Superb location. Wonderful staff. Bathroom way too small. Bed uncomfortable. It took all day to get a 2nd pillow!?

It's alright; there's a jogging area nearby. The room I was given was close to the kitchen and the tour bus drop-off point. It was still a bit messy.

Had a room with a balcony, which gave us amazing views overlooking the Rhine. Bed was comfy and breakfast had plenty of choices.

The hotel is part of a budget chain of hotels. The room smelled like there had not been deep cleaned for a while and the shower head was dirty. We booked at short notice so we were just grateful to find a room for the night.

Excellent breakfast! Staff I dealt with were great. Rooms are okay. A bit outdated. Bed and pillow were uncomfortable. Pool (cold) and sauna are small compared to the size of the hotel. The free parking fills up fast during peak season, but you can pay to park in their garage.

Nice Inn overlooking the river with good restaurant. Parking was a little complicated and then it was a short walk to the hotel but no big deal. I could have stayed another day. Next time.

Wonderful stay. Out second time here. Proprietors are simply wonderful and accommodating. We had some extra needs and they were simply great. We left our cycles and baggage here for a weekend so we could do some other things. They are just great, the rooms are nice and the restaurant has great food. Read-only priced accommodation facing the railways station in Bad Neuenahr. Very adequate room , clean and quiet. Splendid breakfast area. One of the few hotels available after the floodings catastrophe. I was on visit from Melbourne Australia.

Lovely hotel - doesn't look like much from the outside, but really opens up inside in a very welcoming atmosphere. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. There is a cosy, shared room available for guests, where you can buy and drink good wines from the valley. Breakfast is beatifully arranged, and the location is super practical. We will be back!

We stayed at the Hotel Mietz with the whole family for our father's 60th birthday. In the evening, a fantastic, personalized three-course meal was prepared for us (with both meat and vegetarian options). We felt very comfortable and well looked after. First of all, it's not a Steigenberger Hotel. Still, it's in a great location. Just a few meters from the Ahr River and about 150 meters from the park. It's just the right place for a great time, whether it's a weekend or a longer stay. We had many good conversations with the owner. Thanks for the time.

Nice clean hotel with decent sized rooms and facilities. The hotel has a peacefull vibe with friendly hosts that clearly enjoy their work. They offer all you need for a good breakfast and there are plenty of restaurants nearby for dinner.

We stayed at the Hotel Mietz at the weekend. The room, very spacious, clean and equipped with a new bathroom. We slept very well, the rooms are very quiet. Nothing was missing at breakfast. Das Hotel Fürstenberg ist schon geöffnet, das Restaurant wird noch renoviert. Wir sind sehr freundlich empfangen worden, parken hinter dem Haus war super. Es gibt mangels Restaurant im Moment noch kein Frühstück, aber 50 m entfernt ist eine sehr gute Bäckerei. Die Zimmer sind groß, uns hat es gut gefallen.

Super friendly staff and you felt like family (especially the breakfast in your room). A great starting point for a stop for a leisurely hike. The rooms are clean but a bit old, but the price/performance ratio is right. And if you accidentally leave something valuable, it will find its way home. Excellent stay. Owners treated me warm and kindly. Clean bathroom and water heating working really well. Spacious room with a comfortable queen size bed, very calm, I’d say the quietest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. Good hotel, friendly staff very good restaurant. For some reason the toilet always needs flushing 4 or 5 times after a number 2 and having stayed in practically all the rooms over the years its the same in almost all rooms. If you're not OCD about it like me then you will be fine.

Rooms are out dated. Wi-Fi was flakey. I did have a nice view on a balcony overlooking the river. Breakfast was limited also. Staff were friendly. Room was cold and there was no heating, thin duvets too.

The design of the room is absolutely fantastic. To stay in this beautiful Ambiente is real fun! The hotel is nicely located in the center of the city a d the rooms are still really quite besides the required sounds of church bells. Beautiful 4 stars big Park Hotel. The hotel is not far from city center. You can enjoy the private beautiful park which connected with the public bicycles and walk path ways along the Ahr. You will get beautiful sceneries with big beautiful winery gardens at the side of Ahr. The clean air at the park can give you new spirits and energy during staying at the hotel.

We were a group of seven and felt very comfortable at the Hotel Lindenmühle. The hosts were very friendly and did everything to make us feel welcome. The breakfast was excellent, and the fact that you could get drinks from the refrigerator in the evening and enjoy them at the hotel was fantastic. We highly recommend this hotel.

A house steeped in history: once a mill, later a shoe factory, and now a hotel. The owners lovingly rebuilt the building after the flood (though unfortunately, it's not quite finished yet). The rooms are traditionally furnished yet modern, and the breakfast is excellent and plentiful. Ahrweiler's old town is just a short walk away. A major plus: parking right outside.

It is incredibly interesting to visit the Ahr valley and both see some of the effects of the terrible flooding in 2021 and ho nice everything is being restored. Hotel Ännchen was the perfect place to stay. Tastefully renovated and perfectly situated in the charming old town with its restaurants and wineries.

I visited this hotel while traveling for work in Ahrweiler, very pleased with the service and the room I was given with a nice view to the old town. Breakfast is totally worth it and very handy having the refreshment room where you can pick your own drinks.

This place is really good, the rooms are very modern and like a home from home. The facilities for a sports person are second to none and the location is 1.5km from the centre of Andernach

I've stayed in hotels all over the world. This was one of the nicest. World class spa and exercise area and the restaurant had a simple menu, but well prepared meals.

