Weingut Gehlen-Cornelius in Brauneberg

Great location in the middle of the vineyards, with a good selection of wines and self-service for guests. The experience was beyond expectations from check-in to check-out. Everything was quiet and well-organized. The buffet breakfast with freshly baked bread every morning was a nice touch. Definitely worth including in your trip through the Moselle Valley.

Wonderful experience! Our only regret is only staying one night. Gorgeous setting and great wine. Highly recommended!

Amazing sfaff and place

The B&B is located among the vineyards, just a short distance from the main street. The staff, mainly members of the family, are very friendly and the accommodation itself is modern and extremely well equipped and kept. Very clean and hygienic, nice rooms, great bathroom. Breakfast is very pleasant, either inside or in the garden. There are lots of places for a relaxing moment with a splendid wine of their own production. And for those who prefer the atmosphere of the villages hete: Bernkastel is only 8kms away.

Great place. Excellent breakfast. Loved that you take whatever bottle of wine out of the reception fridge and just mark down what you took and pay later. Nice view. Highly recommended

This is a very nice hotel and vineyard.

The vine is good, the service is super friendly, breakfast was great too.
The rooms are very clean and pretty spacious.
We had a very cozy testing here and bought some bottles to take home.
The vineyards are very beautiful too.

There are only 2 minor things I didn’t like.
The beds are a bit too soft and the parking could be bigger. If you arrive late at evening it’s not easy to fit your car.

But in general this is very nice place, we enjoyed our time here and I totally recommend it.

No fridge, no airco, no coffee machine in the room, not enough parking spots, weak wifi (unusable) signal, no Internet services nor connectivity on the smart tv, no restaurant, no elevator. That is what we could find as aspects amenable to improvement. But: clean rooms with balcony and beautiful views, communal wine fridge, excellent breakfast, cozy and efficient communal areas, bike storage, excellent price/quality ratio, warm welcome and efficient service. Still one of the best in the region

We stayed here last summer and it was splendid. The rooms are clean, spacious and offer beautiful views.

The receptionists are too kind. We bought loads of wine and insisted on helping us putting it in the trunk.

On top of that, we came back to Bernkastel this week and wanted to buy some wine again. We were offered a wine tasting, alongside with lovely conversations about the family business, wine processing etc. After we chose our wines, we got the best recommendations for cute restaurants and bars. We thought we'd share them with you as well!

I highly recommend this lovely stay to everyone.

We stayed here in late August on our first day in Germany after a long trip from the UK. This hotel vineyard was truly amazing, what a gorgeous place it is. From the moment we arrived we got a lovely welcome from the lady host of the hotel and she helped out in English when needed .
This place is wonderful! Location overlooking the vineyard ,our balcony view was great and what I really loved about this hotel is that you help yourself to all the drinks in the main reception , the wonderful wines and beers and soft drinks and you quite simply write down on a card what you've had and then you hand it to reception at checkout :) and the red wines were so nice and very reasonable priced.
The breakfast is something else ! First class food and dining area , I couldn't believe how great this place was and I was upset that we only booked this hotel for one night on our 8 day tour around the Mosel region .The host and hotel 10 out of 10 , great value for money and the room was so modern and clean! We could have stayed much longer if we had known how good this place is! :) .
