region. Room are fine size for a 2-3 business trip. Nothing special, just fine. Breakfast is fine. OK. Good. Restaurant very good, with local beer. Food is very well prepared. Even salad gives you enough enery. Well portion. Parking in the hotel and just across the street.

Booked the hotel for a layover night on a longer car trip and only picked the hotel for its cheap price and because was it on my route. Against my expectations the room was very large, clean and it had a very good bed. The hotel staff was friendly and spoke perfect English.

No airconditioning in our room.

We had a nice stay. It would however be nice with a bit more information on the website regarding opening hours. The sauna is turned on in the afternoon, so if you're checking in late and only stay for one night, you don't have the opportunity of using the facilities. The restaurant was great and we had a really nice waiter.

The food was delicious. We were served by two women, the first one wasn't friendly and didn't feel like serving us. After a while we got another employee. We felt much more comfortable with her because she knew something about service and friendliness. The selection of dishes was sufficient.

Location is good with good parking area. Rooms are clean, not that spacious, but good. Bathroom is good too, with good amenities, but the floor outside the shower gets wet when we take a bath.

The restaurant was closed for our stay. We were housed in what seems like the annex. There was no bar either. We had to get a taxi to eat. Convenient parking was plentiful. The service was not so good as reception proved to be a little unhelpful.

Very nice hotel. Friendly service and comfy rooms. Very good breakfast with lots of options. If you're arriving by car be careful, the address is on Frankfurter straße but the parking and entrance are on Wartekuppe around the corner.

Hotel room ok, a bit old but clean. Was super hot though and there is no fan or air con. Staff businesslike but not unfriendly. Breakfast was ok. For the price however expected something down.

Very friendly staff. Nice rooms. No restaurant available, but plenty options within walking distance. Parking available at hotel, but also at nearby shopping centre. Breakfast is not buffet-style but you need to order upfront. I prefer a buffet-style, but that is a personal opinion. Overall I recommend this hotel to other business travellers.

Reception closes in the evening. Breakfast has to be ordered day before from a list. No buffet breakfast. The hotel is new and rooms quite simple. I liked the bed.

We stayed here last week of June ( 3 nights ,me and my wife) , in Kassel for Documenta , we loved this hotel , lets note that the hotel is under construction , expansion , adding floors and new entrance , new dinning area , etc . But this in no way affected our stay , quiet , great beds , we suggest a room on the street side for now . Staff very welcoming and friendly , nice temporary breakfast service...

The room is a bit old but comfortable . There are free sparkling water bottles and a Nespresso machine .Convenient to enjoy morning coffee in the room . Washroom is a little small but functional. Very close to the Bergpark Wilhelmshdhe

It is suitable for hiking. It is 4 kilometers away from the city, but the surrounding area is really beautiful. At the foot of the mountain, there is a small trail opposite that leads to the top of the mountain. It is very suitable for hiking.

The hotel is really beautiful, located in a resort area. The air has a high level of negative oxygen ions in the morning, which makes me feel better when I stay here!

We spent a weekend here in the hotel with friends to see Kassel and we are very impressed with the hotel. The rooms are newly furnished and there is nothing missing in the room that you need for a weekend, the firm mattresses make for a very good night's sleep and it is beautifully clean. The breakfast was just lovely, great selection, everything was fresh and the staff even checked whether the coffee...

A well-run and rather comfortable hotel. Good soundproofing. Spacious room. Reinforcing sweetness at breakfast would be a good initiative. The staff is efficient and friendly. There is a lack of real parking.

When visiting relatives in Kassel, it is not easy to find a nice hotel for one or two nights. The Hotel Palmenbad offers a very nice option: very good location near Wilhelmshöhe Park, tram in front of the building and good parking. The building is old but overall in good condition. The rooms have the odd scratch but that doesn't really bother you. The facilities are good, there are Nespresso machines...

We stayed overnight on a long trip, so just one night but it was lovely, they were super-nice with our two young kids and put us at ease. We would love to come back again!

Very nice hotel. From Apple TV to spacy rooms or a smaller but very tasty breakfast. It is an example that you can create a nice experience when you understand the customer.

Good room with a nice area away from the bedroom. No lift so if you are on the second floor it is hard work with luggage. Don't pay for breakfast is my advice!

Clean small hotel near hercules monument and castles, breakfast good, bed was good and sauna was fun. We enjoyed.

Nice hotel near hiking paths and Herkules monument. Quite small bathroom but enough for 2 people.

We loved the easy walk to visit the Hercules monument and the walk back from the castle. The breakfast was good and there was even a bar on the premises to grab a beverage. Parking was plenty and free.

Great stay at Pentahotel Kassel! Super kid-friendly, staff made us feel welcome as a family, rooms are comfy, and location near the station is perfect. Best part: they still let you pay in cash (unlike those annoying cashless hotels). Relaxed vibe in the lounge and a good base for exploring Kassel!

