I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Godewind Hotel, and I simply must extend a heartfelt thank you to the incredible staff. From the moment I arrived, everyone ensured that I felt completely at home with their warm demeanour and genuine care. Every team member truly went the extra mile.

The experience was further enhanced by the food that was not only delicious but crafted to perfection. The beer was outstanding too: every sip was a testament to the hotel’s commitment to quality and attention to the little details that make a stay memorable.

Beautiful hotel in a quiet wooded space. Grocery and restaurants nearby. The hotel restaurant was superb!

We are staying at the Godewind again and as always we are very satisfied. The service is great, the breakfast buffet is very appealing and delicious. All in all a very nice, relaxing holiday.

Customer service and empathy is not the rule here. I had a reservation and on my way there I had an emergency, I called from the veterinary hospital crying asking for an exception with the intention to pay a fee but not for the total stay. I understand the policies and rules, but also I understand customer service and human kind. The lady on the phone could try to offer to switch dates, create a voucher whatever to keep the customer coming in some point, but obviously, business forward thinking is not there. ✌🏽 thanks for nothing

The size and furnishings of our comfort room left nothing to be desired. Breakfast is always a highlight and in the evenings there is something for everyone on the small but fine menu. We missed the beef and burgers, though. The staff, both long-serving and new, were equally friendly and personable.

Nice hotel, but breakfast is cleared away 15 minutes before it ends, the fire door right next to our room (206) was broken and slammed shut and the staff knew about the problem but did not feel responsible for it or our complaint.

Rented a family apartment which for a couple was a great space to return to after a long relaxing day at the beach or traveling around rostock. Very quiet

Overall a nice hotel.
They allow dogs, which is great, but only in the eco rooms downstairs.
They also have an electric car charger and vegan items on the menu.
The swimming pool is nice and the rooms clean. You can easily walk to the beach.
Only downside: the vegan food tasted blend. When we talked to thr waiter about it, he just laughed and pointed at the salt on the table.
At breakfast we got some soymilk, but vegan yoghurt options would have been great. (we also got in touch with the hotel about breakfast, and they said 'we have fruits and veggies' when asked about vegan options.)
