The location is a lil bit far from the train station, but environment and service is perfect.

At first we were a bit sceptic (internet access is pretty steep as is often the case in Germany), and one of the rooms seemed very remote (very large building and long corridors), and you have to use your key to open the corridor doors

It takes about 20min to get to the city center. The breakfast is also fresh and good. The people there are also very friendly.

Breakfast was really good with everything you could wish for. The staff at the front desk was not very welcoming

That one was for people with disabilities the toilet was too high and there was no bathtub. My reservation was with street view and you can see in the photo the view we got

We have family close by. The staff tries their best and rooms are clean. Rooms are a bit small and other guests were a bit loud sometimes but I'd still come again

A commendable hotel! We had the pleasure of residing in a room with two distinct bedrooms, the beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the pillows and bedspreads were remarkably cozy. I strongly suggest it to families.

The rooms are 25 square meters, bright, pleasantly furnished, clean and air-conditioned. There is simply everything, really everything. The service staff is excellent. Everyone is extremely friendly and competent

The hotel was also very well situated near a tram station, making it an excellent point of departure for going to the city centre in Dresden

However the bathroom was roomy with a good shower, and the bed was surprisingly soft and we slept well

Nice castle for lunch. They open at 12.00 which is a bit late if you just want some coffee in the morning. Surrounding gardens are beautiful. Good stop on your way along the river Elbe.

One of the best hotels in town,comfortable rooms, great garden area, one can have breakfast at the terrace (open from 6am) and get one of the bests views of the city, prices are fair, breakfast buffet is one of the best I’ve tried, coffee hast to be ordered and it’s served at the table (they make also capuchino) staff if very friendly and fast

Nice accommodations for the price. Very basic. Staff not that helpful. Room was in a different building from check in and even though there was a golf cart out front they wouldn’t help take bags to the room.

Almost everyone spoke English (not that I expected, but it was nice not to use a translation app). They asked me a few questions about why we were there and told us the easiest and cheapest way to get there

I didn't really know where the sauna and other extra things were. There is 3 building and you need to move outside between them. The breakfast was in an other building

This place is amazing!! We left Holland to support Ukraine with food, clothing and medicin. After allmost e days of barelly sleeping we arrived here 5:30AM

We could sleep untill 12 and leave at one and still pay for only one night. Thanks to the lady (who spoke very good English as well) for helping us when we had nowhere else to go

It's not very close to the center, but there's a public transportation stop nearby. There are also places to dine nearby, including an Aldi

Lovely comfortable bed. Mini bar, fridge,. Big bath with shower over. I had a balcony overlooking the street. Breakfast is in the interconnected Italian restaurant next door. Handy tram into town 25 mins

Downsides for us: bathtub/shower very slippery, shower curtain sticks to everything and the water temperature fluctuates. Would still recommend and we will be back

The Hotel is situated outside the city centre but perfectly connected to public transport. It feels safe and is very clean

The hotel has been modernised in some parts but retains a more traditional feel to it - especially as it uses physical keys! As would be expected in this style of hotel there were no USB charging functionality, but in my room (413) there were two plugs right by the bed which was handy

We had a really nice stay at the Bayerischer Hof! The location was really convenient for us traveling with a toddler so we were able to take the train in and out of the Neustadt station basically across the street

When I travel, I like to stay in a local hotel rather than an USA chain. This reinforces the experience of visiting another country. This is a perfect hotel for us. It is very German and old and totally amazing

It is right across the street from the 'New Town' Dresden-Neustadt train station - be sure to get off here and not the main train station. Cross two roads and you will be at the hotel

You will not be downtown, where all the action is. That is preferred because that can be noisy and crowded. This is a 10 minute ride on their clean and efficient light rail cars

We had a great overnight stay at Star G Hotel in Dresden. Because we came for the Christmas markets, the location could not have been better. For how good the location is, I think the price was very reasonable

We chose not to dine at the breakfast buffet but from quickly taking a look there seemed to be a lot of options. I would absolutely recommend staying at the Star G Hotel Dresden for its convenient location and value

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Star G. I can only imagine what it must look like during Christmas market season, but it was still lovely looking out over the square with the beautiful church bells nearby

So, the hotel rooms and standard are high and quite sufficient for anyone wanting to enjoy the table of the Atelier. I would rate the hotel/room standard as something four-starish. The environment on the whole is lovely

Seems it's a tiny hotel, but it offers spacious rooms with nice old solid wooden furniture, big properly equipped bathroom. Their staff is very friendly and helpful, they offer some advices (reception opened until 22:00)

Very large rooms, great decor with stucco on the ceiling, and are in part still preserved in some of the rooms is 3 meters large tiled stoves. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Can recommend the house only.

Convenient position for a car owner, next to a highway and with a good connection to the centre of Dresden. The place is quiet in general but an airplane or two from the nearby airport may disturb you in the night

The room was quiet and fairly comfortable with a solid working desk. The food is functional and tasty, though the menu selection is limited. Wi-Fi was a bit weak, and none of the streaming services worked on the TV

It was quite hot in the room in May when the day temperature was around 22C. As apparently there's no air conditioning, it must be really hot there in summer. The shower arrangement must be re-thought

Even though it has curtain which does not reach the floor, half of the bathroom floor was wet after using shower despite all precautions. Breakfast for 15 EUR p/p was ok, but not more

Control of shower temp was trickier than it should have been. The level of room lighting is not great

and on top of that, it was impossible to order a taxi in the area using the apps. - They don't offer a shuttle service to the airport. So you have to book a taxi in advance because you can't get one on the app
