Where to stay in Chemnitz

Comfortable stay. Toilet wasn't clean when I got my room. Bed was okay. Everything was basic and functional.

Everything was good except that it was slightly cold inside the room although I turned the dial of air conditioning to + limit. I found no other way to control the temperature of room.

Very good service. I had an sore throte and they gave me a waterheater..

There was problem with room service. Not changing towels and clean room.

Wonderful hotel with a (little)store inside with some nice and basic things you may need. Location is perfect, service very good and breakfast is amazing.

The bed had a sort of rubberized sheet below the lower sheet that had a smell to it. The temperature set control did not seem to work. It was warm in August and the only bedding provided was for cold weather.

A hotel you'd never stay at again; the parking lot is so far.

The hotel is conveniently located in the center of Chemnitz, and is convenient for going everywhere. There is a bus stop at the door. The front desk has English translation and is welcoming. The room is clean. The bedding is comfortable.

Hotel Amber is situated in an industrial park and is mostly visited bij business people. It serves An outstanding breakfast but the rooms nead an upgrade.

Good hotel for business or pleasure. Nice rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast is buffet style and restaurant has good evening menu. Recommended.

Nice place to stay overnight !

Great value for money, good option in Chemnitz. You need a car to get anywhere from here, and at night there may not be sufficient parking available. But overall good stay!

staff are nice who let me do laundry, also they came to fix the outlet issue very quickly. In general, they are friendly.

Good service Very good place, good access from highways. Went for one night. But the day after we decided tondrive a bit more and to go there again.

Loved everything -- EXCEPT the muted lighting in the room. It looks very nice, but I needed good, strong light during my stay and there was no way to get it in the room.

It was a nice and pleasant experience

Hotel doesn’t have AC and the church bells ring every 15 minutes for 5 minutes sometimes longer. Overall okay hotel but tough to sleep with open windows and extremely loud church bells in the early morning hours.

I stayed three days and loved my room and location. The location was easy to get to and within easy walking distance to shops and eating places.

We came for the MotoGP Race and enjoyed our time in the area. The hotel was at a great location for the race (easy train ride and walk to Sachsenring.) Hotel staff was friendly and helpful!

Great Place to relax, no Air-conditioning was the only down side

I have been staying at this wonderful hotel regularly since June 2024. The rooms are just great, the breakfast is top notch, the buffet is lovingly prepared and there is a great selection, everything you could wish for. There is also everything you need for a nice, relaxing vacation, especially if you want to do sports in the hotel's own facilities. I can highly recommend it and will come back again...

We ate here in the beer garden and it was delicious. Service is friendly. Location is currently under renovation, that's why one point less, because toilet use is only possible to a limited extent.

Nice location in Chemnitz to practise tennis, table tennis, bowling, ... all equipment can be rented there and no subscription are needed. The personal is also nice and helpful.

We liked taking a walk in the park and seeing the Burg. Plus, we ate at Lilly's and walked there too!

The hotel has a nice atmosphere and is around 20 km from Chemnitz. Easily accessible from the highway with plenty of parking spaces. The hotel rooms are clean and functional. The bed is very small - very unusual. I didn't think the kitchen was really good. The entrecot was a real disaster (size, Taste, quality), and the breakfast buffet wasn't good either. Overall, there are better places in Chemnitz

Beautiful grounds, huge wonderful room, great staff fantastic atmosphere. That sums it up.

This is the place where you wanna celebrate your wedding for sure. I would. Is so romantic and a special place. Close to the medieval castle. I love the garden and the open space available here. Architecture is also awesome, medieval style.

The hotel is clean and the insulation is good. The rooms are quite small. The bed is comfortable, the breakfast is ok, although nothing special. In the centre of Chemnitz, opposite to the Stadthalle. Located on the 5-6th floor. No gym. Bathroom is ok.

The hotel is located on the 5th & 6th floor of this centrally located building directly at the tram stop. Very convenient, quiet and modern. The breakfast was good and service super friendly.

