The room facilities were good, and the front desk service was quite attentive. It's very close and convenient to the airport, with taxis right outside. However, there were some cleanliness issues with the bathroom floor.

Just an avarage airport hotel. Rooms are clean, big but slightly outdated (but wellmaintained). Nothing in the surroundings, you have to take the airport shuttle to airport. Subway tram into town is 25 mins walk. Decent hotel if price is good.

Good hotel, everything was clean and nice. Bed was very comfortable for me. Staff was great. Only thing that bothered me was that the breakfast was amazing on the first morning of my stay, but then a bit disappointing after - a staple like bacon was missing, there was no fried eggs, and I highly preferred the potato croquettes over the potato wedges.

Road trip stop off Good rooms, really clean, comfortable beds. Great place to stay if you have a car, as parking was free, but not much around if you don't have a car. Location, cleanliness, service and facilities is good

On that day I arrived late due to aj incident with the car. The staff was incredibly kind, helpful and the room and location, super convenient for a very early trip from the Airport. My goto airport for these kind of trips from now on.

The Hotel is located near the airport. anyway for walking it is a bit too far, so I would recommend to take a cab. Price was about 15 Euros from the airport. I found the location of the hotel to the airport to be excellent. It was about a 15 minute walk via a sidewalk trail that went up to the train station rails and then I could just go straight up to the airport. The room was very clean. I was looking forward to the spa, but unfortunately there was no hot water. The hotel itself is very clean, and the location and transportation options are not bad. It is a great hotel to stay overnight when you have a flight to/from Düsseldorf. The hotel has a great park sleep and fly arrangement. Unfortunately upon arrival (around dinner time) the restaurant was closed so it was no longer possible to get something to eat. Forced to go to the McDonald's across the road.

Very nice hotel and perfectly located on my drive between the UK and Poland. Very well organised, large rooms with comfortable beds. Spotlessly clean. Safe and quiet carpark at the back. Slept very well and could continue on my journey the next morning. Great price for a quick stopover. I will definitely keep coming back.

We stopped across the street to charge our car this morning. Instead of waiting in our car the staff of the Mercure Hotel welcomed us in their lobby. This was a very friendly and pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend to stay!

Good price for what you got. 👍👌 Hotel has sauna, but from three sauna rooms only one works. Rooms and hotel in general looks outdated - like from nineties. 😀 Meals for breakfast and dinner are great. Next time, I will propably stay in Dusseldorf. In Ratingen is nothing to do during evening, and the city itself is not very nice for sightseeing.

Kind of far from everything that I do want to visit in Dusseldorf (about 45ish mins away) and also they gave us no complimentary coffee or even water! But otherwise it was clean and nice and the room even came with a bathtub

The hotel is very quiet, even though it is close to the airport. The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious, everything is a bit dated. But we felt comfortable. Breakfast was included in the hotel price and a great buffet awaited us in the morning, very good attentive service for coffee, etc. The rolls were actually crispy. We would gladly go back!

Staff members were very helpful. The room was small but very comfortable, clean. The hotel was a reasonable distance from the airport. The day I checked out I asked if I could leave my car a little longer in their garage as I wished to take a walk around the town and it was absolutely no problem. I stayed here for just a few hours before an early morning flight out of Dusseldorf airport. I chose it due to it being near the airport. The room was clean and comfortable, but small, but that's all I needed. Check in was easy. There is limited parking, and the underground garage is quite tight to get in/out.

The rooms could have a bit cleaner - mainly talking about the floor. The shower and the bed furniture seems quite run down and broken. Location - I had a room to the back and did not hear any noise. Also its quite central and easy access to anything you might need!

The rooms are nice and clean. But it lacks a lot of amenities you will get in other hotels. Comparing it with other four points hotels i have stayed in europe, even the basic facilities are not being provided. No toiletries except body,handwash, no iron , no water bottles, coffee/tea, no kettle.

Yes, suitable for business living

I always felt the exhaust fan in the bathroom was making noises. Although it was very quiet, it always affected my rest. Fortunately, I was too tired, so I fell asleep while lying down. At the same time, there was a lamp in the middle of the bed, so it was easy to hit my head.

You can't find a Speck of Dust in the whole place. The most comfortable bed and pillows. The staff very polite, kind and attentive. The automat in the lobby has drinks at a fair price. Perfectly fine My stay in Ratingen was perfectly fine. I have no complaints. The taxi to the airport is expensive and there's a €5 additional drop off charge so that should be taken into account, when "saving" money on accommodation near the airport.

Last minute The hotel was a last minute decision due to leaving another property that was of an unexpected lower standard. My only criticisms are the lack of a safe in my room , one of the socket outlets by the tv was insecure( plenty of others available so not an issue), and was unable to use the bath provided, but the shower was great

Easy access and check in. Close to the center of Ratingen. Calm area. Room could be cleaner, quite some dust and web around the bed, especially near the head which is not so nice. Also insect in the room because windows were open, I think for quite some time without anyone using the room. Shower was impossible to change temperature. It is an ok hotel but better a different room than on ground floor

Well it is a hotel. You can see that it's best time are gone. Problem is the rooms, no air con. And the smell from sewage. This is second time I am at this hotel. Thought first was a bad luck but different room, same issue. Breakfast is OK. Nothing special. Picked one this due to how close to the office it is. But next time I might look for something bit far away but better quality.

Basic, like most Ibis Budget hotels. Good if you just need a night’s sleep to continue your journey. As man others mentioned you need a car. Nothing found around. However we were impressed by the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff.

The hotel is very simply furnished and unfortunately a little old. The room was clean. But the ventilation was very loud. It couldn't be turned off or regulated. The proximity to the airport and the motorway is OK for business trips with one or two overnight stays. Check-in via machine - but without a receipt. This was only available the next morning at reception.

I felt very comfortable there. The rooms are large and air-conditioned. Everything is VERY clean. Free parking right outside. Lovely garden. The only minor criticism is the somewhat automated hotel feel, as I didn't see anyone at reception during my two-day stay. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this hotel.

Lots of transport options within a few mins including a train station that is one stop from the airport. Some pubs etc next door plus a bar onsite.

A good budget hotel near the airport. Also local Rheinbahn train and bus depot is right behind the hotel. It makes your life easier to travel to the heart of city with ease. Few bus services are also directed to Airport so travellers can reach Airport cheaply. Breakfast on the house is good, most of the items are repetitive. Bar has an extensive collection of whiskey to enjoy but very limited options...

This place was a little over a 20 minute walk from the airport. The walk was easy and safe. There are a few restaurants close by but most close early so for later check ins there are only about 3 open later that are walking distance. The receptionist was very helpful and inviting. Nice hotel. Big rooms. Clean and tidy. Bit of noise from the trams but this means they are easily accessible. Not much going on in the immediate area so you may have to walk to find a decent place to eat. I would go back, hopefully next time for fun instead of business.

Old but well maintained, pretty clean, 5 minutes to airport and 10 minutes to expo. Parking is secure. Fridge by the reception, you can get some drinks from.

I've never been received with more hospitality in a hotel, the whole staff is lovely, super friendly and they really think along. We arrived by bike that we could safely store in the parking garage nextdoor. The rooms have sparkling water and some snacks waiting for you. Breakfast and dinner were good.

This is a place at a gas station where truck drivers stop to rest. It is clean but when I hit in my room it smelled like body odor. I had to air it in a 4C weather. It is very very basic. Not good for longer stays! But for a quick pit stop it may work.
