Nice support and beautiful room. So much satisfying quality. But air conditioner setting is not good. Felt some coldness during night though I set the temperature high and volume high.

2025 Oktober No change from 2024 review but reception ignored guests needing checkin while entertaining friend, and proceeded chatting with friend while checking guest in. (He could have taken a minute) Dog friendly, clean, and great location for walking in the old town.

Room is small, but very clean. Bed is comfortable, bathroom has hot water, and AC is cold. Internet is good as well. Good breakfast selection in the morning. Location of the hotel is perfect.

Hotel was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. A busy wee street, with some colourful characters, but always felt safe.

Great budget hotel, ideally suited for Porche museum and train station. Breakfasts are not cheap, but fair selection and good quality.

Convenient location, our stay was great We stayed in this hotel for our trip to the holiday park and the Technik museum. The hotel is conveniently located, close to both attractions, and the cathedral and the city center are within walking distance. During our stay, there was a street festival with roller coasters, food, drinks, and music right next to us, which was interesting for our kids to look...

Our one night stay was fine. Staff were nice, room was small, bathroom was compact but shower was good, bed was comfortable. It was easy to park car and location was convenient.

Nice hotel, with paid Parking and Good breakfast

Excellent location, comfortable room and outstanding breakfast. The breakfast had great breads, warm eggs and vegetables, a nice fruit salad, lots of muesli options, good coffee and more. Rooms were clean and the front desk was helpful before and after my long stay. Outside the door is the Dom, the city center with restaurants and many beautiful places within walking distance.

We spent a couple of nights in this great hotel. The breakfast was outstanding and each night we had an excellent meal, and great beer, in the adjacent Hausbrauerei Domhof. Both are highly recommended.

I recently spent 2 weeks at this lovely hotel. Super clean, big beautiful windows that open and the staff was friendly and kind. I highly recommend. We loved being next door to the cathedral and enjoyed the bells. The pedestrian zone for Speyer is right around the corner. The breakfast is an outstanding buffet.

Beautiful old coaching Inn type residence in the center of Speyer, a stones throw from the historic cathedral. Clean, comfortable and well appointed, the staff are very welcoming and friendly. Hotel was perfect, 11/10. Really good breakfast and a perfect location close to all key points of the town. Lots of good restaurants and cafes nearby. A big plus from the most beautiful and peaceful inner courtyard where you can enjoy a glass of wine and breakfast.

We liked the hotel. I had read a review about the bells of the cathedral being noisy but we didn't hear them. The rooms are around a large courtyard and we were away from the bells. Our room was nice and had A/C. there was also a lift so we didn't have to carry bags up any stairs. The room had a decent shower that you could walk into (not over a bath). We had an emergency stay at this hotel due to our car breaking down in a nearby location. The manager was so very kind and offered to come and pick myself and my child up while my partner stayed in our car waiting for the recovery service. What fantastic service, you could tell straight away that this was a family run hotel and gave personal service! The room was perfect and the breakfast was exceptional...

I stayed for 45 days in 2 of their accommodations (not located in the Hotel) and it was truly an excellent experience. The place has a perfect location and the team was always very welcoming and helpful. And they accept pets! I highly recommend it!

We have just spent a wonderful weekend in Speyer and this hotel suiting our needs. All the staff were very accommodating and welcoming, answering any questions we had. This hotel really exceeded my expectations. I felt really welcome, and everything was just perfect. The breakfast is superb, and the rooms are really comfortable and clean. There is a very nice garden at the back, and the bus stop is just in front of the hotel. They even welcome you with kind notes and cake. I would really recommend this hotel, and I look forward to staying here again.

Excellent experience at this accommodation. Very clean, spacious and with all you need to have a lively staying. Either you want to cook for yourself or go for a meal out, plenty of choices are round the corner as many food shops, bakeries and restaurants are few meters away from the flat. Quite and private accommodation makes you feel very comfortable. Highly recommended. Laundry service is available...

