Be aware if eating in the Italian Restaurant on the corner . The price you pay may not be the same price as was indicated on the menu. Keep the original menu on the table for reference as they have 2 different menus with prices inflated on the other one.

Great location, but the hotel used to allow smoking, and it still smells of cigarettes. Fortunately, the LOOKEN hotel next door is managed by the same staff, and they upgraded us to a much better room (for an additional cost).

Very near to bahnhof. Near the city centre. The rooms are good but could be Better. The breakfast is awesome with a lot of options to try

The staff was friendly. The rooms were spacious and the breakfast was very extensive and tasty.

The hotel looks really old inside especially the reception area looks like from a 70 s movie.
But the rooms are very well supplied and I didn't feel anything lacking.
The breakfast is at the nearby Looken in and it is simply amazing, I was overwhelmed at the diversity of food that they had at the buffet, everything of great quality, I would say it is worth to stay at this hotel just for the breakfast!

Rooms has not air condition, so not confortable in summer.
No frigobar, and not safety box.
Main ingress to the hotel is closed, so you have to access by the backdoor, where the Da Sandro's kitchen restaurant is setup. weird..

We had a good experience for one night at Parkhotel Lingen. It is an old hotel, worn looking around the edges. It smells musty like cigarette smoking ghosts of years past. But it was clean and comfortable. The price was reasonable and the location was perfect (across from the train station and a 2 minute walk to town). The hotel also features a sauna and an Italian restaurant downstairs. The hotel shares a reception and breakfast with the Looken Inn across the parking lot. The shared breakfast is phenomenal, way more than you’d expect from a hotel of this price range. If you are willing to spend a bit more, the Looken Inn appears shiny and modern and seems to have a much more neutral smell in the lobby. I believe both hotels are owned and managed by Ringhotel.

Nice hotel in the middle of the city, a bit hidden, difficult to find.
But worth the effort.
Very nice rooms, good gastronomy.
Booked bed and breakfast, everything was great (via Trivago) there is even a locked shelter for bikes.
Very friendly staff.
Visiting the old town is worth it 👍

Great location in the city, nice staff, room clean, simple and good. breakfast good. Had room above terrace restaurant, was quite noisy. Recommended for a short trip. Attention, not barrier-free, no elevator, access to rooms only via stairs.

We stayed in the Kolpinghaus for a weekend. My sister forgot a plant, which was her birthday present in the room. After we departed, we tried to contact the hotel on the same day to get the plant back, none picked up the phone.
The receptionist was extremely unhelpful to get the plant back. So in the end we found out that they had it thrown away. Direct Quote: "We arent a Warehouse!"
In general the beds werde horrible to sleep in, as they were so old and worn down. The breakfast for 6euros is a joke. There wasn't even some fruit. The lady who was on service on Sunday told us several times during breakfast, that we should speed up and that she would not top up the breakfast buffet anymore.
Never again in this terrible place with unfriendly staff.
