Breakfast was really good, although the bacon was a bit too crispy for my liking. The swimming pool, sauna, and gym are open from 7 AM to 10 PM. Overall, very satisfied.

Location: The hotel is about 5km away from the city centre. This may not seem bad but if you're dependent on public transport, you'll feel the pinch. Public transport end at 11pm. It's not convenient if you're going out for drinks with friends at night. It's better to pay extra euros and get a hotel near the city centre. This hotel is only a good option if you have a car. There's a bus stop not too far from the hotel, walking distance.
Service: Abysmal. I booked a 3-person bedroom even though it's just me in the room. I got the room at a good rate. We reached early so we tried checking in. The lady at that time said it's only possible to check in for 1-person bedrooms. She asked me if I was interested and I said no. She said I have to wait until 3pm then. She didn't look so thrilled with this. At 3.30pm, we checked in. This time, there was a big confusion resulting in a long queue of people behind me to check in. The issue was that a MAN has checked into my room. I said I came alone and have no one with me. Turns out they don't check ID??? Instead of giving me my room, the lady at the counter (a different one) kept asking me if I could just take a single bedroom. I said no. She wouldn't budge. In the end, I had to cite my medical reason for her to settle down and give me the room I had booked. I find this very unprofessional. Pushing customers to take rooms they don't want or didn't pay for is so unethical and unprofessional. It's not like they're going to pay the difference anyway. If a customer has paid for something, either give them what they have ordered or something better. Not something less!!! Disgusting. Yes, this hotel is cheaper than the ones in the city center but for this point alone, I will not stay here again. I will not recommend this to anyone either.

I laid down for an hour or so and had severe skin reaction and itchiness. No amenities provided other than towels and 2in1 body shower gel. I had asked about this before my check in a month ago but no response from hotel. Again, poor customer service. The rooms are all not sound proof. I was woken up by stomping and running in the room upstairs. I heard the conversation between the mother and daughter clearly.
Conclusion: I won't visit this place again. I should've checked the reviews before booking. So many guests have complained and the hotel's responses clearly demonstrate what they think of their guests. All of you need soft skills training desperately.

Perkele always stays here when we are in Magdeburg to play with the band Perkele. We had the release gig in Magdeburg for the album Theater. We have always been treated well. This time the service was not the best in the reception unfortunately. When we came they were a bit unpolite and told that the rooms were not pre paid, and they were. Next day we were locked out from our rooms and had to srand and wait in a long line to get it solved with our room keys

We didn’t have a good experience with this hotel. We arrived at the room and it was a twin bed instead of double bed (I had selected double bed in booking.com). I came back to the reception to inform that we got a wrong room, and the staff just replied saying that the rooms are all like this and if I wanted a double bed, I should remove the one night stand between the beds and assemble the double bed myself. I even insisted saying that in booking.com you could select the room type, but he said there are no double beds in this type of the room.
Moreover, the bath tub was dirty (see pictures - room 433), the furniture and airco was very old as well. It feels you went back in time to the 90’s. The room didn’t provide even a kettle to a tea, even though they rate themselves as a 4 stars hotel.

I stayed at this 4-star hotel but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The overall condition of the hotel is quite old, and many things in the room were not in good condition — for example, the tap and shower knobs were broken or difficult to use.
The worst part was the behavior at the reception. The lady at the front desk was very unprofessional — she spoke to us as if she was ordering us around, and she did not communicate politely. On top of that, she did not speak any English. For a 4-star hotel, basic English communication is expected, as many international guests rely on it. When we tried to ask her something, she simply said “no English” and did not make any effort to help.
This is not the kind of service or hospitality one expects from a 4-star hotel. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves both the hotel facilities and the customer service standards.

You can feel hotel has it's age. But overall it's super clean, stuff super nice. Breakfast has huge variety of options.

We were extremely disappointed with the check-in experience at your hotel. Upon our arrival, the receptionist—an older gentleman, approximately 55–65 years old, wearing glasses—displayed a noticeably unwelcoming and dismissive attitude. Rather than greeting us with a courteous welcome, he simply responded with an indifferent "OK" when I introduced myself and mentioned our reservation. There was no effort to create a hospitable or friendly atmosphere, and we were handed a document to sign in a similarly disengaged and impersonal manner.
Furthermore, during the booking process on your website, there was no indication that parking outside the hotel would incur an additional charge. When we inquired about this at check-in, the response we received was both curt and condescending, as if our question was unreasonable. The lack of clear communication combined with the dismissive tone was disappointing and unprofessional.
We have stayed at many hotels and have never encountered such a cold and inhospitable reception. The entire interaction left us feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable. It was a good hotel but with diner it is difficult. After 8 or 9 pm you cannot order anything at the hotel self. But they allow takeaway or delivery from another restaurant.
