It is actually a real hotel with a lobby and a swimming pool (it is best not to go there), which is rare in Germany, although it is very old.

Stay was pretty good but reception staff at night was pretty rude 😞. Like you are not native they will not talk to you in a good manner. I would always prefer maritim Bonn.

Really enjoyed our one night staycation there. Got updated rooms and had really nice and calming view there. Our son and parents really enjoyed staying there. Nice, fast and friendly services which sometime I did not get from 5 stars hotel. They deserve 5 stars services. Keep ur quality!!! Really recommend!

A room with a terrace only makes sense if you plan to sunbathe — there’s just one lounge chair. Smoking is not allowed, and to enjoy the view, you have to stand at the edge — once you sit, the view disappears. If the view is important to you, it’s better to choose a river-facing room. I had a nice stay in this hotel last week on my business trip to Bonn. The location is a little bit outside of the city but still reachable very good by car. So it is very quiet and a good location to relax from the daily stress. The rooms and ambiente are luxurious, clean and the personal is very friendly.

Our 2nd time back because we loved it the first time. The rooms are mid century modern and darling. The bed and pillows are comfortable and the rooms are very very clean. If you are disabled it’s a bit challenging to get up into the shower and the hotel has stairs to the elevator on one side. Great location if you want some peace and quiet and love nature. It's away from the buzz of the city center, and there's a bus stop not far from the hotel entrance... Service was great and they even sent my invoice to the room which I very much appreciated. I wish more water was given in the rooms though. 😊

Never rent room 216! It is above the kitchen. At 5 o'clock in the morning the clatter of dishes begins. All day long the equipment and dishes rattle loudly, it seems that repairs are underway. There is a restaurant and a children's playground under the windows.

Not the fault of the facilities, it just didn't meet my short term needs. If someone is looking for an extended stay, it might better suit those requirements

It was not very easy to find due to the name not being what expected it to so that was a bit confusing. Otherwise the the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also very good! Add bacon and it would have 5 points on all accounts. That being said, I would highly recommend it.

At night you can enjoy a free drink while soaking in the view of the river. The breakfast area has some stairs so be prepared to walk up and down to get your food in the morning.

Very clean. Located in a residential area near the river. The nearest transportation station is 1 kilometer away, so it's not ideal for those traveling by bus with luggage. A minor drawback is that there's only one receptionist at the front desk, so the line can be long when it's busy. The bed was a bit hard, and the pillows weren't high enough.

It’s not a perfect hotel but offers a a perfect price/value ratio. My room was very clean and seemed to be recently renovated. The receptionist was very professional and kind as well. Location is very central, near main train station and also the city center with many cafes and restaurants.

Very attentive and helpful staff! Nicely located in the heart of the old town. The tram might not be so pleasant for noise-sensitive guests. Loading and unloading luggage is a bit tricky, but the staff is very helpful. The price-performance ratio is perfectly fine.

The hotel was originally a small palace, or perhaps an annex to the Bonn Palace, now the main building of the University of Bonn. Therefore, its interior is quite luxurious, and its location on the Rhine River, near an old fort, offers beautiful scenery. A minor drawback is that there are steps leading from the garage to the reception desk; the elevator doesn't go directly there.

Four pleasant nights. While the room didn't have a river view, it faced the sun, and the aroma of fruit trees wafted through the window. The breakfast napkins were starched, and the guests, seemingly mid-level or above from businesses, had excellent dining manners. The cleaning staff was very friendly and excellent! The elevator had a vintage feel, making the ride unique and enjoyable.

We had a very pleasant experience staying at the President Hotel in Bonn. Its in a central location with a lively street full of restaurants and bars, though you dont hear this at all when trying to sleep due to the soundproof windows. Breakfast was nice. Parking spaces are quite tight though so if you have a big car then be aware of this, it fits but its quite narrow.

The biggest issue with the place is it's position over a 4 lane motorway. This means the views are spectacular and one cannot really open a window for all the noise. Mind you, the beds are nice the room is clean and the show pressure is fantastic. An all together great hotel once you are in and shut the window.

Bonn has a different interpretation of the stars. This is in note way shape or firm a 4 star hotel in any other city in the world. But for Bonn it's OK. Breakfast is the best thing about the hotel. And the area it is in. The rooms are 2 star at best. Looks like a student dormitory at best

No cleaning in 4 nights still using key for the room

The hotel is located in the very center of the city. The airport bus stops 100 meters from the hotel. The room was clean, and the heating worked well in November, making it warm. The hotel building itself dates back to 1620, which adds a special charm.

The room was a very classic European-style little room, but it only had a fan. However, most rooms in Germany are like this. It's quite nice to stay a few nights in a small town. The sunset and the ice cream across from the hotel were delicious.

The hotel was clean and well located. Good breakfast. We informed them that we were traveling with our 3-year-old daughter, and yet they assigned us a room with twin beds, even though they said at check-in that there was nothing they could do. The room is small but clean. It smelled strongly of food because there was a Subway right across the street, and the kitchen must have been next to the room...
