We have stayed in this hotel several times and it never fails to provide. Excellent accommodation, food and friendly staff

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Pool and Spa area is lovely. Close to everything. Recommend renting a bike so you can cover more of that beautiful area.

It was a very bad experience to sit next to a smoking couple , while we had our tasteful menu. Also, to our big surprise people could smoke around the pool. But the whole garden was filled with smoke

And our room was full of grill smoke, when we returned ,later in the evening

Beautiful hotel, clean and good restaurant. A little out of the way if you want to be near the main street, but not a problem if you have bikes.

The room was a good size and had a balcony and breakfast was good.

This is a very nice hotel, not downtown but close to the warerfront, where at around 5 pm you can see and listen to beautiful grey cranes. An indoor swimming pool and sauna is also available.

Due to the design, the lobby is a large hall into which an attempt has been made to incorporate some charm. The wellness area is spacious and not overcrowded even at peak times

We had half board and 5 course dinner every evening, starting with tasty buffet salads and cutlets, soap of the day, main course, dessert and very tasty cheeses. Good variation and everything very tasty and well cooked

You relieve a seated table for the diner which is good so that you know you always have that exact table available whenever you want to eat your dinner. The SPA is lovely with many treatments to choose from

We tried Floating, you lay in a big bath tub for two with water of 28% salt content (Mediterranean Sea 3,5% and the Dead Sea 29% salt content) so you cleat as a cork and every muscle relaxes for 45 min

Facilities are modern and fine decorated to give that special cosy atmosphere. Breakfast is high standard, with fine cutlets, salads, smoked fish, yoghurts, fresh fruits and fine selection of bread

Recommend! Poor broadband capacity in the local area in general also affecting WiFi in the hotel, service providers are looking into this with intention to have it fixed end 2019

Rooms were clean, excellent location, delicious breakfast, and quiet. Only annoying aspect was that you had to ask for the wifi password everyday. Everything is in close walking distance.

We had a very mixed experience here. We actually lived in the very nice Logierhaus Friedrich - and were "only" booked for breakfast here during the opening week of the famous Horizonte Zingst Photo Festival

Quite a few, as I may add, which is why my wife and I walk ten thousand steps per day, where- and whenever we can - and explore a lot of new exciting places - places you may oversee when just driving by

While I love to share my experience with others, I am sometimes shocked how people use their "power of word" to down-rate amazing places because of minor incidents (in my all time favourite restaurant Le Petit Four on Sunset Plaza in Los Angeles the owner was even called a racist as he refused to toast the (free) bread in his packed restaurant - they simply do not offer toasted bread, as no French...

" Did they speak to their service? How could the restaurant learn that something was wrong when patrons even have their leftovers boxed to take home? As a dog owner, I want to take the writer and shake him or her really bad and say "you give over-salted food to your dog? Anyone with a bit of brain understands this is a horrible idea

While the breakfast quality was generally very nice (could not match the one of the Steigenberger, but at €15 to €26 it would be comparing apples to oranges) the service was very inconsistent

We were greeted very nicely upon arrival. Breakfast was good and sufficient and not too crowded. The hotel is beautifully situated on the Bodden and it is not far to the center and to the beach

Very nice staff, rooms were clean and big enough, with a balcony. Breakfast was varied and daily with fish. Bicycles can be parked on a stand in the parking area (covered). It's not far to the beach either

A really great hotel! Very clean rooms, but the absolute highlight is the breakfast room. It is set up like a train station. A few places look like train compartments. Just beautiful! The hotel is definitely recommended!

The breakfast itself is completely fine, no outliers up or down - but the room itself makes it an experience! VERY sad that the in-house restaurant was closed - so this great location is "only" used as a breakfast room

This is not your usual Hotel! First, my room was seperated into two floors, wich made them small but comfortable. This is due to the fact, that the Hotel once was a storage-building for wheat

Beautiful, very quiet hotel. Excellent breakfast of the best quality. The extremely ugly grand hotel in the neighborhood is a nuisance. It is an eyesore for Ahrenshoop.

Most of all I liked breakfast sitting in a beach chair surrounded by fragrant flowers and the view of the Saaler Bodden. The very careful and friendly staff made every imaginable breakfast request possible

Every detail is right here in the hotel. Everything is inviting and very well-kept. Although we already enjoyed breakfast extensively, we couldn't resist the menu in the restaurant or the delicious cakes

Despite the current restrictions due to the pandemic, you don't feel any tension or any other service. Solutions have been found for all regulations that enable the guests maximum comfort and relaxation

But what is described is so enjoyable above all because we were warmly welcomed and looked after. Thank you for the wonderful holiday to everyone from the room fairy to the gardener to the boss

Solid sustainable interior design. You can tell that it has grown out of the place and that the atmosphere corresponds to the area. The owner is someone who is from there and who also has a love for this area.

GRAND Hotel in Ahrenshoop is amazing. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The food and drinks here are great too. The team is very friendly and professional. Excellent place to stay and dine

low cost in infrastructure to the hotel. as the €6 per hour is a rip off, we charged at the Kurverwaltung approx 700m away from the hotel for €5 in total energy. the hotel would have charged us €54 for the same outcome

perfect location at the beach separated by a road. they have text via email to address small issues like room service. imessage would be better as the system responds time is far greater

Awesome location, within mins of walking you have fine sand in your toes! Early July would be a good time to visit as doesn’t get that busy (other states didn’t start having summer vacation yet)

First time in my life I am complaining about „the youth“: swimming pool is supposed to be 16+ from 18:00 to 22:00. I do not mind this rule not being followed most of the time

It is very beautiful here, even after years we still go to this hotel. The service was very good from the owners. It is really great here because everything is in order and you are almost next to the beach