Very central and cheap rooms with parking included. Perfect for visiting the museum and only a short walk away from the city center

When i stayed at this hotel it was a good expirience as the Rooms where nothing special (Even tho I found 2 spiders one on the Wall and one under my pilow) the breakfast bar food was realy Good and if you get Lucky you might get a room with a good view on the muzeum overall a nice expirence would recomend

It's an amazing place to visit with so many wonders and curiosities. The imax dome cinema was simply breathtaking. The hotel staff is amazing; very friendly and helpful with big smiles all over. The rooms are súper clean and everything works. All in all it was a wondrous experience that i recommend to everyone especially airplane and space travel enthusiasts.

Very helpful staff, and right beside the museum, but it is also close to the old town, about 15 minutes walk, or the bus is also close, it goes often. The room has what you need, not more, not less, i can not complain. The museum was amazing

Basic but very clean and quiet, perfect for visiting the Museum nearby.. The breakfast was very good and the stuff was friendly. Seeing that 747 jumbo from my bed in the night was really something special

Great location but not very well organised. When checking in around 17:00 found the door locked and no staff around. Took a while before someone showed up. Same with checking out. These people also run the restaurant downstairs, so don't expect them around for the hotel rooms. Rooms are dated with mediocre matress on bed. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and delicious food. The pasta and pizza can be requested gluten free (also lactose free & low histamine). They have the most flavorful gluten free dishes in this area. The waiters are friendly. We'd definitely come by again.

Nice hotel, very friendly owner. Lovely breakfast. Charging possibility for electric vehicle (not free, which is not necessary, very acceptable rate). Close to the centre of town.

Good price, good bedrooms, good breakfast, parking lot next to the entrance door, close to the cathedral. Perfect choice, we were with two little children and was OK. We'll be back.

Very clean hotel with nice rooms and comfortable beds. Everyone plesent and helpful. No bar, but there's an covered outdoor area and a vending machine selling ice cold beer. To the best of my knowledge there's a BBQ provided for guests to use.

Quaint hotel with a nice breakfast included. Rooms are spacious with a fan, which is nice during the warmer months. Easy drive to Speyer cathedral. Available grocery stores. Heidelberg only 1/2 hour away. Several restaurants within walking distance.

Excellent family run business with the quality and customer service a high priority for the owners. Very warm friendly welcome and the rooms are very clean and well equipped. The BREAKFAST IS EXCELLENT everything you would see in a high end hotel chain but will an informal family feel. I would 100% recommend the superb hotel in Speyer.

I arrived without great expectations – and I'm honestly pleasantly surprised: The Hotel Kurpfalz maintains a loving, well-maintained standard that's absolutely worth its price. My room was spacious and quiet; in the evenings, the view directly overlooked the towers – a mini-cinema of Speyer through the window. The highlight: the wonderful bathtub. After a long day, simply immerse yourself in hot water...

We stayed here for a long weekend and had two single rooms. We received a warm welcome. The rooms were exceptionally spacious and bright, with everything you could need – a bed, desk, sofa, and plenty of wardrobe space. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the bathroom was modern with a well-adjustable shower. The mattresses were excellent for hotel beds! The location is ideal, close to the city center...

Very nice hotel. The size of the rooms really surprised me. They are really large and it's nice. I'd say they are maybe a bit too large, they kinda seem empty. And the dining room looks really nice.

Boutique style hotel, great service

A very nice, well-maintained hotel with a very friendly welcome and service. The location is perfect for a city trip, 5 minutes from the main train station and 10 minutes from the old town...the Technik Museum is also within walking distance, about 25 minutes away. The bed was comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. I'd love to come back...👍

I love Speyer. Very nice, quaint and historic. The GuestHouse is very clean. Michael at the front desk is the best! Friendly and very helpful! The location is perfect. 300 steps from the train and close to many historical sights! I recommend!

A mini, tiny half point deduction because it was far too warm in the room even with the window open - even for me, who wears two sweaters when the temperature is below 15°C and wears thick socks even in summer.
