Where to stay in Konigswinter

I can only recommend. Staff very attentive and friendly, always ready, to support. . Rooms spacious and very comfortable. Spa and pool very nice. Building is a historic building, renovated, very beautiful. Gardens also very nice.

Fantastic location for this hotel. Rooms are very spacious and nice. Breakfast is excellent a wide selection of al kinds of food. The staff at the frontdesk are very helpful. The staff at the restaurant and the breakfast buffet definitely are in need of more professional guidance. One waiter spilled gravy on my trousers and my wife’s jacket. The supervisor directly took care of the matter and dry cleaning...

The hotel is just Splendid! I am staying there already 3 year on Christmas (which is also my birthday)and I am having really a great experience each time! Breakfast is delicious and diverse, dinner in Bill‘s is also a treat every time. So I will be back again 100% and I really can highly recommend the hotel!

This is one of the most nicest hotel ever , its 5 ⭐️ and still quiet and beautiful!! Service amazing and the view even better!!! Total yes

Great hotel, kind people, good food and a wonderfull view!

Starting from Frankfurt, I drove 158 kilometers and finally arrived at the Seven Peaks Mountain in Konigswinter, the suburb of Bonn, the capital of West Germany. I took a slow walk along the mountain road and overlooked the "Dragon Castle" that witnessed German history and the most beautiful section of the Rhine Valley! Fortunately, I was able to book the century-old Steinberg Grand View Hotel located...

Excellent experience. Great rooms, good service and a bar where you can comfortably relax. Also, a really luxurious breakfast that I would recommend to everyone! Location is great next to the Rhine and also allows you to visit the nearby castle+ruins on foot. In terms of service: I managed to forget an important item in my room safe. They responded quickly and within 3 days the item was delivered...

Very nice hotel with great views of the river and with very nice amenities.

Its good location if u want to hike, hotel is clean, staff is nice, but the male receptionist wears a supporting Isaral symbol on his suit which is quiet strange. U can show ur political vision after work, as a hotel guest, I don't want to see u choose a side and support the war.

We were in a group tour so it was not our choice. We were supposed to get a queen bed. We were provided with 2 separate single beds, very firm and uncomfortable. No use complaining, it was booked days before so no excuse. At least the room was clean. The TV had no Netflix and no way to change the language nor cast my phone to it.

A good hotel with excelent service. Beatiful location. Good breakfast.

Great hotel, great staff, nice breakfast, highly recommended for holiday travel

Very courteous réception member. A tall blond gentleman, he was very knowledgeable and helpful! I hope to come back with my wife.

One of the best hotel I have ever stay. Great view when you wake up,

Really pretty hotel. Great location- right next to the Rhine and nice and quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Will stay here again

Very nice quiet place. View from the balcony is lovely. High standards of the room. Kind and helpful crew. Worth to visit. Danke dir ☺️

Situated on the banks of the Rhine, this traditional hotel comes equipped with all the amenities you'd expect from a 4-star establishment. I was fortunate to have a room that boasted a stunning view of the river, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Typically, I'm not one to dine in the restaurants of hotels I'm staying at, but I was pleasantly surprised by theirs. The menu was straightforward yet...

Very pittoresque hotel. However, compared to 5yrs ago, I find standards dropped, especially in staff, which is a shame as rooms are of a good size and the location is excellent. Attention should be paid to curtains, there should still be some complimentary stuff in the bathroom and there should be the good night sweet on the beds. This can make the difference. As flooring is wearing off maybe an investment...

A really nice hotel located on a mountain, which gives you a nice view over the city. Friendly staff, the breakfast and dinner are really good here. There are also some nice walking trails you can do, if you're visiting this hotel and other things you can visit that are close by.

Good breakfast, simple comfortable rooms and great location with nearby trails and activities. The only thing was that the advertised E-Bikes were out of service. I would be happy to return

Rooms - Very nice, however feel pretty simple and some are small. Spent 2 nights and it was pretty comfy. It does sort of feel like a school trip place and is somewhere to spend the night rather than the whole day. They do advertise there being many activities around however all the buildings were shut. Service - The staff very pretty nice when we arrived however they did leave a small pack of sweets...

Very pleased with our stay at this hotel. Very friendly (also speaking a very good English!) staff, an excellent location and a spectacular view. The breakfast was very good, and the parking was very convenient.

The view was great, and I had a comfortable stay. The breakfast was delicious too. I think it's the perfect hotel for hiking.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel! The room may be on the smaller, cozy side, but it’s spotlessly clean and the bed is wonderfully comfy. The reception team is fantastic—really warm and welcoming—and the whole experience is great value for money. I’ll definitely be returning on my next visits!

Super clean. Amazing and wanted to stay longer

Great hotel Excellent service, helpful. Bvery clean. Perfect location.

