Great hotel on the beach front breakfast very good and plentiful. Staff very welcoming and friendly.

Great hotel, very friendly staff, great breakfast. We had a very nice and big room with a great bathroom. Everything is newly renovated. The location of the hotel is right on the waterfront. And the best dogs are allowed too. We will be happy to come back.

We always like to come back to the North Sea Hotel. The beds are very comfortable, the breakfast is rich and delicious, the staff is nice and of course the location is very good. In bad weather you have the possibility to make tea or coffee in your room or take a walk around the Friesenterme. The rooms with a view of the lake have binoculars so you have a good view of the seal beach.

Dear all, Perfect place to stay. Breakfast was like in the Haven. The only minus was the professionalism of Anna Schmidt.

Clean quaint rooms, super friendly staff, and great breakfast with just the right amount of selection, and you can't beat the free champagne offered in the mornings. Best location if you're not looking for beach view. This hotel is right in the middle of town. Quick walk to it all. It felt like home.

Very friendly welcome, we were offered a coffee on arrival. The room was very nice and modern. Kettle and a large TV was also available. The bathroom was great. All in all, everything was very clean. We also felt very comfortable in the breakfast room. Even on Sunday there was fresh bread from the bakery. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. We look forward to the next visit 🙂👍

The hotel is beautiful from the outside, and this continues in the spacious, bright interior. Breakfast is fantastic, especially the daily selection of fresh bread rolls 😀 Everyone in the service was exceptionally friendly, and our dog was very welcome. We will definitely be back!

We stayed there from October 19th to 23rd, 2025, and booked a double room at short notice. Check-in was friendly and quick. The room was a comfortable size, unfortunately carpeted (very clean), the bathroom was chic, and everything was very clean. The furnishings, colors, and wallpaper still have an 80s feel. The very large window let in plenty of light, unfortunately even at night, as the backyard...

A very nice hotel in a perfect location with very friendly and helpful staff. Our dog also loves coming back here. The hotel was renovated just two years ago, which further enhances its old-world charm. We were regular guests under the previous owner and will certainly continue to be.

We've stayed at many hotels on Borkum, but we absolutely love the Inselhof the best! The rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished. We've rarely slept so well in a bed; they're very comfortable. The breakfast is highly recommended; you get everything your heart desires. From freshly squeezed orange juice to equally freshly prepared egg dishes that don't come from a tetra pack. Many five-star hotels...

We had booked the guest house at the end of '24 (still Rias Beach House at that time) and arrived on April 24th, 2025...unfortunately we weren't happy with the bed, among other things...we complained about that at the reception in the Inselhof and within an hour the very nice receptionist had a room ready for us in the main building...the room was great and the breakfast buffet and the service staff...

A hotel with the charm of a bygone era, wrapped in a modern makeover – fantastic! I was thrilled. The rooms were lovely and spotlessly clean, the staff incredibly friendly, and the food excellent. And then there's the location, right on the beach – a dream! I'm going back in two weeks, but it certainly won't be the last time.

We booked a double room with a sea view at the Strandhotel Hohenzollern for a weekend. The location right on the beach and the view are fantastic, the furniture is modern, and the bed is very comfortable. Everything was clean. What we didn't like was the yellowed shower curtain and a broken toilet paper holder. The hairdryer was also tiring to use for extended periods. The food (restaurant and breakfast...

We were served very courteously and had a delicious dinner, although we weren't registered during Corona times, we got a place with a wonderful view of the sea. The food was fresh and tasty.

This was our second time in the hotel. The rooms have been renovated. It has become very cozy and beautiful. Breakfast at the buffet rich and tasty. The staff tried very hard. There was even an apple pie for my wife's birthday. We have already booked for 2022.
