Decent hotel in the centre of Monschau. Good views from the room.

Probably the best hotel at the location. Beautiful surroundings, very cheal hotel, breakfast was continental but decent buffet. Will recommend and will be comimg back.

The hotel was clean, easy to find, and right in the city center, quiet and relaxing. We really enjoyed our stay and had a great time.

Staying at the Best Time Hotel in Monschau was… well, a pretty good time. It’s one of those modern, budget-friendly spots that balances comfort with practicality — nothing fancy, but it does what it promises. Great hotel, within walking distance of all the sights in Monschau. Our navigation system lost its signal when we were driving there. Luckily, we made a guess and got it right. Parking at the hotel is limited. Fortunately, there's a parking garage nearby.

This quaint little hotel was such a gem! Nestled right along the river in a charming small town, it had a warm and welcoming feel. There are many restaurant options nearby as well on property and the breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious—perfect for starting the day.

Excellent location and the staff were friendly and efficient. We ate in the restaurant too which was delicious. However our room was old and tired and very expensive for the price.

We stayed at this hotel for the 3rd time, everytime another room and experience. Pity that 5 persons apartment was not in main building and without bath and tea facilities. Beds were excellent, far better than regular hotels. River view is also very nice. Half board is a good add on but slightly expensive.

The accommodations here are very cozy, with comfortable beds, hot showers, and reasonably fast Internet. Location is everything for this property as it’s right in the middle of a quaint village with lots of charm. The restaurant provides good basic cooking at reasonable prices. Most anyone would be very happy to stay in the hotel.

The room, bed and shower were perfect for a stay after Eifelsteig stage 2 (though some rooms/showers are reported to be small, better to ask to see the room first). Breakfast is ok, though service for hikers is bad: 8 euro to fill a bottle of hot water (while mentioning 1 euro when checking in)! The bakery cafe near te main square is a good alternative to fill your bottle for stage 3, at the price...

What you see is what you get. It’s a historic building. As long as you don’t expect modern luxurious rooms, you’re okay. Old fashioned decorated interior and rooms. But it suits the experience. Bathrooms are a little too small though.

Good service! Parking is quite far away and you can not come close by car since it’s closed off. Room was okay, bit noisy and creaky, and no airco. But overall had a pleasant stay!

Really a classical, beautiful and perfect hotel totally much to the town. I truly love this hotel.

No English even basic. They didn't even try. And vanity products are very low quality and quantity. Why not put shower gel and a shampoo dispenser? So much better for the environment than small plastic low quality products made in China.

Fabulous rooms etc but if even slightly immobile...maybe not appropriate (but could be said of all hotels). Restaurant only open peak seasons. Very traditional. Breakfast was excellent!

Wonderful hotel stay. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well thought out. We enjoyed the balcony to relax with a drink at the end of the day. My wife was so happy to have a kettle and coffee in the room.

You will not be disappointed. Spotlessly clean. Everything you need. Good shower. Delightful hosts. Andrea could not do more. Very welcoming. Delicious breakfast. A real home from home. Even though hotel on road into Monschau it had good double glazing and shutters.

We stayed for just one night during our journey from the UK, touring around Germany. This is a lovely little hotel on the edge of Monschau. There are only a few rooms and we were allocated room 5 - I think this must be one of the best rooms as it is a very good size, with a large balcony directly overlooking the view at the front and the river. The room was very well equipped, with fridge and kettle...

We spent two nights at this great Hotel Garni (ie breakfast but no other meals available except for a packed lunch) which is ideally located on the edge of Monschau. Parking is free at the hotel and access to the castle ruin and centre of town is easy on foot. Very helpful owner/receptionist. Our room was small but had a balcony, comfortable bed, good shower, tea/coffee making facility and small fridge...

Very friendly staff, great breakfast. Good location.

Excellent. I am coming back and highly reccommend this hotel.

Haus Luzi is an age-old half-timbered house in picturesque Monschau. Idyllic on the Rur and in the... middle of the historic old town! Through a beautifully crafted oak door you step back in time and immediately forget the hectic pace and stress of everyday life. Ferienwohnung Bo is located on the 1st floor and is a small but cozy 2-person furnished apartment. No "bliepjes", but cozy chatter. No screens, but pleasantly put together a card, play old-fashioned monopoly or read an exciting book. Or cook together nicely (on the 2-burner induction cooker) in the small but cozy kitchen (at least if you haven't been tempted by one of the many cozy restaurants or "Konditoreien" in Monschau). Not only is everything scottish and crooked, but it is also clear that the people used to be a lot smaller.