The staff greet the guests in a friendly manner, check the vaccination status and also carry out tests. You don't have to say anything more about the sauna itself, as everyone knows what a great sauna landscape awaits guests there. The steam rooms are also great. And then the restaurant ... great to look at dishes at affordable prices, which are served quickly and in a friendly manner and taste great...

Very nice hotel with friendly staff, an excellent restaurant and splendid view, right on the red wine trail. Unfortunately there is an noisy railway track close by. The rooms with a view are most vulnerable for this. All this comes at a price. Still you get good value for your money.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel St. Peter (country hotel). From the welcome to the exquisite breakfast buffet – my birthday table was prepared with great care. The room was very spacious and clean.

We Were 4 days in this Hotel, the rooms are not brand new but clean, well furnished. The staff very friendly, nice and very helpful. Breakfast Buffet very good. We needed a stopover en route from Lake Constance to Amsterdam and this was perfect - close to the A3, but very good value (not autobahn prices), welcoming staff even though that night we were the only guests, spacious, clean and comfortable room, great dinner and lovely breakfast.

The food is very good. We like to go there. It is advisable to make a reservation, as the early evening is always busy. The staff is friendly and is well organized. One can only recommend the Himberg inn.

We had a great night in this restaurant ,our food was excellent ,we all enjoyed it very much,the staff are very friendly and professional and courteous.i recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes a good Steak ,or any traditional German food they have it all .

If you are like me and are looking for perfection when you eat out then I think I've found the ideal spot. When dining out I'm looking for, 1. excellence coming from the kitchen, 2. warmness and a good feeling from the ambience and 3. a welcoming friendly vibe back from my waiter who should be defending my desires rather than the establishment. I found the perfect combination in Wirthaus Himberg....

Comfortable room, great breakfast

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Beds were not comfortable and pillows were not soft had to request additional which helped. Breakfast was lovely a lot of great fresh options. Parking on site was convenient. Overall it was nice, but not great for a long term stay.

Lovely spacious adjoining rooms for our family of 4. Nice and clean, very comfortable (although no AC so a little warm).

Only thing that was missing was a fan or something in the room and better pillows or more than one.

Lol. I was camping, forgot to check the weather forecast, left my tent door open, and went for a walk. Then we had two hours of torrential rain. All my clothes, my sleeping bag, and the interior of my tent, were soaked. All the local hotels in Bad Höningen were full. I got the train 30 km south to the Food Hotel. It was great. Especially the heating, which I needed, to get dry.

I think parking fee of $10 is a bit too high. As a travel agent working for one of the largest agency in the US I can highly recommend this place. On the other hand I need to say the mattress toppers need a thump up

My family and I love this hotel. In the two years we have stayed there multiple times. We love it, and if you’re in Neuwied, you should give them a chance to wow you like us!

We (4 people of one family) really enjoyed our stay at the Foodhotel. We arrived after 8 and than you had to check in at the automated desk. But a friendly employee wich was still working helped us checking in and opened the desk for us. Greatly appreciated, because we where rather tired of our trip. The rooms had dedicated Airco's and where suprisingly decorated in the style of supermarkt product...

The check-in process was smooth, and the staff was extremely friendly. The coffee-themed room was spacious, and while parking cost extra, it was very convenient; overall, a bit pricey, but well worth it for the incredibly comfortable beds and tranquility.

Good value hotel The Hotel is conveniently close to the station but only a short walk to the centre. Whilst near a road and the train tracks the room was reasonably well sound proofed when the windows were closed and they didn't disturb me. That might be an issue in hot weather as it doesn't have air conditioning. The breakfast was fine with a reasonable selection. Overall the hotel was good value...

Booked a single room at a reasonable price and was not disappointed with the room i was given larger than most single beds a three quarter bed and the room was spacious enough...

Reasonable hotel for quick travel

Nie place to stop I really like this stop just as I am not interested in staying in Koblenz it is a good distance outside of town. It has a very nice Irish pub.

Excellent experience. Great rooms, good service and a bar where you can comfortably relax. Also, a really luxurious breakfast that I would recommend to everyone! Location is great next to the Rhine and also allows you to visit the nearby castle+ruins on foot. In terms of service: I managed to forget an important item in my room safe. They responded quickly and within 3 days the item was delivered...

We were in a group tour so it was not our choice. We were supposed to get a queen bed. We were provided with 2 separate single beds, very firm and uncomfortable. No use complaining, it was booked days before so no excuse. At least the room was clean. The TV had no Netflix and no way to change the language nor cast my phone to it.

I booked the hotel for my parents so I don't have a first hand experience. But nevertheless I had to write a review! My parents loved the place, rooms, location and the breakfast. My special thanks go to Herrn Rosenbaum who went above and beyond to make sure my parents had a wonderful stay! Customer service you don't find in Germany very often.

We were met at the property by the owner who made our stay even more memorable. Everything about the property was excellent. We will return if we are anywhere nearby in the future.

Very clean, helpful staff, easy check in, good parking. Lots to do in the area and a local McDs. Only issue is we got a different room then we booked.

Does exactly what is says on the tin... Location is good if you are on the motorway, there are a couple of restaurants within walking distance. Room is basic but comfortable. Nice breakfast. and the price as expected, very reasonable