It was not unique but it was near to a lot of possibilities. Parking was a search for the beginning, but very nice and safe. not our second choice because we like more landscape

Staff was great. Room was clean. Train station, bus stop and subway were opposite the hotel, which made it easy to get around. Good restaurants close by as well.

The staff were very helpful. Good breakfast . Coffee in the rooms was difficult to do work out and no milk.

Quiet quality stay in the middle of nice shopping and food area and also close to public transport for Bonn

Rooms are super comfy, they have an excellent training room, and the breakfast buffet is delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone stopping by bonn, both for long and short stays!

Newly renovated room, very large and new shower. Superb breakfast buffet on Sunday, everything fresh, great selection. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Good location, quiet. Right next to the spa park, not far from the Rhine riverbank, great for a morning workout.

If you're looking for a cozy, relaxing, stress-free, and laid-back experience, then book here! It's worth it!

The Insel Hotel was, as always (this is not the first or my last stay there), friendly, clean and comfortable table. The hotel is centrally located in the Bad Godesberg neighborhood of Bonn near the rail station. The breakfast is great.

Breakfast was delicious and the best we had while touring Central Europe. Since we started our vacation in this area, we guessed it would be hard to beat during the rest of our trip. We were right. This hotel has one of the best breakfasts. The hotel was very clean and our room was nice. The restaurants, etc. outside the hotel were okay, and the location is convenient to Bonn and Koblenz (where...

Very clean, helpful staff, easy check in, good parking. Lots to do in the area and a local McDs. Only issue is we got a different room then we booked.

Cheap hotel to crash in for a night on the road. Big plus for electric charger

Staff, spoke english very well and was super helpful.

Nice comfy bed clean bathroom it was a great sleep exactly what I needed

It's a budget hotel. Breakfast not great but nice clean room, helpful staff.

Does exactly what is says on the tin... Location is good if you are on the motorway, there are a couple of restaurants within walking distance. Room is basic but comfortable. Nice breakfast. and the price as expected, very reasonable

The rooms are clean generaly but won't be cleaned unless you ask. They won't even make the bed until you ask at the reception. The room was a bit small especially the shower. It's hard to shower without hitting the tap, it's such a tight space. I was there for two weeks and they served the SAME food for breakfast everyday for TWO WEEKS! By day 4 I was nauseous I could only take a cappuccino and head...

Stay at hotel Zum Adler September 2026 Quiet stay. Nothing to complain about. Hotel clean and service to expectation

The attendant apon our arrival managed to send us to regular room when we had booked and paid for an air conditioned one. He was distracted by the situation outside as well as his duties with a training employee.

Little tiny GEM near Bonn area Friendly and heartwarmIng. HavIng a history but well maintained. Bathroom is totally refurbished.

It used to be home to diplomats working in Bonn. Now, feels like muslim town, lots of Arab shops and restaurants. But to be fair, we had the best street food there. No good sitting restaurants around. Hotel staff was not very helpful. AC was not working. Need to climb some stairs with luggage to get to the reception.

The elevator service is not good especially at the hotel entrance

Very good hotel, warm welcome, perfect location, breakfast very nice and interesting, maybe air conditioning is needed for hot days.

Great hotel in Koenigswinter. The best part is the excellent service by the proprietor and his staff. He takes the time to make sure all his guests receive the best personalized service. Highly recommended!!

Very clean room and connivance location , close to station , river , shop and restaurants, easy communication with hotel and quick responsive , reasonable price,

Perfect Hotel is simply perfect. The room, the location, the owner/manager.

I booked the hotel for my parents so I don't have a first hand experience. But nevertheless I had to write a review! My parents loved the place, rooms, location and the breakfast. My special thanks go to Herrn Rosenbaum who went above and beyond to make sure my parents had a wonderful stay! Customer service you don't find in Germany very often.

We were met at the property by the owner who made our stay even more memorable. Everything about the property was excellent. We will return if we are anywhere nearby in the future.

The best restaurant in the area. Excellent steaks. Very friendly service. Always worth a visit!

Pricey but fantastic steaks. As an alternative, the ribs are reasonably priced. Cosy biergarten outside. Beautiful location but not much of a view.

Location is very quiet, you can find a parking spot nearby. Serving, we didn’t have time to eat, but we had coffee, and they were very nice. Rooms are clean, and that’s what matters most. Based on the price, 5 stars is the only answer. Reception was very friendly & spoke english. If I ever come in Bonn again, this is the place to go.

Hi we stay for one night on 26th September. Well lit room nice bathroom everything for our needs. Super be area quiet and not far from town. Friendly at reception. Also good was good price for stay just 73€ and pet friendly. We saved this place for next trip definitely we come again. Highly recommend. Thank you Mārcis

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and the staff is very friendly. We can also recommend the breakfast à la carte, with plenty of options. The hotel is located in a nice and quiet area near Bad Godesberg and Bonn. Very comfortable and cozy!

