I arrived without great expectations – and I'm honestly pleasantly surprised:
The Hotel Kurpfalz maintains a loving, well-maintained standard that's absolutely worth its price.
My room was spacious and quiet; in the evenings, the view directly overlooked the towers – a mini-cinema of Speyer through the window. The highlight: the wonderful bathtub. After a long day, simply immerse yourself in hot water, deep relaxation – exactly how it should be.
What makes the hotel special for me is the art that has been collected with love. Little discoveries everywhere: not just decorations, but visibly selected and cared for. This gives the hotel character and warmth.
In short: A quiet, harmonious city hotel with soul – clean, quiet, high-quality, with a view and a bathtub. I'll be back.

We stayed here for a long weekend and had two single rooms. We received a warm welcome. The rooms were exceptionally spacious and bright, with everything you could need – a bed, desk, sofa, and plenty of wardrobe space. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the bathroom was modern with a well-adjustable shower. The mattresses were excellent for hotel beds! The location is ideal, close to the city center and within walking distance of the train station. The light switch by the bed was a great feature. There were also plenty of other lamps. The blinds and curtains were a nice touch – very thoughtful!
A few things weren't so great: no air conditioning (although this wasn't mentioned in the description), no soap dish in the shower, and the stairs squeaked, which was bothersome at night. Overall, it was a fantastic stay; we enjoyed it very much.

Very nice hotel. The size of the rooms really surprised me. They are really large and it's nice. I'd say they are maybe a bit too large, they kinda seem empty. And the dining room looks really nice.
