Great stay in this vintage hotel. I liked a lot the amenities and the staff was kind.

The only thing I can think of that was not so great. Was that in room 246 the soap dispenser in the shower was not mounted to te wall correct, sort of "dangeling" in one screw. That could result in water damage in the future.

The hotel was chosen because we wanted a hotel in Mettmann where were visiting friends. The good thing is 24 hour service and enough parking space free of charge. People were very friendly. Currently staying, beddings and towels are extremely clean. You could find what ever you need in the room without unnecessary luxurious details. Breakfast has more than enough options.Great value. Friendly service.

Really good food! The beef and the sushi were amazing. Spacious room, nice grounds, and fresh air. Loved the cat and bird houses. Very cute!

Stayed for 2 nights, i discovered the room cleaning was not provided by the hotel, but only upon request, and needed to be asked, never happened in hotel of that level, nobody told me that at the check in. Remained 2 days without it cleaned. No coffee machine and water boiler in the room. Very strange for a 300 euro per night hotel room. At the check out they did not even apologize for that issue.

Majority of rooms were good and confortable. Buffet dinners and breakfasts were excellent Service was kind and friendly Wine selection was rather basic

I went 2 days for my birthday, the hotel so clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed the food but the main issue wad the timing for wellness and spa was the same time as dinner from 18:00 but everything else was perfect

I was very pleasantly surprised by the smash burgers! I've been searching for good burgers for years, and I'd also eaten here before, so they definitely changed the recipe or did something, because the burger is incredibly delicious! The bun is as spongy as it should be, the meat, well, everything! The best burger I've had in all of Germany. If you're familiar with US burgers, then I definitely recommend...

Magnificent burgers and french fries. You must taste the Ceasar Salad! Highly recommended!

This is for the restaurant. It was Sunday breakfast buffet. A little pricey but if you are a big eater it's worth it. Lunch menu looks interesting with lots of vegetarian options.

The service was fast but not that friendly. The amount of drinks offered on the card is very wide. The garlic bread was hard baked bread with garlic mayonnaise on top and underneath it. Certainly not to be recommended. The ribs and chicken wings were delicious and very well baked and seasoned. The cuisson of the steak was not done correctly. We had a very pleasant 3 night stay in Hotel Alberga. Everything from check-in to check-out was excellent. Our room was large with desk and chairs for work. The shower was the best we've ever had - great pressure and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was excellent with great choice of cereal, fruit, cheese and freshly cooked eggs. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The welcome was professional and helpful. Very clean and spacious room which I could easily darken with blinds during the summer night. The floor in the room are tiles (which are much more hygienic than carpet)! My room was to the back of the building and very quiet through the night. Good shower cabin with thermostate water tap. The parking is in the deep garage with direct access to the hotel...

The location is really far away. It takes more than 30 minutes to drive to Dusseldorf and more than an hour to drive back during the morning rush hour. The parking lot under the hotel is 12.5 euros per night. The facilities are quite old, but fortunately they are relatively clean and there is plenty of hot water for bathing.

I have stayed at this hotel with my father and partner many times before. A small and cosy hotel with a super friendly team. Across the road from the best pub in Mattmann, Tibtap. With parking underground and discounted when staying at the property, there is no other place I would stay when visiting Mettmann Or Düsseldorf. With easy and direct access to busses and trains you can make your way around...

Great personnel, super friendly. Slightly outdated decor but well maintained. We don't recommend the restaurant linked to the hotel because of poor maintanence but they do serve large food portions and their staff is kind.

Clean, friendly staff, not so far from Dusseldorf, quiet area, good chinesse restaurant in the hotel, fair price. In total: excellent price/value ratio !!!

Extremely clean room, good service and a really nice breakfast

The room was very spacious, and functional. The warm water in the shower was not stable. The heater kept switching on and off which resulted in too hot or too cold water.

Rooms at first look amazing, but it was very cold in basement rooms and the heater didnt want to start running. People passing by can see in your room from the streets. Workers at reception are not always there.

Very spacious and clean room, easy and free parking and internet. Good breakfast. Walking distance to center for bars, restaurants and supermarket. Friendly personnel. All for good price.

We were one night in the Hotel and we are very satisfied. The room was spacious and very clean, with laminate instead of a dusty carpet, very friendly staff, rich buffet breakfasts, and a price/performance ratio, you can see the difference. We recommend the Hotel on each case, and at the next visit to Mettmann, we already know where we will stay again...!

Great place to stay Wonderful apartment, with plenty of space for my family. The decoration is gorgeous, the kitchen and bathrooms are super comfortable and the location was great for our trip.

All good, apart from no direct phone communication and difficult to locate flat number. No Flat number is mentioned on the Ground floor flat.Received many emails instructions which confused, best is simple to send Key box code number and Nuki code number .

We were very surprised by the superb design of the facility. We would book again at any time and hope that the owners will ensure that all guests treat the facility with care.

The food was fantastic, a huge compliment to the sauces, they were just awesome, you can taste that the sauces are freshly made by us, since I'm a trained chef myself, I taste something like that immediately. The portions are made for real men, finally men get something for their money. The service was very courteous, friendly and always on the ball. Price-performance ratio is absolutely justified...

Hotel is very cozy, has a free parking and the owners are very kind and helpful. The view from the rooms to the garden is fantastic.

Friendly and helpful owner. Hotel is some 10 minutes from Dusseldorf. Expect traffic jams on the highway in the morning.
