Parking: 24€ at a separate parking garage (Bürgerhof) from where you walk 5 minutes to the hotel.
If you choose to not pay via the hotel, the normal parking garage price is 26€ for the night.
So if you think this hotel is the best budget option, factor this parking cost in.
Plus a city tax of 4€ for each additional guest at check in.
No water, mini bar or anything else in the rooms.
The restaurant in the hotel has expensive prices(20+€ for most items)
Service at the front desk: most were very unfriendly. One was okay to us.
The gym is decent with a few machines and weights.
The sauna works but was set on 93° which is high for these small saunas.

Comfy, clean, friendly
The Tulip Inn is just right for business. The rooms are generous, well equipped. Beds are comfy. Pillows are too high, a per standard, but if you roll up a towel, you'll sleep like a baby.
I truly appreciate the hardwood floors. I dislike carpet in hotel rooms.
Bathrooms are clean, well maintained.
Breakfast is great, coffee is good. Staff is very friendly.
Public transport is right close by, parking is available.

Worst hotel service and zero cooperation from the reception guy (Saif).
After booking and paying through booking.com, and at our arrival, he said they canceled our booking 2 mins ago without any proper justification.
And he blamed booking.com, although so far on booking.com all is good and no notification regarding a cancelation.
Not recommended.

Very clean room, the bar area was comfy and if I’m ever around Ludwigshafen again I will surely stay here once more!

The hotel is extremely strict about non-smokers – you even have to sign a declaration to that effect.
I was very surprised when we entered our room and it smelled strongly of cigarettes. We were immediately given a new room and everything was fine.

I love this hotel. The front desk staff were very helpful, my room was clean and quiet and if given the chance, I would stay again.

Terrible service from the weekend staff. Lobby provides water during the week for the guests, but when you request when there’s none, the staff says “I have other duties I will get water here maybe in one hour” then two hours later you go he says “I still have duties to do I can’t bring you water or you pay 3€ to buy bottled water”.
What kinda of BS is this? Worst service from hotel receptions EVER. Also I requested room service for everyday, but they never made my room after the first night, I was there total 4 nights.

Nice layout, but the transparent bathroom door may indispose some guests. No kitchen cutlery/pots/pans was provided, making it pretty much useless. The microwave rotating plate was missing, but the maintenance team quickly provided a replacement one.

Just your average hotel. But, it is very clean. Does not have a bad odor. Bed sheets changed when you request.

80 degrees in the room and no airconditioning. They would not turn in on yet . Absolutely ridiculous. I will never stay there again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone
