Baudobriga Rheinhotel in Boppard

We had 6 nights and enjoyed our stay from start to finish. The staff were friendly and welcoming, especially Greta with a lovely manner and helpful with our lack of German. Breakfast was delicious and we had dinner at the hotel too. It had a family feel. Cleaning staff were also friendly. The balcony was special watching the boats go by. We didn't want to leave. Who knows we may return one day. We highly recommend it.

This hotel was our favorite stop along the Rhine River. It’s run by lovely, attentive people and there is so much charm to the place. Thank you for having us. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay! The hotel is beautiful - right on the riverfront with gorgeous views. We loved eating breakfast on the front patio. The staff were incredibly kind, going above and beyond to share recommendations with us for our time in the Rhine Valley. (Thank you, Leah!) A truly magical stay our family will never forget.

This hotel is a gem. And they have a winery! Owner Elizabeth welcomes you with a handshake and inquires about your trip. Her crew is friendly and makes you feel very welcome, breakfast, dinner, and wine tasting. The Winzerbrotzeit was one of the best things I've had. Not to mention the beautiful view of the Rhine. Highly recommend for food, lodging, and wine! 🍷

We loved our stay here! We had a riverside room with a balcony that had an absolutely gorgeous view of the Rhine River. The hotel itself was very charming, our beds (two twins) were extremely comfortable, and the room and bathroom were a good size and spotless (so clean!!). The location in Boppard cannot be beat, right in the center of town and on the river. It was close to several restaurants, cafes, the walking path, and boat landings. It was a short walk up to the train station and a bit beyond that was the Sesselbahn chairlift. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and answered any questions we had. We also had dinner at the restaurant one night and it was delicious -- make sure to try the Baudobriga wine. It was a wonderful stay!

Excellent small hotel, with a great choice at the breakfast buffet. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The hotel is located directly on the Rhine where you can stroll along the beautiful river. We stayed in an economy double room with a view of the city. Loved hearing the church bells every morning and evening. We had dinner at the restaurant on site. Just to be aware, they only accept cash at the restaurant which is fairly typical in Germany. Also there is about 10 steps up to registration but the hotel has an elevator to go up to your room. It was a very pleasant stay, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!

Arrived , No parking outside the hotel all the spaces were full , but managed to squeeze into a car park 20 yards away . Only downside was we had to make sure we paid a days parking 6 euros each morning , we were not offered a cheaper rate from the hotel as mentioned in a review . But that aside the room was spotless , the towels were changed every day . We recommend a river facing room with balcony , lovely to watch the boats . Breakfast was typical German and plenty of it . We ate there one night and the food was excellent. But there are so many restaurants in Boppard you are spoiled for choice . We did a day cruise on the Rhine with KD , highly recommend . We were lucky with the weather 28/30 degrees each day ! We also followed a walk recommended y the Tourist Info , around Boppard and the forest 5k ??? Not for the faint hearted , we are experienced walkers make sure you’ve good footwear and walking poles !

After having booked another hotel that absolutely didn't live up to the prospect we found Baudobrica and what a treat it is! We had the most gorgeous room with a balcony overlooking the Rhine. Everything is sparking clean! Like WOW clean! The Hotel owner Frau Elisabeth and staff are welcoming and helpful. Breakfast and dining is traditional and fresh, and the wines... From their own winery are varied from bold and powerful for dinner to light and easygoing for a quiet time in the sun.
This will definitely not be our last visit!
