This hotel is magical place to relax your senses. Spacious clean rooms. Amazing breakfast with tens of options to chose from (adding pic from my breakfast). Friendly space to relax in Spa, jacuzzi or sauna or stretch your spine while swimming in pool. Lots of green spaces around to spend time on walks. Truly recommend 👍

On our way home from a family road trip – two adults and two children – we had booked a stay at Dorint Hotels & Resorts in Magdeburg as our final overnight stop. Unfortunately, one of our rear tires exploded while driving on the motorway ring in Prague. It turned out that all four tires needed replacing, and it couldn’t be done the same day. As a result, we were unable to reach the hotel as planned.

We called Dorint around 5 PM and explained the situation. The receptionist was incredibly kind, understanding, and professional. She promised to check if cancellation was possible. About 30 minutes later, she called back and told us they had taken care of it and cancelled the booking without any issues.

A huge thank you to Dorint for bringing a bright moment to an otherwise challenging day. It’s truly reassuring to experience such considerate and professional service. Based on this, we can warmly recommend booking with Dorint – and although we haven’t yet stayed at the hotel, we will definitely prioritize it on our next holiday.

Disappointed with Poor Communication and Inflexible Service

I booked a double room at this hotel on the same day as my planned stay and specifically requested an additional bed for my son. This was clearly mentioned during the booking. However, I was only informed via email at 4:00 PM on the day of my arrival that the hotel could not accommodate this request due to all extra beds being used in other rooms.

Unfortunately, I was driving all day and unable to respond to the email in time. Given the late notice and the fact that the room would not meet our needs, I decided not to stay. When I requested a full refund for the no-show, I was told this would not be possible because the hotel would not have been able to re-sell the room — despite the fact that they only notified me of the issue late in the day.

I find this response unacceptable. If the hotel knew earlier that extra beds were unavailable, they should have tried calling me due to no response to their email. This lack of timely communication left me with no reasonable options and no time to make alternate arrangements. I essentially paid for a service the hotel couldn’t provide, and their refusal to offer a refund adds to the frustration.

Not a customer-first approach at all, and I would not consider staying here again.

Nice location and very beautiful environment around the hotel. The restaurant is lovely, especially if you can eat on the terrace outside and enjoy a very green and floral area. The staff is great, professional and very welcoming, both at the reception and at the restaurant - makes you feel like a special guest everyday!
Downside would be the rooms. They are clean and spacious but would definitely require to be refreshed, especially the walls and carpets, as well as bathroom seals.

Hey there, I chose the Herrenkrug Park Hotel on Booking.com because of its convenient location after a 10-hour drive from Slovakia through Germany. I was delighted that the hotel is dog-friendly, a big plus for dog lovers like me. The hotel's facilities and beautiful green surroundings were a pleasant surprise. I arrived at the hotel around 8:30 pm with my dog for a one-night stay. The hotel offers free parking and a lovely park with walking trails, perfect for walking my dog. There are also bike paths around the hotel for those who prefer cycling. Room 156 was very nice; the staff were competent and friendly, free wifi, and the location was perfect for those seeking peace and quiet—a great break from the motorway. Although I noticed a couple of negative reviews, I believe you will enjoy staying in this hotel if you appreciate the hotel's age and the charm and character it brings. I would stay here again.

Its cost 90 euro one day, the room style interior w as great but the bed is so lower and its double bed but not good, there are no tootbrush and no cpffee like the other hotels in Philippines even just one day,, and if you wanna use the pool you need to add 6euro per head, the toilet is clean,, you only have free one bottle of water
