The reception staff Julian at night team was so nice, he tried hard to help me to find an adapter or charger, although the charger wasn’t working at all but still, I could feel the staff is quite care about the guest.
The room and bathroom was so clean and nice, there was a big window with the sunlight in and a huge mirror with light lighting, very nice for women to put the makeup. It’s super quiet at night. I liked the room a lot! Recommend everyone!

The hotel is new, installations are very good, with a long promenade outside. Breakfast was very good.

I arrived at the Holiday Inn Express in Merzig with a broken down motorcycle, no working mobile phone, and this hotel was a life saver! Every single staff member was so helpful, and really made a tough situation so much better. Thank you everyone! The room and hotel is lovely, the shower was really modern, the breakfast was delicious, so I really couldn't fault anything,

A perfect modern hotel for an overnight stay, right next to the highway.
There's no restaurant for dinner, but there is one nearby, or across the road, at the Brauhaus, which primarily serves pub food and features home-brewed beer.

For an overnight stop, it is clean, tidy, practical, well located and near good food amenities. There is a lovely river and riverside walk to stretch the legs and get the blood recirculating after a long drive. The staff are extremely helpful and the breakfast very good. We've used this place twice now, in the past 2 years. We drive from London to Venice at least once a year since 2000. In the past in one overnight, now stopping twice. This hotel is very conveniently placed for us to break the outward journey in to 3.

Good location, friendly staff. The hotel is light and airy, clean bedroom and bathroom ideal for an overnight stay due to its proximity to the A8. Decent breakfast with a Brauhaus nearby for meals. Good value for money, although it's probably more expensive at other times of the year. Would definitely stay again.

The staff was very kind. The breakfast had everything you normally would eat in the morning (instant pancake machine is a nice extra).
The room is very clean. 2 pillows (soft and hard) per person makes it easier to fall asleep.