The Biendo was perfectly placed for the conference I attended and most attractions in Chemnitz are a short walk away.

Just ok You need to call to check in after 8pm. No parking at the hotel, you need to drag your bags to the street. Elevator is super small a slow- 2 guests with bags do not fit. One night was very loud outside. Window didn’t stay open to cool the room down. Mattress was old and hurt. Room was clean but bed very uncomfortable.

Very nice hotel with great rooms. The beds are your typical soft hotel beds but I like them. The breakfast buffet was nice and we got fresh coffee. It was small because there was only 1 other room occupied with us but if we needed anything we could ask and it was delivered. The staff was very nice. The city centre wasn't far and restaurants were all around. Sadly we couldn't try the hotel's restaurant...

It is excellent in terms of cleanliness and everything is well cleaned. I stayed for a total of two nights and when I entered the room the heater was off and the window was open and the room was very cold and also as usual in Germany the heater was turned off at night. So I spent the first night in a very cold room, and even the second night the room was still not well warm. I think it is better...

Nice surprise, alghough small room in size (individual), comfort and details are presented, from tv to wifi, local newspaper, bathroom small too but well equiped including mirror for close-look shaving. Breakfast quite good with assortment of cheese, butter, bread and cold meats, yogurt, sweets, juices, all withing a notably small touch of class from the owner lady herself who serves clients. Ok for a budget stop. Beds are comfy and clean. Aside from the breakfast (cold cuts looked a bit dodgy), there was nothing to complain about. Very friendly staff

Overall, a nice stay. The second bedroom in our room was more like a closet with a window. It was not suitable for an adult.

The property is lovely with great energy, amazing playground for children on the grounds.

Very nicely located in Chemnitz . Only stayed 1 night but wished I could have stayed longer. The rooms was lovely, with very nice bedding and nicely laid out. Bathrooms very clean with a towel warmer which was a nice touch. Hotel has an excellent restaurant which is worth a visit. Staff were very helpful and made sure we had a good stay. Clean and cosy room. But many satellite dishes just in front of the window. Something made a lot of noise on and off, not sure what it was. TV programme very limited. Other than that, good.

Short walk to station. Gave me codes so I could arrive v late. Nice big room. Shared facilities but nicely done. Excellent value for money.

Lovely hosts. Really helpful if you have any questions about the city. Speaks English. Lovely stay so far. You have a shopping mall right across the building, bus-stops as well. I say it's a place i can most definitely book again!

Nice hotel but no night reception

They are a 3star hotel. But the services they offer are most definitely 4star services,they have different themes restaurants aaand every week on Thursday italian night buffé,also brunch es and many more Also thematically designed rooms for one to 4 persons room :)

Lovely little hotel a bit far from the city center. Rooms were big, clean and comfortable. Arrived a bit after the reception closed (19:30), but luckily the owner arrived in no time. Parking was free, breakfast wasn't.

Rooms small but ok. Clean and functional. Bathrooms very well-maintained. Parking in front of the house.

Hurry comfortable, the people inside are very warm; the weekend also will ask do you want to go, on the way can bring you; from the railway station and 10 minutes from the bus station is 5 minutes away; if it is in Hohenstein near to work, can stay here.

Claim to care for the environment but the filter of the bathroom extractor has probably not been cleaned since it was installed, should be done twice a year.

Nice little privately run guesthouse. Very clean rooms with simple, functional furnishings. Comfortable beds that are not saggy and ensure a good night's sleep. The breakfast was absolutely sufficient and delicious. Something for every taste. Chilled drinks are also available for a small price. A very cozy inn, down at the back entrance I was greeted by such a pleasant scent, I found it very "clean". I think the pension is well furnished and the absolute highlight is the self-service fridge, there is a piggy bank and the prices of the drinks are more than fair. So we thought that was great! The breakfast was also great, fresh rolls and everything was there for sweet and hearty breakfasters...
