Good clean hotel with freindly staff
Just stayed one night the room was very clean but quite basic and the bed was very comfortable . Beer was good and the food was fairly basic with a limited choice which was good in quality

A very nice hotel on the outskirts of Magdeburg. Quietly located - ideal for our conference. Thank you again to you and the team. Your support also made our event a complete success. The process, organization and implementation were perfect - friendly and reliable staff met all expectations.

I was only there for one night as I was passing through.
The concierge was nice and accommodating.
However, the whole house is very old-fashioned, not clean and the room and the hallways smell.
The bathroom looked as if it had not been cleaned at all or only very superficially (hair in the bathtub, toothpaste residue in the sink and in the toothbrush holder) and I think that the bed had not been freshly made.
The room smelled really bad, maybe they had sprayed a pine scent or something like that. The smell didn't really go away until the next day.
Other than that, no effort was made when it came to the furnishings, which you can see in the little things. For example, the paper coasters for the toothbrush holder had already been used x times or the paper "Do not disturb" sign for the door was completely tattered.
I would have preferred to turn around and not sleep there.
The breakfast was OK but nothing special, the staff was nice.
In general, the house gives me a rather run-down and dirty impression.

The Hotel Staff is very friendly. The Breakfast is great. The restaurant serves great food. I would gladly stay at the ElbRivera again. There is nothing bad about it. It's a traditional hotel where guests are treated well by the very friendly staff.

We visited ElbRivera today for lunch and it was delicios. Very fresh and tasty meals, specials of the week were different kinds of cutlet. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Simple but Chic decor. Meals for kids where only 3 for choise and could have been dished up more in kids style than in the way for adults.

It should be taken a nice bike ride. We wanted to explore the Elbe Cycling trail. Magdeburg appeared to us as a starting point. On the Internet we were looking for accommodation in Magdeburg. Actually, it should not be a Hotel Magdeburg. We are rather the simpler people. But the Hotel Elbrivera Alt Prester has convinced us. In the midst of the river Elbe, directly on the Elbe cycle route, it was the ideal starting point for our project. The help and good suggestions of the friendly service staff, we have gladly accepted. We have taken wonderful trips. In the beer garden that is an oasis of peace and relaxation, we have found after the strenuous tours wonderful rest. Many thanks to all and especially to the Restaurant Team. You have us spoiled with regional cuisine.
