It’s my second visit to this hotel. Forget about Air conditioner even after seeing Air conditioned advertisement or info while booking. They have only cooler not Air conditioner ( clarified by an employee at reception). This cooler cannot go lower than 25 degrees centigrade even the controller has option from 10 degrees to 25degrees centigrade. Don’t know how can I survive for 3 more hot days in this hotel. I don’t find the difference between inside and outside of room😝.
But the good part is they also provide ventilators.

I stayed 2 nights at the hotel in July 2025. The room was nice even though the whole hotel is somewhat outdated. I had a nice view over the city centre and the room was clean and quiet. BUT...big deducts as during the few hours I was in my room these two days, staff entered or tried to enter my room a total of EIGHT (!!!) times (5x to clean, 2x to check the minibar and 1x unannounced (didn't even knock) for unknown reason). When I complained at check-out the lady claimed they don't know when people check out hence they have every right to enter the room and I should've put up the "do not disturb" sign - which I didn't even have in my room. Not good enough...so I doubt I'll return here. There are other nice hotels in Paderborn where I'm sure they give you some privacy during your visit.

Breakfast was decent and the spa on the 8th floor was also fine - nothing luxurious but not bad at all! Strange they don't have a gym but they have a pool.

The rooms were comfortable, clean, and updated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And the breakfast and dinner were delicious. We highly recommend the BW Arosa.

This hotel is our preferred choice for stays in Paderborn. The city center location is important to us, and everything else is just right.

The hotel was clean, the rooms were of a good size and well organized. The Breakfast was amazing, loved it. There was a lot variation and also the possibility toke take it to go. The location is amazing, there is a beautiful parc nearby and many restaurants a few steps away.

Pay attention to their cancelation policy. The hotel is unwilling to come to a solution and not making any effort to compensate. Their communication strategy is to not communicate and hide behind ‘policies’. My booking organisation was willing to come to an agreement and tried 2 times to settle things, the hotel however was not. Poor poor service!

Rooms were clean and well presented. The sauna and steam rooms were clean and open at reasonable times. Parking is multi story but a little tight. Breakfast is a little expensive but lots on offer for the guests. The restaurant doesn't have a great deal on offer in the evening but there are many restaurants nearby to satisfy all your cravings. The staff are pleasant and very approachable

Very delicious breakfast and dinner menus in a fine location, no matter if you take a seat upstairs in the gallery or downstairs in the fireplace room. If the weather is fine you can take a seat in the wonderful biergarten right in front of the "Paderquellgebiet". Nice service.
