Lovely hotel well situated on the Rhine just a little difficult to get around it if you are not very mobile as there are a lot of stairs. There are lifts but some places i.e Restaurant you need to go up or down stairs. Good food lovely staff.

Good tourist class hotel. National coach holidays used the Wagner in place of the Kurfurst which has been permanently closed due to the cost of updating its fire control plan with the local fire brigade. Hotel had a stand alone outside lift which helps folk get to their rooms along with internal lifts but not to the restaurant which has stairs that must be used to gain access. Free bar from 9 to 1...

Fantastic . Mareus and staff friendly and fun. Can't recommend it enough. Felt like one of a big family, they just couldn't do enough for us. Congratulations to the chef food was amazing. The staff are super friendly and helpful. We arrived at 22.00 and was served a 3 course meal. The well-being suite was great...and after a day sight seeing was lovely to have a sauna and power showers..towels were provided. The breakfast is continental but enough to go around everyone. Evening is a set meal but I sure if you had dietary needs would be accommodated. We were a coach party of 50. Entertainment...

Fast efficient and most importantly friendly service. Great food and a superb location. Loved it

The view was spectacular. We spent the entire afternoon there. Their meal was good, although the fries were a touch hard and oily. Their ice cream was delicious. Service was a little slow, but the personnel was friendly. The restrooms were not very sanitary.

Review is only of the restaurant. Decent food, prices fair, service fast, but the fact that they do not inform you up front that you can only pay by cash is annoying, especially in 2023 when not everyone carries cash around.

We loved the hotel. It's location is definitely working its magic. To be honest, I didn't want to leave. However, there were some slight imperfections that need to be fixed. Pillows are not the best. In fact, it's hard to sleep on them. You can clearly hear everything that is going on in the corridor. Nevertheless we haven't heard anything from other rooms and it's cool. hard to describe the experience as we arrived in Frankfurt after 7 P.M. and didn't get on the road till 8 it was getting dark and finding this small village was very difficult for someone not familiar with the area. Didn't arrive till almost 11 no one there fortunately the door was unlocked and the room key was on the desk. No one up in the morning so no interaction at all !

Quiet location that you have to drive to. Little disappointed to have to pay for on-site parking when you not close to central Boppard. Wifi did not work for us in the building but did work outside. The place was showing its age as it looks a little worn. Comfortable bed.

Booked this quite last minute for our party of six. Clean and comfortable rooms, quite small but had everything we needed. We were greeted at reception by a friendly gentleman but there were no staff on duty and the restaurant was closed (no breakfast either). The hotel gave the impression that it was shut for the season.

Highly recommend. Clean and chic hotel with comfortable beds. Extra pillows were conveniently available. Restaurant/bar had upscale feel without upscale prices. Quiet surroundings. Private parking was easy and convenient. All in all, a very good value for the price.

It's nice hotel to stay in if you're visiting Koblenz or the surrounding area.rooms were good, The only concern was when we booked the hotel the entire hotel staff was on holiday. So I can't comment on service

It was a pleasure to have such a clean, cozy place to stay. Woke up to the sound of birdsong and the babbling brook in the woods across the street. Wish we had stayed here longer than one night!

It was a bit loud and hot. The room on the run-down side, the beds a bit hard and the sheets and towels rather stiff. Nonethell we slept very well and the staff was extremely helpful.

A very nice hotel Rooms are very comfortable The hosts are the best we have ever met. They are so attentive and make sure everything is ok. I am a coach driver and due to Me leaving before breakfast everyday they make me and my colleague a packed lunch. Nothing is too much for them. Highly recommended Buddy the dog is my new friend.

The location of hotel is very good. At the center of city and everything is really near. The river and cruise and shopping center by walking distance of 100m. Regarding to hotel, it is average. It is not good manage but size of rooms are also not a very big. The other things are good like complementary free travel ticket and other activities you can do near hotel.

Great place with a great outlook, friendly staff, lots of breakfast variety. An every year visit for us, looking forward to next April when we will return. Recently added home made pizzas that went down very well with our party.

My family of 7 just finished a European vacation in which we stayed in 5 hotels. The Rheinhotel Lilie was by far our favorite. The staff is exceptional, the views are spectacular, the breakfast is delicious, and the location is top notch. I'll be back! Highly recommend.

Nice hotel right on the Rhine waterfront. Rooms are compact but comfortable. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is an extra but would highly recommend, a great spread served with a friendly smile. Owner Scott was wonderful and couldn't have been more helpful when one of our party took a tumble on the street and needed a trip to emergency. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

We were here for a weekend away celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. The hotel staff were very friendly, at breakfast on the morning of our anniversary the waiter had reserverd a table by the Windows overlooking the River Rhine and it had candles and flowers, it was amazing. Great staff, great view... The apartment suits in the secondary building offers a great view of the ferry terminal and river in front. We enjoyed the nice breakfast too. The staff was polite and friendly.

