4 star hotels in Gromitz

this hotel does not have AC so summer nights are hot and sensitive people can't sleep. our room faced the inside area where many birds are constantly active - so it's loud. and because we had to open the window due to heat, we could not sleep due to the noise. breakfast was ok, but not special. very large hotel and very busy

Great hotel but major disappointment with the room. No A/C and windows locked from opening. It was very warm, not good for a hotel in this calibre. Otherwise all ok!

The hotel offers free access to the water park, which is great for kids. The rooms are a bit small and not very spacious. There's a diving facility nearby, but it's only open Wednesday through Sunday. Overall, this hotel is a good choice for a family vacation.

We were lucky the weather was so good we used the rooms only to shower and sleep

Unfortunately, the selection at the evening buffet is not satisfactory. Few German-speaking staff at reception. Few garage parking spaces, no charging option directly at the hotel.

We really enjoyed the hotel. I was in Grömitz with two friends for a few relaxing days. The service in the hotel was very pleasant, the breakfast buffet and the coffee and cake in the afternoon were very plentiful.

The hotel needs a bit of updating. Clean and comfy but getting a bit tired. First impressions are always at check-in, unfortunately not my best experience. Staff not the most polite and information was at a minimum. Advertised as a spa hotel, yes they have a spa but unfortunately it doesn’t open until 14:00( the pool opens at 8:00)No information about this on booking. Was told by one member of staff...

December 2024 Grömitz Dejligt hotel, lækker morgenmadsbuffet og fin og ren pool/spa område.

Very good experience with the service desk - the friendliest with a lot of smiles.

A very nice hotel, 4 stars, it deserves more. Everything was very nice, very clean, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was superb, plentiful, and delicious. A compliment to the kitchen! I will definitely come back. Highly recommended.

This was our first time staying in an apartment with three children. Everything was perfect: clean, beautiful rooms, a great pool, excellent service with friendly staff. I can only recommend this hotel to anyone with children!

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. I can only recommend it; everyone here is so nice! On our last morning, there was no water. The receptionist apologized over the phone and asked for a little patience. Even at breakfast, when the water damage was even more noticeable, everyone was very polite. You should make the best of this situation! We will definitely be back!

We stayed for a weekend in a room for 3 people and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff is incredibly friendly, the Spa area is beautiful, the rooms are well equipped with a kitchenette and it is completely calm at night. Other highlights were the vast breakfast buffet and the massage that we booked on top. The hotel is surrounded by fields and yet just a 4 min drive to the beach. I highly...

I enjoyed my stay off the grid and the staff was quite friendly to my privacy concerns. Can't remcommed it enough,

Very tidy and neat place. Friendly staff and a good breakfast with variety. Nothing to complain about.

A great hotel with absolute comfort. The staff is amazing, BEAUTIFUL, great rooms, great food, everything was clean and very professional. I always love coming back and look forward to my next stay.

The best hotel! Very friendly and attentive staff. The rooms are very tastefully decorated – the beds are comfortable. The breakfasts and dinners are absolutely delicious and varied. We would love to come again.

The hotel is located on the Grömitz side of the river, opposite the beach. Expect a long walk to the beach, or you'll have to drive. The hotel itself is nice and clean, with an indoor pool. The staff is very friendly.

In short...everything was great. Very warm welcome. Lovely room. Very generous breakfast. Excellent location. Would gladly return.

A very centrally located hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The staff was very friendly and humorous. We felt very comfortable. Grömitz is always worth a visit. We will definitely come back.

A beautiful, quiet hotel. The beach and promenade are less than a 5-minute walk away. The staff is incredibly attentive, always cheerful and friendly. The hotel, as well as the rooms, are lovingly and modernly furnished down to the smallest detail. The minibar is well-stocked (for a fee). There's a small kiosk in the building where you can buy all sorts of drinks and snacks (for a fee). The lounge...

A Nice place, you get Great service.

Very good breakfast. Friendly staff and owners. Lovely relaxing area.

Very friendly and helpful staff 😁👍🏻 Every morning at breakfast time, the owners came by and wished the guests a good morning and a nice day, which I thought was great because you hardly ever see that anymore 😁👍🏻 The room was modern and very clean; I was very happy with it. I think the location is great, and the beach is also within easy reach. I can only say positive things; overall, I was very satisfied...

A very modern restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. The food is truly delicious, everything is fresh and beautifully presented. The staff is very professional, friendly, and attentive. Prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality. I'll gladly come back!

We stopped at the café for lunch today after a sunny winter walk. We received a warm welcome. The location is absolutely fantastic. Our lunch was superb – attractively presented and plentiful. We highly recommend visiting this restaurant. Thank you for the friendly service during the relatively quiet off-season. We will gladly return.

NR 35 Disaster in Small! One week in Grömitz. Apartment booked over the Internet. Hotel is good. Friendly and nice. Vacation homes are brokered. We were / are in apartment number 35! Small disaster. Minimal lighting, old carpet, loose faucet, etc ..... On request in the hotel then additional light sources (floor lamp) by the caretaker .... Welcome to the 1980s ... But only in apartment 35! The rest...

A super nice place, since 2019 after our first vacation here we feel very comfortable again and again. Swim in the pool in the morning, take a sauna in the house and even jump into the Baltic Sea in autumn. Super good kitchen and very friendly staff. Eating with a view of the Baltic Sea, what more could you want (Meer🏊). We are always looking forward to our vacation here in Grömitz at the Hotel Strandidyll

A truly beautiful place. Since our first vacation here in 2019, we've felt incredibly comfortable time and time again. Enjoy a swim in the pool in the morning, a sauna in the house, and even a dip in the Baltic Sea in the fall. The food is excellent and the staff is very friendly. Meals with a view of the Baltic Sea—what more could you want? We always look forward to our vacations here in Grömitz...

A very nice hotel with a restaurant! The entire team was very friendly and helpful. Great views of the sea and marina. All requests were taken into account. Any time!!! Thanks to the whole team!

I gave five stars to that person who owns the hotel.

Steg 1 review: food was OK but nothing special. Be aware that you can only pay with EC (German debit card) or cash. No credit cards accepted. As a foreign tourist this is challenging. For a restaurant being part of a hotel I would have expected credit cards are accepted.

Nice restaurant location, food and service. But at first they said I couldn’t pay with credit card (even though it wasn’t a small amount). Then it was possible after all, but I had to pay a 4€ fee for it. This is unacceptable, eine Unverschämtheit

Very pleasant, polite, and helpful staff! The rooms and facilities are very clean. The hotel is in a perfect location, right on the water and promenade.

I can only judge the food since we've only been guests at the restaurant so far. But every time it's been wonderful, plus the staff is friendly. Keep up the good work.

Best experience I've had in Germany so far. A must do if you want to get your feet wet and whistle as well :). Food was absolutely .........Amazing! I recommend eggs and cheese in the morning. Whoever is cooking behind the scenes deserves a big thumbs up!!!!!!! well done!
