Reviews
House keeping never filled up our shampoo or soap but we could have asked but just kept forgetting.
The breakfast staff are so lovely and produce a varied buffet.
Excellent locations super handy to everything.
The reception staff were mostly friendly but there was one member who dressed in a suit and wasn’t overly friendly and I over heard him saying “English” in a disgust tone as we walked past.
Highlight was the hotel bikes you can use for free to bike around the town.
The person that should welcome people treated me with discrimination and even asked me if I could afford his “expensive hotel”. Not only used those words against me as also cursed while my husband was trying to park.
So much disrespect for a four stars hotel.
We chose to stay there because we were very tired after many hours driving and that was the last stop of our honeymoon.
The bedsheet was also very dirty (see pictures). And the slipper were reused as they were also dirty and sticky.
The good part is the morning staff that was very friendly, specially the receptionist and the breakfast receptionist. All the cleaning staff was also polite. The breakfast was good.
The room was very big, with a fridge and a very powerful shower. It’s a pity that they don’t leave the hygiene items in the room, you need to call the reception if you need anything (including pillows). And there is no one in the reception after 11pm.
The hotel has potential, but due to my experience with the receptionist man in the evening, I wouldn’t stay there again.
Cafe and Restaurants near hotel
1. Arrived at 22.30. The self-checkin machine didn’t work and could give me the card. The Notfall number was dialed and they helped to get inside by opening doors remotely, but I couldn’t grab any food as I wouldn’t get inside anyways
2. On the next day I left my backpack to walk around the city before my train departure. And when I returned to pick the backpack - nobody opened the door. Nobody picked ip the phone. Nobody picked up the Notfall number. Eventually some lady opened the door by some chance, but I missed the train anyway already.
Excuses? Of course not.
They were busy with cleaning.
Just not answering the doorbell, not picking the phone, not picking the emergency number, not being able to deliver the card with the machine at night.
This is a very poor service, sorry.