This hotel is a gem. And they have a winery! Owner Elizabeth welcomes you with a handshake and inquires about your trip. Her crew is friendly and makes you feel very welcome, breakfast, dinner, and wine tasting. The Winzerbrotzeit was one of the best things I've had. Not to mention the beautiful view of the Rhine. We loved our stay here! We had a riverside room with a balcony that had an absolutely gorgeous view of the Rhine River. The hotel itself was very charming, our beds (two twins) were extremely comfortable, and the room and bathroom were a good size and spotless (so clean!!). So far we have been there twice: Dinner with 4 people - everyone was very satisfied with the food and drinks. Breakfast with 2 people - we had a very rich breakfast / brunch, designated for 2 - 3 people at a price of 29.90 € plus drinks. Very nicely presented! The eye eats too ;-) A fourth person would have been fed up with it, but there were only two of us. Perhaps this breakfast should be reduced...

The quality of the food was very good and it tasted delicious. The waiting time and for food and drinks was unfortunately a little longer due to the lack of staff, but this was made up for by the extreme friendliness. Overall, the stay was very pleasant and we look forward to seeing you again.

An OK hotel with a bit outdated rooms but clean and also kind staff. Airco is noisy and doesn't work so very good. TV is small and far away from the bed. The remote was filthy. Price is good. Neighborhood is also quite old. But being so close to the Rhein makes up for it all. The restaurant is very nice and more modern.

A fantastic family run hotel, very friendly owners and staff. If we are going to the Rhine Valley we only go if there are rooms available here. The junior suites are great, very comfortable and spacious, room 404 is our favourite. Breakfast is more than ample. Quite simply, we love staying here.

Hotel and facilities are good. The reception is very friendly. My room had no air conditioning, so I had to open the window. The train is passing next to the Hotel, so it is very noisy. I woke up at 03:00 and could not sleep again.

This was a great stop for us. Although a little dated and the hotel could do with an overhaul it was clean, staff were outstanding, a lovely park area and lots of walks. The hotel is right on a public transport system so the bus collects you from the carpark. Great addition. Our only problem was the water pressure but we noticed them working on this. The balcony was great for sunsets and sunrise...

The hotel's location is fantastic and the rooms are very clean. Ample free parking is available for all types of cars. The staff is incredibly friendly and patient. Breakfast... absolutely delicious! It had everything you could possibly want.

Great place to stay for a day, surrounded by nature. The city is a bit far away, but you know. We had no hot water all morning, so we were there overnight and couldn't shower. Unfortunately, we told reception, but they can't arrange this. A bit strange. The interior is a bit dated and could really use an update.

I wish if lift goes to all floors. Since I had carry up heavy luggages by steps from ground to the 1st floor and another steep steps ffom the highest floor for the lift on the 3rd floor to upper floor where the room was located, I twisted and injured my knee. Not serious I hope, but may take time to recover. Everything else was wonderful. Very good accommodation.

We spent three nights at the hotel. The entire property is very well maintained, and the location is excellent especially during meals, as the view of the Rhine is absolutely stunning. The spa area is on the smaller side. There are only four loungers in the pool area, and the sauna is also a bit small. The rooms aren’t extraordinary, but they are clean and well kept. The food menu is not extensive...

There was good and not so good about our stay. We had to wait over 20 minutes to check while the staff member tried to resolve issues with another guest. That was unfortunate but understandable, but I was never acknowledged and when I was able to begin, was abandoned to another guest before completing. Was never told anything about the property including breakfast location and hours or spa location...

This was the best hotel during our journey through Germany and Austria. Checks all the boxes for excellence. The room is large and very convenient with all the amenities. Spent 2 nights in a comfort room and standard room. Both great nights, very comfy beds. Great river views. To be honest I'm not sure what the difference between the price categories was, but either way prices were reasonable and we were happy. Didn't try restaurant as reviews were poor. Had 2x meals in the town.

I have been to Sankt Goar many times and always stay at Hotel zur Loreley It has been 10 years since I was last in Germany. The hotel has new owners who are great. The rooms are great, new paint, TVs, bets and everything is new. I loved it. Breakfast was great. I hope to come here again soon.

We had dinner in the restaurant. The food was very tasty and nice; we ate everything. The waiter was also very nice with a sense of humour (from Marosvásárhely/Románia) and he recognised our speech when we were talking in Hungarian. The only reason I took 1 star; we could not pay with card, only with cash. In 2021 using cash in a hotel restaurant is not an option...

One of the best hotel experiences of my life. When me and my friend arrived around 19:00 there was only a German family there playing games but they let us in and we checked ourselves in. Had an amazing night with the Germans and a story to tell for the rest of my life

Just went to the restaurant. Food was nice, though it took quite some time to be ready, but as usual for restaurants fairly pricey. In general a typical restaurant.

We didn't stay here, but came for lunch and it was great! The food was really tasty, excellent schnitzel, pasta, and wurst. The staff was very kind and accommodating for our two little kids (ages 1 and 4).

Lovely little hotel on the Rhine This is a lovely hotel in a great location. We had a room with balcony with a gorgeous view of the Rhine. The room was a nice size and very clean. The hotel itself is older and a little out of date, but it was maintained well. It’s a short walk to the train station and the boat dock. It was a perfect home base to explore the rest of the middle Rhine.
