Where to stay in Darmstadt

The hotel is located close to the Darmstadt central train station with easy access to Frankfurt. But it’s not so close that it’s noisy. The hotel breakfast had plenty of options and was really tasty. The hotel and the rooms are very clean. The balcony was a nice surprise.

The hotel was clean and had good facilities, but on the day of our arrival, the front desk strictly required check-in by 3:00 PM, while other tour groups arriving after us were allowed to check in before 3:00 PM. This was a double standard.

Excellent hotel, our group arrived late due to traffic but nothing was an issue. Food was excellent both nights and mornings of our stay. Highly recommended

Already been here for a couple of times and I don't think you can get better hotel for this price range. Rooms clean, great breakfast, close to the main train station as well as the city center. My recommendation!

Well maintained hotel in a fairly convenient location. But the service is clumsy. My schedule was changed and I had to leave before breakfast (for which I paid); but when I asked from the receptionist to get coffee from the machine, he insisted I paid for an Americano. Poor, inconsiderate service!

Just had a 9 night stay at this hotel. I liked the breakfast and the breakfast staff. There’s also a fridge in the room and ample storage. But unless you like having no internet and a noisy, hot room just don’t do it. The “soap” in the shower is terrible. Pool was closed. The restaurant was closed during dinner for 100% of my stay. Very nice staff. We were allowed to check in very early. No charge if you are a member of Best Western which is free. That was awesome after flying all night. Old fashioned hotel, comfortable enough for a night or two if you do something in the neighbourhood or you're there by car. Rooms are quite small. Clean and quiet, as long as there is no noise next door. No minibar, few machines in the lobby. Lights in the room are strange, noot good enough. Big parking in front of the hotel. Nothing to do in the evening anywhere nearby, at least 1.5km in any direction...

Great breakfast. Not located in the center but it has got a big parking area on the other hand. Also close to EUMETSAT and ESOC.

Parking in front of the house. Something in the years come, only Wi-Fi, cable, Breakfast basic, and the bathroom worn rather schmuddlig (blood stains next to the mirror and stains on the tile, the carpet stained and the chair. Service very friendly and good. On the Homepage advertised massage chair is no longer available.

It is okay to drink a beer and eat something. From my former stays I know that the rooms are small but everything is tidy.

Plus: Good Breakfast, good lunch, good staff, purpose built training rooms mediocre: the room and bathroom minus: no free Wi-Fi I was already at least 60 Times (three to five days) in the CTH Darmstadt (coach for the Telekom) and am satisfied. The price seems to me now, but Alternatives in Darmstadt, Germany, there are hardly any.

Convenient, nearby train station. 30mins away from Frankfurt airport. 3 stops away from Darmstadt town.

The location is great and near the train terminal. Love booking this location because the staff is always so nice. The rooms are kind of small but definitely worth what you pay.

Stayed here for the night during the weekend after the conference. Hotel is average, with small but clean deluxe rooms, sleed quality was fine, but room was stuffy, so needed some fresh air. Breakfast was also ok, wi-fi speedy.

I appreciate this hotel every time I stay here. It has a quiet elegance that I enjoy. My room was in the Jagdschloss itself, and it was beautiful and comfortable. The bed was wonderful and I appreciated the selection of pillows. I especially loved the nearby forest and lake, and the walking trails. I plan to return to the Jagdschloss Kranichstein and I recommend it to others.

Perfect weekend getaway for couples. Magnificent royal hunting lodge turned museum and hotel. Quiet at night. Never crowded. Definitely eat at the Kavalierbau Restaurant on the grounds: rich selection of seasonal foods including lots of game and vegetarian options. All were delicious. Limited but good wine options.

It's better than I thought. Close to the train station. My room faced the tracks but there was not much train noise. Decent size room and good shower. Service was good. They also gave me a public transport ticket when I asked. The only thing was the pillow was too thin and provided no support.

Functional rather than luxurious hotel. Large rooms, if somewhat basically furnished. Comfortable beds. Very quiet location. Powerful hot shower, warm throughout and thick fluffy towels. Very large, clean rooms. The Breakfast is OK but unfortunately the Hotel is very far from Darmstadt, Germany (50 meters further on, the border of the city) is in the vicinity is a bus stop, a car is recommended. Next to the Hotel, a mosque is being built or is already built, i.e. at certain times of the Day it is noisy in the environment. All in all a good Hotel in a quiet environment.

First time I was at the hotel I got a normal room and everything was perfect. This time I was there for 3 day and got an upgrade for a very awesome apartment room. The rooms a like new and on the small one there was an XBOX and in the apartment the was a sauna. The breakfast is okay but far from the best and the location is pretty boring.

As always, clean and tidy. I've stayed there before and found it convenient and the price reasonable. It is surrounded by the Technical University of Damm, as well as a park and gardens.

Excellent hotel. Used the automated kiosk for late arrival and it worked fine. Had the top level room for 3 with separate sleeping rooms. It was air conditioned, very cute, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was wonderful including some American touches including scrambled eggs and bacon for a nice touch of home. The room is good. The hotel is being renovated so it is an inconvenience to stay there at the moment. The breakfast was very good. The receptionist who handled my check in at the next door hotel was very polite and professional. I don’t appreciate that some fire detectors at the hotel are covered for renovations, this is not safe.
