Location-wise, the Hyatt Place is very close to Frankfurt Airport, which is its biggest advantage. It’s perfect for an overnight stay, a layover, or an early morning flight. However, it’s worth noting that it is quite far from the city centre, so it’s not the ideal base if your goal is sightseeing or exploring downtown Frankfurt.
On-site amenities add to the overall experience: there is a lovely restaurant offering enjoyable meals and a bar that’s great for winding down in the evening.
Overall, Hyatt Place Frankfurt Airport is an excellent choice for airport travellers—comfortable, clean, and extremely convenient.
The hotel offers underground parking, which is useful, but there is no drop-off area in front of the lobby. Instead, only three small spaces are available, usually occupied by taxis, which felt unusual for a property of this size.
The biggest drawback was the service. Breakfast and café staff were rather impolite, and most of the staff we interacted with seemed indifferent or, at times, rude. The reception staff were particularly unhelpful. At the lobby café, staff appeared to avoid us, and our order was only taken 20 minutes after we were seated, which was a major disappointment.
Although the hotel is not very old, the rooms already felt dated, especially the bathrooms. Overall, this property did not meet the usual Hyatt standards we are accustomed to, and we are unsure if we would choose to stay here again in the future.