My familiy seem to be very happy with there choices for dinner, with wild rabbit, Duck, goose Salomon. We are good filled with the nice dishes so not every body taked a sweet end

My second course was some noodles with mushrooms in cream sauce. For my opinion to much sauce, but it tasted really good

The outside area is very nicely decorated, with beautiful flowers and comfortable chairs, the food has always been great, here you can choose from a regular menu and a children's menu, which also has great dishes

We couldn't find good food there (best to go on a car/bike to explore restaurants outside the hotel). The beach bar has tiny menu and closes at 6pm which is awful. After 8-9pm no chance to find good around

Good location (5 min to the sea), clean and calm beach, friwndly stuff. However overall its boring for young couples or groups. Best suited for elderly people and families with small kids

The dessert was the same each evening. Sport facilities were good and the swimming pool and sauna clean. Bike hire at the hotel was value for money. Some staff were very helpful others seemed over worked

No actual double bed, rather twin beds pushed together. Breakfast was really good, but no hot chocolate. The evening meal was a buffet- the salad was really good, but the hot dishes were just warm

There is an indoor Basketball court in the hotel 😱 the sauna was great, the beds are comfortable. The hotel‘s location close to the beach is very nice. The all you can eat dinner was good

Great hotel, super child friendly, location is hard to beat. Staff is friendly, food is good, and beach amazing. Rooms and facilities are very well maintained but will slowly start to show age.

Despite facing the same staffing issues most establishments face, the service is still top par. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Our waiter Denis each evening treated us like family

One example was leaving their pre teen children unattended at the pool, and worse, at the bar in the evening. We like that we can visit this hotel with family and friends with kids

The beach is great, and again, the staff who sort out your seating and serve snacks and drinks are pleasant. Sunsets are unbeatable! Prices reasonable

An adult should not have to wait 10 mins to order a drink at a bar in the evening, because a group of unattended 8 to 10 year olds have been dropped off in the bar unattended

Rating for the restaurant: Have been there many times and we are always very satisfied! Delicious food and always friendly staff. Even if we sometimes have special requests, they are fulfilled in the best possible way

The location in the city forest is great, in summer you can sit outside very nicely

The only drawback is that you have to wait a relatively long time for the food, but this is made up for by the friendliness and relaxed attitude of the service staff

There are 20 car places out back named for the guest, with a multi story car park above the train station 50 metres away (1 Euro/hr, 12 Euro/ 24 hrs). Very convenient walk to town, supermarket 150 metres away

A really very nice hotel in a so romantic town, Stralsund!

A beautiful historic building that has been renovated to give it a modern look, but the renovations haven't been convincing and are starting to show their age. The staff is friendly, but everything seems a bit clunky

Nice Hotel whit a Good location in the middle of the old city

We stayed in Stralsund during the pre-Christmas period and it was truly lovely. The hotel is in a fantastic central location and has been nicely modernized. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and delicious

The room had a few cosmetic flaws: the windows didn't close properly, the corners were dirty, and some of the walls were damaged and dirty. The staff seemed a bit unenthusiastic

The standard room was very small, while the slightly higher category offered plenty of space. The rooms were clean, and the mattresses were really comfortable

Rooms are a bit somber but perfectly equipped and cleaned. Beds are excellent and so is the bathroom. You can compose your own breakfast that will be carried to your table in- or outside, and appears to have no limits

This very friendly and good hotel is the best place to stay in Stralsund, which is a very interesting town with excellent places to eat and drink and lots to see

They also roast their own coffee which is excellent and are very understanding when English guests take the wrong floor on the lift for the sauna and walk through the lobby in towels :)

We had a big and nicely decorated apartment. The apartments are well located and the cleaning was good. I recommend staying here.

Huge, beautiful, tranquil room at the centre. Many restaurants nearby. Accepted dogs. Lovely breakfast at the main hotel.

Minus: burger place on the ground floor which leaves a constant smell of grease in the hallway (no smell in our 2nd floor room). Stairs are very steep so not recommend for people with mobility issues

Hotel staff was nice but no information/signs in English whatsoever (as if no foreigner ever visits Straslund). Overall: we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again

The location is excellent, right on the harbor island. You should definitely book the parking space with whom you are arriving in your own car

The apartment on the ground floor, directly across from the office, is unfortunately very badly soundproofed, not bad in itself, as it is a rather quiet location at the harbor, but rather unsuitable with a baby

But this is also due to the other residents of the holiday apartments, who are similar to the trample, so nothing that goes into the rating negatively. However, it could be a little more crockery and cutlery

For apartment 1: In my opinion not suitable for more than 2 people because the bedroom is a connecting room to the bathroom. The bedroom and the bathroom have no windows, which can be opened

In the bedroom, daylight comes in through glass blocks. A ventilation system is available. It was easy to hear the motor vehicles "rumbling" over the pavement

A lovingly run hotel with an excellent breakfast! It is lovingly covered with fresh flowers and the hall is unobtrusively decorated with local art! The staff is attentive and friendly! Everything is very clean! We felt right at home! The beach is close by and your own parking lot is guaranteed!

I can only say good things about this hotel. The hotel is in a great location! Just over the dune, then you are already on the beach. The bike path is also right by the house

However, we ate in the cozy restaurant there two days in a row: very tasty, good selection, reasonable portions, not too expensive and extremely friendly waitresses 😊

Whether bike rental or checking in, everything is straightforward. But I found the breakfast menu to be the best. So, if you still complain, you can no longer help!

The only sticking point: Some of the restaurant staff should learn that even if you don't fit into the overall picture of the regular guests, you are still a paying restaurant visitor!!! Even artificial friendliness doesn't help
