The location is very good, 5 min on foot from the main train station and also a short walk away from the main street full of restaurants.

Very nice hotel and excellent breakfast ☺️

The rooms are nice and the environment is quiet. The transportation is convenient and the front desk staff is also good. In short, it is very good. The breakfast is rich with many varieties and salmon

The service was very good, the hotel decoration was also good, there was a very open lobby, and the surrounding area was also very convenient, a few minutes away from the station

The location is the best in whole of Magdeburg, nothing comes close. They are walking distance to all the famous sights and the Hbf. Its old and they dont supply mineral water daily. So have to buy.

We were always given a friendly welcome and advice. We missed a few more loungers in the sauna area, but that doesn't affect our opinion. We can recommend this hotel and would book it again

Very beautiful and comfortable place. Rooms well cleaned, bathroom in a good size, with television, fridge and heater. There is a good breakfast and a nice restaurant where you can have drinks and food

Breakfast was really good, although the bacon was a bit too crispy for my liking. The swimming pool, sauna, and gym are open from 7 AM to 10 PM. Overall, very satisfied.

You can feel hotel has it's age. But overall it's super clean, stuff super nice. Breakfast has huge variety of options. Good place to stay over night. Good value for the money.

Short walk (700m) from the last stop of 10 tram. Clean hotel with a swimming pool and sauna. The food and drinks served in the hotel are good.

It was a good hotel but with diner it is difficult. After 8 or 9 pm you cannot order anything at the hotel self. But they allow takeaway or delivery from another restaurant.

I can definitely recommend this hotel! The staff is very nice, breakfast is good. Overall a great experience

The InterCityHotel was very comfortable and affordable. We had a twin bed room with private bathroom. A big plus: great breakfast and included free city ticket.

Ok mid-range hotel close to the railway station. What you need is there, nothing extraordinary. I will suggest booking a business room during the summer, as there is AC, which is not in the standard room.

Good location, good service, but old renovation inside, poor cleanliness in the rooms, the price does not justify it

The hotel is right next to the train station and is a good starting point for a city trip. However, the hotel is a bit old and the facilities are accordingly older and leave something to be desired

We're not from Germany and we didn't know the city, it was dawn and the employees of this hotel were the only ones who were receptive to us and showed us some compassion. Besides that, the accomodations are great

My brother and I were supposed to switch trains in Magdeburg on our way to Frankfurt. Unfortunately we lost the train

It was wonderful, it was excellent, it was amazing!

One night stay Stopped off in Magdeburg on my way to Berlin and opted for Mercure hotel. Staff were very friendly and approachable. Room was clean, comfortable and had good WiFi coverage

An old fashioned hotel with traditional decoration. The bed is comfortable and the shower is powerful enough in a cozy room. There is even a real fireplace in the hotel hall

However the bar and restaurant have re-opened and the barmanager is doing an excellent job and was very engaging when i ate there

Stayed for one night, staff was friendly. Hotel was easy to find, good value for money.

I have been staying at this hotel for 8 years now and every year that passes things get better, this year was just as comfortable and caring as before

Great place! Beautiful surrounding. Great food and excellent service at the restaurant. Clean and elegant, spacious rooms. I really can't find anything that's not great! ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS!

The good: service, sauna, room size The bad: bland food even for Germany. Pool nice to look at but dirty. Beds old and hard.

As a result, we were unable to reach the hotel as planned. We called Dorint around 5 PM and explained the situation. The receptionist was incredibly kind, understanding, and professional

Unfortunately, one of our rear tires exploded while driving on the motorway ring in Prague. It turned out that all four tires needed replacing, and it couldn’t be done the same day

She promised to check if cancellation was possible. About 30 minutes later, she called back and told us they had taken care of it and cancelled the booking without any issues

A huge thank you to Dorint for bringing a bright moment to an otherwise challenging day. It’s truly reassuring to experience such considerate and professional service

The staff was friendly, the building was clean, but had I known that "limited parking" meant closer to "no parking"? I would have stayed elsewhere!

The location was the best to enjoy old town Wittenberg. Plus great lots of restaurants very close by. Picture of Martin Luther hanging over our bed!! Vending machine in their small lobby selling bottled beer for 2 euros

Great value stay with private parking Good breakfast included and very helpful and friendly staff

Probably more than 4 star due to very good and helpful service.

Clean room. Super fast check-in. Had a room available on a super short notice and all was good. Breakfast was lacking a bit, quite basic and underwhelming. All in all good hotel for a short stay.

The smoking area was very gave a lot of noise. And we missed a way to make coffee in the rooms. Otherwise all was excellent.

Quite rooms, professional staff. The breakfast was perfect. Pats allowed. Pay attention - the underground parking is low, max height 1,8 m and narrow passage to parking space.

Wonderful stay! Clean rooms, helpful staff, and a great location. Highly recommended!

Stopover in Magdeburg Great location in a very clean and peaceful district, neighbouring the city centre. The room spacious and clean, the service nice, the bar open 24/7

We spent about 40 minutes eating leftovers and hoping for the service to replenish the eggs, sausages, tomatoes, etc. Unfortunately, no one brought anything:(

She recommended us a great place to have a local beer and food, hiddin from main streets and tourists. Our room in 2nd floor was very spacious, so was a bathroom with a bath tub

It is one of the rare old style German hotels that are not streamlined by the big hotel chains. The owners are very helpful, the location is excellent and breakfast more than we have expected

We visited this hotel some 14 years ago and we are still talking about the experience we then had. For us Hotel Residenz Joop has become the standard for the quality of hotels

The ambiance, the quality of the beds and rooms and last but not least the breakfast. All together, top of the bill