I had an excellent experience mostly with the hotel, but once in the restaurant (both are dog friendly). I was lucky enough (and very grateful) to be upgraded to one of the rooms in their adjacent, newer building (just across the road). Entry to this building is secure and can only be accessed by your room's keycard (which also allows access to the reception area in the older building). This new building...

Wonderful hotel in a secluded location. Excellent communication with the staff. Clean room with a comfortable bed. My room was on the 3rd floor with a beautiful view of the mountains. Having an elevator was very helpful. Excellent breakfast. But I highly recommend stopping by for dinner as well. I ordered the « "Schmorbraten "Braumeister Art" vom Schweinenacken, zart mit Apfelrotkohl und Kartoffelkl...

Very nice hotel not far from the city center of Bad Godesberg, rooms are pretty quiet and you barely hear something coming from the outside of the room, the room is pretty nice with some commodities like a minibar and breakfast in the room, somehow the room look a bit worn out and the bathroom is a bit outdated especially the noisy ventilation is pretty annoying, the room is pretty clean even though...

We ate at the restaurant when we were at Bonn. The food was amazing and the hostess was great and very friendly.

The hotel is good. Rooms are modest,... ensure you talk to the hotel to get details on how to get in, just in case no one is at the reception and the phone for some reason goes unanswered. The owner and staff are really friendly and they allow an early check in and late check great place to stay if in Bonn- Bad Godesburg. The restaurant downstairs is separate from the hotel. Be sure to make a reservation...

Good restaurant with very good service, you should enjoy the food menu they sell... I really like the pasta they served...

Friendly, comfortable, and excellent food! My husband and I don't speak German, so we were a bit concerned about reading the chalkboard menu. But the very friendly staff read the menu to us and provided excellent suggestions. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the wine recommendation, and the food!

Just visited the restaurant and bar. Delicious meals: prawn and chicken salad c baked potatoes and mushroom €52; black pudding, mashed potato and apple sauce €14. Relaxed friendly ambience of verandah dining spoilt by pretty constant noise from the bus and train station opposite.

Very friendly family hotel, conveniently located in the center of Bad-Godesberg. Spacious & very clean rooms, and a nice breakfast! If you are on a business trip in the area, or simply taking a time-out in the greater Bonn area, I would absolutely recommend!

New and stylish hotel, near to the train station, free parking spot in 5 min walk Would book again.

Spacious, light and clean! I will return! We absolutely loved it here! Pictures on website don’t do it justice. It’s intentionally retro and attention to detail in rooms and communal areas makes it special. Our room was spacious, clean and lots of light. We had travelled around Germany before getting here and this was definitely my favourite place to stay. Downstairs there was a huge big lounge where...

Quirky ,back packery feel, fun and funky.

Great hotel. Great hotel, close to train station. Complimentary coffee available in the lounge. Our room was cold on arrival, which was rectified immediately by reception. Quiet authentic little village a short distance from the main town of Bonn.

The hotel is delightfully quirky & fun. It was great to be able to get tea & coffee at any time. The breakfast was lovely, loved the muesli bar!!

Best location. Decoration is very fashion that the room feels larger than the actual size.

Wonderful hotel!! Great location, could walk to parks and the Rhein. Clean, well appointed room. Easy remote registration. Beautiful location.

My husband and I have just spent two nights in this hotel, which we can strongly recommend. The room had everything we needed, very clean, with tea/coffee making facilities. A good breakfast and very helpful staff. Parking was no problem.

I stayed at Boutiquehotel Dreesen for three days during a class reunion trip, and it truly impressed me. Housed in a beautiful historic villa in a quiet neighborhood, the hotel is ideally situated—just a short walk from the Rhein and the heart of Bad Godesberg. The serene location felt like a retreat but was still super accessible. The staff were wonderfully warm and helpful, and check-in was smooth...

First of all I want to highlight the two fantastic parts of our stay. The hotel receptionist (did not capture her name sorry), was super friendly could not do enough to help us and keep us informed and spoke impeccable English. She made this a 3 star review rather than 2 star. Secondly the breakfast was really nice, the outside terrace is a great place to sit down, the coffee and English breakfast...

A great choice if you are in Bonn A lovely and friendly hotel. In a beautiful neighbourhood with easy access to the Rhine and restaurants. Nice walking possibilities. Easy transportation to city. Easy parking. Everything was great. Only flaw was that the first room we were offered was different from the one on our booking. With a little diplomacy and insistence we were given the room that appears...

The hotel's service attitude is warm and courteous, the rooms are clean and hygienic, and the breakfast is rich and delicious. There are several free parking spaces at the door.

Good food. The place is a bit cramped though.

Service is poor, food semi-OK (burgers come with a prefabricated supermarket paddy rather than freshly made, ribs were tough rather than tender) but the place is very lively and the atmosphere good. I'd come back for a few drinks. Payment by credit card no problem

The food was magnificent. If you want to eat a nice meal in a comfy environment, this is the place.

Food was decent, service was very poor. Ambience was pretty good. Try the outside tables.
