Hotel Domhof in Speyer

Excellent location, comfortable room and outstanding breakfast. The breakfast had great breads, warm eggs and vegetables, a nice fruit salad, lots of muesli options, good coffee and more. Rooms were clean and the front desk was helpful before and after my long stay. Outside the door is the Dom, the city center with restaurants and many beautiful places within walking distance.

We spent a couple of nights in this great hotel. The breakfast was outstanding and each night we had an excellent meal, and great beer, in the adjacent Hausbrauerei Domhof. Both are highly recommended.

I recently spent 2 weeks at this lovely hotel. Super clean, big beautiful windows that open and the staff was friendly and kind. I highly recommend. We loved being next door to the cathedral and enjoyed the bells. The pedestrian zone for Speyer is right around the corner. The breakfast is an outstanding buffet.

Beautiful old coaching Inn type residence in the center of Speyer, a stones throw from the historic cathedral. Clean, comfortable and well appointed, the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast buffet is exceptional, with the scrambled eggs worthy of a special mention. The inner courtyard offers a beautiful place to relax plus the hotel‘s restaurant/beer garden offers great food and drink options

Hotel was perfect, 11/10. Really good breakfast and a perfect location close to all key points of the town. Lots of good restaurants and cafes nearby. A big plus from the most beautiful and peaceful inner courtyard where you can enjoy a glass of wine and breakfast.

We liked the hotel. I had read a review about the bells of the cathedral being noisy but we didn't hear them. The rooms are around a large courtyard and we were away from the bells. Our room was nice and had A/C. there was also a lift so we didn't have to carry bags up any stairs. The room had a decent shower that you could walk into (not over a bath). Parking was free, if you could find a space in their car park. They also had a small underground car park for €12.50 a day. Breakfast was a mixture of hot and cold. They had a fresh orange juice machine as well as a coffee machine. They own the restaurant next door so if you have dinner there you can just put it on your bill. It's not the cheapest hotel in town but has a good location. There is a 24 hour reception and a courtyard where you can order drinks. I would happily stay there again.

Great beer, good food. Cosy. And, surprisingly, relatively inexpensive!

Pretty courtyard, lovley clean cool room with parapet flooring. Comfortable beds. Hard to find with satnav but this app proved indispensable. Right next to impressive cathedral. Highly recommended.

Great hotel! Rooms were spacious and nicely updated. Friendly staff, great breakfast. Location is amazing! Right in the center, 50m from the Cathedral. Free parking though spaces are limited and small.

Very nice hotel, with great breakfast. We will definitely come back when COVID is gone!
