Phoenix in Chemnitz

Really nice and clean apartment. The area looked a little dodgy and I was worried about the car and it's contents but maybe that was just slight paranoia based on the crowd I saw and the graffiti on the walls.
The flat itself was not bad at all. For a quick stopover and rest at night this definitely was value for money.

The accommodations are typical of a guesthouse, similar to holiday apartments, meaning each apartment has its own kitchen and a shared bathroom. This is important to keep in mind if you are renting a room as an individual or a small group.

Each apartment contains three rooms with two or three beds. The rooms are furnished as expected for this type of accommodation: beds, a table with chairs, and a television.

The kitchen is well-equipped and clean. A toaster, coffee maker, cutlery, dishes, and pots and pans are provided. A refrigerator and stove are also available. All appliances were functional and clean.

The guesthouse is located near the heart of Chemnitz (a 10-20 minute walk to the main train station) and is housed in a charming, typical old building, common in eastern Germany.

The rooms and apartments are easily accessible via the stairwell.

Check-in was very straightforward. If payment was made in advance, the keys to the apartments/rooms were provided in a safe next to the respective accommodations, along with access instructions via WhatsApp.

The only thing to keep in mind is that you'll be sharing an apartment with several other people, which you should be aware of before booking.

However, the individual rooms can be locked with the provided key.

The accommodation is affordable, well-located, and the service provided is exceptionally good and hassle-free for the price.

I liked everything, they answered calls and helped everywhere, they only speak German, the only downside is that it’s hard to find, a very inconspicuous building

The staff are very friendly and the rooms are also good pleasant and clean.
