Where to stay in Soest

Basic, clean room. Staff is uninformative...offhandish. Dining room food is of questionable quality served in an extremely brightly lit bar/ restaurant. Over breakfast i was treated to owner/manager loudly admonishing staff... Work to be done to deliver 3^ plus quality.

Good hotel for its price, you get what you pay for. Basic room, simpel but nice breakfast, friendly staf and very clean (both the rooms and the hotel itself).

The hotel is located not far from the motorway. The parking is free The building seems to be of the sturdy German construction, located in a quiet part of the village. The check-in was absolutely great! No doubts there. We had checked in close to 9 pm and the hotel restaurant was slated to take the last order by 9 pm. She had informed them of our arrival and got them to wait!!! This is absolutely brilliant...

Very nice hotel. Very Comfortable. Can only recommend. But also the nightlight needs to be changed. It is much to bright for reading in the evening.

Small nice hotel. Staff are very helpful.

Recommended for those who has stay for the nearby offices like Delta. Old rooms. Non-German speakers would face little problem while communicating with few staffs. However staffs are very nice. Some kind of noise may disturb you in few rooms.

Comfortable with friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Recomended.

Great hotel , super clean and friendly. Location is near Soest center . Breakfast included and was very good . Dinner is extra but food is very good as well . Rooms are ventilated and lighted, were missing a refrigerator but otherwise good for the price.

Brilliant overnight stop at Hotel Susato. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay at a great price. Good parking, friendly service, a clean comfortable room and a good breakfast buffet. We also ate an evening meal in the restaurant, very good unpretentious cooking, attentive service and good value for money. Recommended.

Hotel Susato is just south of the nice old centre of Soest where once every couple of years the spectacular Soester Fehde (Feud) medieval festival takes place. Next to the hotel is a large parking place (P2) and on the other side of the ring road there is a nice park where part of the festival takes place when that’s on. Staff was friendly and helpful on all levels My room in the hotel was nice...

Clean quiet room. nice use of the sauna. Good breakfast buffet.

Very nice location, with great bar and restaurant, also the emplyees are very nice and helpful . Got a very good sleep , and the bathroom is very clean and neat. I highly recommend the place.

Needs refurbishing and air conditioning breakfast good, very clean, condition is not to the same standard of the newer properties, close to the town

The cleaness of the hotel is normal. The hotel staff is supportive. The breakfast is good. There is a very good restaurant near the hotel (Restaurant Aloisius, 5min walk from the hotel).

Very clean room and excellent, modern bath room. Great ambiance as well. We ate at their restaurant, at their patio out back, and the service was wonderful and the food was great! Overall a great experience!

Unexpected gem! Excellent room. Five star, modern amenities in a very clean and spacious room. Modern bathroom with hair dryer provided. Have travelled all over Europe and United States and did not expect such modern amenities in such a quaint, small German town. Truly lovely.

We liked everything about the property. The breakfaat was great, well maintained. The staff was very helpful and it was real nice place to stay.

Very nice property. They should however update their information to say that they do not have breakfast on Monday. It was hard to check in after hours as it could not find my reservation without trying multiple times before finally getting the information I needed and checked in

We recently stayed here for one night. If you arrive after 18:30 on a weekday or after 13:00 on weekends, you have to use the machine to check in. Easy enough, but seems odd there is no one to contact in case of issues like noisy neighbors, etc . For example, we wanted to use the EV charger, but couldn't. I also thought it was incredibly cheap that the bill included surcharges of 1 Euro for internet...

It’s one of my many visits in this hotel. Very nice place, maybe a bit pricey but for this standard it’s ok. They started doing breakfast as an option. That’s good improvement. Rooms are quiet and very clean. I will be coming back again very soon.

It gets you there really well. Clean, efficient. Best shower system I ever had. The charm of an old medieval city, fantastic views, wonderful old buildings, excellent restaurants in 500-year-,old settings, the hotel is a stone's throw from all that. Cheap and cheerful no staff just book in by credit card

Clean, Efficient and Great Value Motel in Soest Citymotel Soest is a no frills but very clean, comfortable and efficient motel. Moderately large room. Exceptional value at 60 euros a night. Fully automated check-in. Minor snacks, coffee and beer (!) from a machine.

Very basic. But nice and cheap. Enough for one night stay on long journey. Rooms are very clean. Railway very close, you can hear it, but i think there’s no trains after 11pm. Car park is paid €2 for 24h which is not bad. Close to the city center. In general, my big yes. I think this will be my spot for stay, and I stay in Soest twice a year.

We booked this room primarily due to the price. We found the room to be equal to many other rooms on this trip that cost much more. It was quiet, clean, spacious and the mattress was firm.

I did not had contact to personel. The CityMotel does not offer breakfast, therefor selection was not present.

This was my 2nd time and I really like it here. There aren’t many hotels within the walls of Soest and this one is very reasonably priced. My aunt (not a guest) joined me for breakfast which was only €10.90. Breakfast is lovely. White and seedy bread rolls, croissant, hard boiled egg, meats and cheeses and of course very nice coffee. Breakfast room is also lovely and cosy.

A lovely relaxed hotel. Small and comfortable - although the rooms are really spacious. Beautiful food in the restaurant. Friendly staff who even helped me improve my very rudimentary German with patience and humour. I will definitely return. I want to explore more Soest and its surroundings and this hotel is a great hub to do this.

Classic is the way to describe the hotel. The furniture is unique.

Top intimate Hotel. Kind helpful staff. Wonderful Town. Highly recommended.
