I’m not used to there not being any staff around so that was strange & a bit annoying as I couldn’t get in to check in to start with.
Something in the room kept telling me it was connected throughout the night, none of my gadgets but I assumed it was the iPad type device under the tv - no idea what that was there for, I didn’t use it.
I also had someone (possibly a member of staff) open my door & try to come into the room after I had arrived with no explanation of why.
It was a comfortable but basic room (reflecting the price paid) but close to the city centre & all the attractions.
It was fresh but the area was kind of sketchy at night. Close to walk into town. The breakfast was okay but nothing special.
The room and bedding was clean.
There were plenty of electric sockets but the bathroom did not really have an area next to the basin to place your washbag, make up and so on.
Breakfast was good. Nice breakfast rolls and meat/ cheese selection.
Friendly breakfast staff.
Room service ????. Our daughter with family stayed there two and since no daily room service the dirty nappies were a sittuation. In the end the reception gave them a black bin liner. We had to ask for clean towles.
The hotel is very close to the Wall park which leads on to the Dom and Market Square. So very good for the sights.
For us a bad point, NO tea/ coffee facility in the rooms. There is a coffee machine in the breakfast room which is open until 6pm. But we like a hot drink in the evening when we come back in to our room, so there was nothing, not even a coffee shop near by.
I was a bit shocked when I arrived around 19:00 since the reception for check-in has already closed, it was not 24Hours! I tried to call the number stated on the hotel’s door multiple times but nobody answered. And the message from the hotel that I got before hand, was that if the I would arrive later, then I should inform in advance, and I forgot to do that. I thought that I needed to go to other hotel to stay already. But luckily somebody answered my call after maybe around 15 to 20 minutes, and I could get the door’s card/key. The hotel should have sent the information about the door key to the email even without the customer requested or asked by phone.
Besides that, the negative things about this hotel is that if you bring many luggages then it will be quite inconvenient for you, since you need to lift them through some stairs even though they have elevator.
Another negative thing is that this hotel doesn’t provide a water kettle, which is important for some people.
Other than that, everything was good, clean and comfortable.
