Nice old fashioned hotel. VERY clean. Staff very friendly, esp the breakfast lady with the short dark hair. We were allowed to check in 30 minutes early. Good breakfast with nice coffee - please take the large glass if you're making yourself a latte machiato!! -
Room spacious with fridge, kettle and coffee, desk, decent desk chair. Bed was great and two pillows to choose from. Room was a bit warm but there was decent fan. There was a bit of a smell though so we opened the window. Bathroom nice, spacious, great shower, make up mirror.

Very nice place, enjoyed a lot the breakfast and the man taking care of the breakfast is super nice and kind, 100% recommend

Beautiful building with tasteful interior design. Staff was very friendly. Hotel and room were spotless and super clean.

Spacious and comfartable rooms (We occupied three for a family convention.).

Great rooms and lovely decorated hotel. Everything is not commercial but rather very open and welcoming. Defiantly recommend staying here when visiting Speyer!

Have visited hotel Residenz twice with my family in the last two years and both times had an excellent experience. The management is very helpful and give you insightful tips of the surrounding area. It is a children friendly hotel. Rooms are spacious and have all the amenities you need. Breakfast is delicious and it has a nice charming bar.
Speyer is a very lively town with a great heritage and good restaurants. Outside speyer you have great nature and some wineries.
I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

I was here in the summer of 2015 with my mother, and am finally getting around to writing a review. Both my mother and myself (an early 30s professional) absolutely loved our 3 days here. It's so very charming and pleasant. The room was lovely, well appointed, and a lot more spacious than one anticipates in European hotel rooms. As a side note there was one very handsome staff member, who was always there with a smile and a "guten morgen!" I always appreciate it when the staff seem to enjoy their jobs. I would definitely recommend staying here on your trip to the fatherland (we are of German ancestry, and were on a bit of a "discover our roots" trip!).

Outstandigly tasteful boutique hotel in the heart of Speyer. Great rooms, superb service and nice breakfast. Looking forward to staying at this place on the next trip!
