Hotel Zum Rosengarten is safe and quiet with easy access to transportation. The room is not very big and not the cleanest, but the breakfast is good.

FANTASTIC Hotel
I was just looking for a room near Merck in Darmstadt and what I found was an incredible spot with a fantastic tresaurant and a friendly and energetic staff.
My room was what I needed. Top Floor, a window that opened, heat as needed, etc.
I will stay here again! Love this place!

I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights at the end of September. The food at the hotel was so fantastic that I only ventured elsewhere one evening for a meal out. Food is very reasonably priced as well. Service by Maltilde and Tim with a smile and helpful/friendly manner. The hotel is close proximity to the University and conference centre and also only 5 mins away by Tran to the main squares. Stayed here on a business trip, the food was amazing, along with fantastic local beer. Rooms were immaculately clean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

I temporarily booked this hotel one morning, and another conference center was very close, and I did my makeup there. This hotel has a very important place. Everyone should note that it does not have an elevator, and if it gives you If you want to get a room on the second floor, you will need to carry heavy luggage up the stairs, and most of the service staff in this hotel are women and there is no male workforce. Therefore, you need to ask for help from others, or you may be extremely powerful yourself. So I probably won’t go there again
