Loved the spa and breakfast and restaurant

The property was within easy walking distance to the baumwipelpfad and many wonderful hiking paths. In addition, we enjoyed the pool and sauna each day.

The hotel is situated in a relatively remote area, and I selected it primarily because it offers a car charger and is priced reasonably at around 100€ per night, including breakfast.  I have found the hotel to be exceptionally clean, and the staff members are quite welcoming and attentive.  The room is spacious enough for my needs as I only utilize it during the night. Delightful welcome - made to feel at ease. Spotless room with balcony: plenty of space. Bottle of water waiting.  The nearest thing to a niggle is that I prefer a hard mattress, but I realise that I am in a minority… Superb breakfast - as good as any I have enjoyed.

A perfect modern hotel for an overnight stay, right next to the highway. There's no restaurant for dinner, but there is one nearby, or across the road, at the Brauhaus, which primarily serves pub food and features home-brewed beer. A great breakfast buffet at the hotel.

Great, clean and kids friendly. Ameneties available free of charge at the front desk. Even offered a lunch bag for the kids. Staff is very friendly. Free parking on site. Happily surprised!

Simple and comfortable, nice scenery

A pleasant experience. The staff was very kind. The breakfast had everything you normally would eat in the morning (instant pancake machine is a nice extra). The room is very clean. 2 pillows (soft and hard) per person makes it easier to fall asleep. Environment friendly solution with the towels and soap for the bathroom.

La maison is a beautifully designed hotel with warm hospitality. We were really amazed by the interior design and the great atmosphere. With a fine dining restaurant (2 Michelin stars), a high quality bistro and a wonderful bar with fine drinks and bites, it's culinary heaven. We also enjoyed the rest and beauty in the lovely wellness with garden.

So we booked this for my birthday in combination with the Louis restaurant. I’ll start by saying, the hotel experience was great, the spa is very nice and quiet, clean and organized. The hotel is gorgeous in every tiny detail. The design choices are spectacular and every area is well curated including the corridors and the landings. Service was great and breakfast divine. I didn’t get to see the spa that is said to be mind blowing. Parking and electric charge were just perfect

Very nice Cute hotel in the heart of Saarlouis. We got a free upgrade to a very nice and specious room. Beds are super comfortable, quiet. Will use this hotel again!

Great deal, but just know you’re getting a dated room without AC.

The hotel is in an excellent position within the town. The staff were very pleasant. The only downside was that the radiators in the bedroom and bathroom both needed bleeding but by the time we discovered this the reception was closed (18.00). The bed was a little hard for our liking.

Stop over in Saar Louis We needed a place to stay on our way to the mountains. Nice rooms. Good location in the city Centre with parking nearby. Excellent friendly service and a nice breakfast.

We were starting on Easter Monday for 2 nights here and must say, for a Short break in Trier can only recommend it. Large rooms, Breakfast is served at the table. Good breakfast. Only 20 min walk to Roman baths along pretty little river trail past many private gardens and a beer garden. Enjoyed spa and pool.

we stayed above the sun terrace looking down at the bier garten. It is a nice treed setting by a creek and below vineyards. a bus stop outside takes you right to the Roman gate in old town Trier. bus 81 or bus 6 on weekdays. the reception helpful with bus info, but note return not to the same stop but dismount at oliweg entrance and follow short path to back of hotel. otherwise u r in for a long ride...

Walls are thin, and you can hear your neighbors but to be expected in old historic buildings. No a/c but a small fan in the room does the job but is noisy. The staff was extremely kind and receptive. Everything about this facility was great. It is easy to access and the on-site parking is very reasonable (10 euros a day). The room was spacious and the overall facility is updated, clean, and convenient. The downtown walking zone is just across a street with multiple dining options, markets and shops.

I loved the above ground parking lot. Easy access. There’s also underground if preferred.

The hotel facilities and services are very good, but the sauna is charged separately. Convenient parking was the main reason I chose this hotel as I was only passing through for one night. This is a great hotel with very friendly staff and a good atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and clean. Water, tea, coffee etc is provided in each room. There is a seating area outside for relaxing in the evening and many local restaurants in walking distance.

This hotel is in a great location. The clerks are friendly, helpful, and professional. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I would give it 5 stars if the double occupancy rooms weren't made up of 2 single beds.

Magnificent hotel and very good value for money

The rooms are spacious and clean, and the hotel has good amenities. It is close to Trier's main tourist attractions, so you can get there on foot. The breakfast is also good.