The staff are all friendly. When asked a kettle they will provide it. The transportation card for the tram and bus is a bonus. Their breakfast had a variety of food too.

When I couldn't book a room, I found this hotel hidden in the old town. The skylight on the roof can see the clouds at dusk and the top of the church. It is quiet and the sound of rain hitting the skylight at night helps me sleep. It is worth recommending

I went to the Wilhelmshöhe Park. This hotel is one tram stop away from Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe Station. Line 1 is right at the door, and the key point is that it is at the foot of the park. No air conditioning, no air conditioning ~

Very nice hotel and staff. Excellent breakfast buffet. Nice room. Nearby both the railway station, Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe and Zoo am Rammelsberg. The only drawback is the traffic on the street outside, paved with cobblestone so every car makes a lot of noise. Nothing the hotel can do something about, and sleeping with the window shut may silence some of it.

I recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to have an easy access to the train station or tram lines. Very nice and helpful staff, did not try the food but there is a small kiosk and cafe next door. Also the around the corner Chinese restaurant was good. The room is pretty basic but nice and clean. My only complain is the shower. I don't like "shower closets".

You can see the sign immediately to the right after leaving the station. It's very reassuring for arriving passengers with suitcases. The tram leaves right in front of it. I was impressed by the very efficient layout. However, since it's in front of the station, there is some noise! ​​There is no air conditioning, so I couldn't open the window, so it was a little hot.

The room is OK, but there is no parking space, which is very troublesome

The room is very small. The bed in the standard room is only 0.8 meters, and the bed in the king room is 1.5 meters. There is only a bottle of water and a two-in-one shower shampoo in the room. There is no kettle, slippers, toothbrush or soap. The windows are poorly soundproofed. The sound of the train is quite loud. The heating in the room is not very effective and it is quite cold. Beautiful, clean, great wellness area with sauna and steam rooms, and a lovely terrace with a natural swimming area. The nearby castle is beautiful to explore. Also, really good breakfast.

I dined at the hotel restaurant and found the overall experience to be acceptable, though not particularly memorable. The prices, however, were unreasonably high considering the quality of what was served. The greatest disappointment came with the dessert: what was described as a mango bowl sorbet (coconut and basil) turned out to be nothing more than a diced piece of mango with pre-packaged ice cream...

Overall I liked the stay, it's out of the way of the city but I didn't mind because it was quiet. The view was great. The rooms do not have a refrigerator, and this location does not offer laundry service of any kind(I read on the website they did, but I was mistaken). There is not much around the location, so if you wanted to go to the city it would be a taxi ride, but there is a bus down the street...

The location is great, near Hercules Kassel. When you go out from the hotel 2 minutes walking u will have great views, clean air, with a beautiful green area. We stayed 1 night to breathe from the city atmosphere. It was a great choice. The room was conformable and clean. Staff are super friendly and helpful, always smiling face. Restaurant food was delicious. Definitely recommended

This is a lovely hotel. It’s a little (uphill) walk from the tram or you can take a taxi from town. It’s nice to be set in the park. Rooms are smallish and basic. The spa/pool are great. A very pleasant hotel with friendly staff. Plenty of free parking was available nearby. Paid parking was also an option. It was also convenient that we were able to check in before our scheduled appointment. We would gladly stay here again.

Quite dated, but OK. The breakfast was better than the overall condition of the house and very plentiful.

The rooms 1103 and 1105 both are amazing. Two bedded suites . The second toilet with wash basin is extra convenience. The best breakfast in any hotel. Pity the restaurant is being renovated which is a shame as we read some positive reviews and wanted to try it out. The tram card is indeed very useful extra.

Best hotel I have ever visited. It was simply amazing. I arrived at 3:33 AM. The Check-in machine worked. It was simply amazing. I decided to also talk to the receptionist. Im pretty sure he was billingual. He spoke english but also a bunch of others. He was also open to help me with whatever questions and/or concerns I had. I will definetely be coming back. Wow

Very nice hotel, close to the Autobahn, short time between trips in and out of Kassel's centre. The employees are very helpful and there is a big parking lot in the back. The area is quiet. Second time staying at the hotel and very likely to return.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. The room was spacious and modern, and the view from the window was stunning. Perfect for a relaxing getaway.

The bed is super hard and the blanket is too thin, outside my window was something peeping the whole night soon didn’t get much sleep but the service was great! Reception hours are rather short but the housekeeper helped me with an ironing machine which safed my life. He was super friendly and put in some great effort!

If you ever stop in Kassel this is the place to live at! Superfriendly owner with ok quality apartments. We booked this last minut due to Corona and had really no expectations. We got a good experience. The room we got was a apartment with everything you need. Our kid got his own room. Ok restaurant on top and if you like food from Balkan this is a ok stop.