If you are driving only It’s near river except river is extremely boring the Roman remains are in centre which is about 2 km ! It’s an average hotel with a kettle and coffee ! It’s near Roman bridge !

Good location and a quick walk to anything within the city! The river makes for a good view as well.

For those who are traveling alone, please note that there is no 24-hour self-service check-in. You need a working email address and an international credit card. 24-hour Internet access is very important. It is not recommended for people who lack travel experience.

The hotel is very central, within walking distance from Trier's main attractions. The room was nice, not super clean but good enough to stay the night. Fair quality for the price

The hotel is great value for money. Some of the rooms appear to be undergoing renovation at the moment. My room overlooked the river, with a nice view of the old Roman bridge. It's a short but interesting walk to the hauptmarkt, Karl Marx's birthplace and museum, Trier Dom, Porta Nigra, and other sights. I'd happily stay here again.

Good location - about 15 mins from town centre, roman sites closer. Hotel is very accessible if you have a car, but note limited parking. Very nice friendly staff. Good views across river. Lovely riverfront dining area. Continual free coffee and tea, and areas to work/congregate.

Check-in was done using machines, which was very difficult as we arrived very late and didn't have enough battery on our cell phones to get some information.

Very nice front desk staff gave restaurant recommendations and advice on transport. Updated bathroom was a pleasant surprise. It’s a bit of a walk on cobblestone paths if you arrive by bus or train, so keep that in mind when travelling with a heavy suitcase or multiple bags. Some rooms are accessed via a small flight of stairs and have windows that open out to a noisy alley.

Got a room facing a side street with a bar with very noisy clientele. Managed to change room and when doing that the staff tells me that they have a lot of complaints for that room due to noise from the bar… Key code panel to open door, not very user friendly.

A great surprise I was rather surprised at how great this hotel is. It was in an unsuspecting area that was very close to the main plaza in Trier. The best part was the comfortable rooms equipped with air conditioning. I had the best night's rest in a long time.

Good location, but the room was really small with no closet space. There was only one towel provided for a double room, my husband had to to get dressed to go to the front desk to ask for another towel.

The hotel is from a well-known chain and is located far from the city center and the bus stop. There's a large, inexpensive supermarket nearby called Rewe.

Clean, comfortable and friendly staff. Train station in sight, but a long roundabout walk to reach it.

Reasonably priced and breakfast was good. Warm welcome by reception guy when I arrived and he helped with my checking in. Hotel would have been better placed on opposite side of train station for easier access to Trier City centre, but walk is not far. Disturbed sleep a few times from noisy hotel guests slamming or knocking on doors. Not a fan of the key code entry system!

We had a great, quiet room on the third floor. Enough space for the four of us, good shower, no noise from neighbours and/or outside. A little walk away from the center, very enjoyable

Very good The room was simple but practical, nice and clean. Though there is no reception, it was easy to reach the hotel and arrange check in. The communication was very good, friendly and clear. The location is ideal as the hotel is close to the main attractions of the town.

This was our favorite hotel on our mini-tour of Germany. Adorable and historic, the rooms were perfectly renovated so the floors don't creak and you can't hear thru the walls or floor/roof. Absolutely fantastic hotel in the heart of old town Trier! This luxury hotel was wonderful and very quiet. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were catching the train before the scheduled breakfast and they remembered from two days earlier that we would love to have a to-go breakfast. When we came downstairs it was ready for us and a taxi had been called. WOW!!

The location, right next to the train station and the bus station, is wonderful. Because Trier is a rather small city, everything is in walking distance. The room was perfect for my needs: it was clean, had free wifi, TV, even a free small bottle of wine. The bed was comfortable, not too soft, not too hard. The staff was absolutely fabulous and ready to help for anything - which bus to take to wherever...

This tiny and clean hotel was situated only 5 minutes walk from the walking center. We got room from third floor (no lift), which means we have to carry our suitcases up narrow stairs. The room was quite small. The bed was located just in the corner. Shower was also quite small at least for grownups. Staff was friendly and hospitality. Breakfast was normal hotel breakfast.

Everyone is super nice and I would certainly stay here again. The rooms are large and spacious and I really feel at home. It's a little odd that you can't decide in the morning if you want breakfast. You have to decide at least 1 day in advance for good reason but when I don't know if I'll have time until the day of it stinks that I can't come downstairs and eat.
